Overview
The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ is a mid-trim full-size pick-up truck. Available in myriad cab and bed combinations, the LTZ comes standard with a V8 engine. However, buyers can upgrade to a more powerful V8 or a diesel powerplant. Two-wheel drive is standard but four-wheel drive is a common upgrade. The LTZ gets plenty of exterior chrome while the interior is dominated by a large 13.4-inch color touchscreen. When properly configured the Silverado 1500 WT can tow 13,200 pounds.
Key Features
- Available in crew cab with a standard or short bed
- Three engine options
- Four-wheel drive available
- 13.4-inch infotainment display
- Heated and ventilated front seats
Pricing Details
The least expensive way to get a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ is to stick with the crew cab, short bed, two-wheel drive and the 5.3-liter powerplant. That combination comes in at an MSRP of right around $56,000. If you choose a crew cab with a standard bed, four-wheel drive and the 6.2-liter V8 the price rises to around $62,000 MSRP. Used examples on CarGurus range from $8,222.00 to $178,707.00 with an average price of $13,028.29. An LTZ technology package with a head-up display, rear camera mirror and adaptive cruise control can be had for $1,520, or buyers can add the Dark Essentials appearance package for $470.

Fun to drive with plenty of power when you need it, engine seemlessly turns off four cylinders when you don't. Watching this happen on the dash indicator is cool because you instantly get a new mpg average. (17mpg instant econ V8) then (44mpg instant econ V4.) Stops very quickly, despite the 20" wheels making the truck sit up taller than my 2010 silverado did with the 17" wheels. This truck also has less road noise on the highway. Plenty of bells and whistles on this model makes this a very enjoyable daily driver, especially with the bluetooth and heated leather seats.

DO not get the flexfuel it is so quiet and the 6.0 litter might eat gas but it is worth it. The interior is so nice with really nice wood details and the seats are nice. Dark and light cashmere is the interior to get black and sliver looks so bad.The Z71 package comes with some good rims and tires. And last but not least the color is so pretty and looks good in the sun it is imperial blue which is dark blue.
