Overview
The Challenger SRT 392 once occupied the space that the current Scat Pack does, providing a serious step up in horsepower and torque from the Challenger R/T, and holding the middle ground before you got to the Hellcat’s 707hp. The SRT 392 arrived for the 2015 model year’s facelift and replaced the SRT-8, and lasted through the 2018 model year, after which it was replaced by the Scat Pack. The SRT 392 provided 485hp and 475-lb.ft. of torque, which should be familiar if you’ve researched a Scat Pack at all. A bonus over the SRT 392 Charger, buyers could also opt for a standard six-speed gearbox or an eight-speed automatic, The SRT 392 also had a long list of option packages to choose from.
