Overview
The Honda Accord EX-L V6 brings an upscale and sporty appeal to the generally sensible and economical family sedan. 2016 and 2017 marked the final years for the V6 engine in the Accord, as it was replaced with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine in subsequent years. The EX-L V6 boasts an interior with leather upholstery and a host of other creature comforts. The V6 engine is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission that makes smooth shifts, providing a more engaging driving experience than the sterile CVT. You can also get the Accord EX-L V6 with a navigation system, but it should be avoided. These were some of the worst years for Honda’s infotainment controls, utilizing an award dual-screen setup.
Key Features
- V6 engine
- Leather upholstery
- Heated front seats
- Dual-zone automatic climate control
- Five-star safety rating
Pricing Details
In 2017, Honda priced the Accord EX-L V6 at an MSRP of $30,995. Used examples on CarGurus range from $2,148.00 to $33,889.00 with an average price of $8,845.73. Honda does not really break out options like other automakers. The trim is the equipment. There is a variant of the EX-L V6 with navigation. If you want features such as rain-sensing wipers and front and rear parking sensors, we’d recommend checking out the Accord Touring, which also comes with a V6 engine and leather upholstery.
