New Honda Passport for Sale near Mullins, SC
Some see the Passport as Hondaās neglected middle child, but the fact is that the model has rarely had a true carry-over year since it returned to the US market in 2019. It got a significant styling refresh for 2022, newly standard all-wheel drive (AWD) for 2023, and now, for 2024, Honda again updates the SUV.
## Whatās New for the 2024 Honda Passport
The Passport gets a mid-cycle refresh for 2024. Aside from the mildly revised exterior styling and the revamped center console, the bulk of the updates are for the TrailSport trim. In other news, a new top trim, called Black Edition, joins the lineup for the new model year.
## Design
As refreshes go, the 2024 Passportās is very light. You certainly couldnāt call it a facelift, as the exterior is virtually indistinguishable from 2023ās. The new range-topping Black Edition gets its own logo which will feature both inside and in the form of exterior badging. It also adds black 20-inch wheels and blacks out exterior trim pieces including the door handles, grille, and headlight surrounds.
## Powertrain
AWD remains standard for 2024. The Passport continues to use Hondaās i-VTM4 (for āintelligent variable torque managementā) system, and it still comes with a single engine option, a V6 making 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Towing capacity remains the same, too, at 5,000 lbs. Whatās new is the suspension tuning for TrailSport, which Honda has updated for 2024 to make the trim more off-road-friendly. Honda says the changes should increase the Passportās wheel articulation and also improve its ride quality off-road.
2024 marks the first appearance of factory-installed all-terrain tires on a Passport. The TrailSport trim will come with General Grabber A/TX tires on its trim-exclusive 18-inch wheels. Honda says that these tires will improve the Passport TrailSportās traction in snow or off-road while still allowing for a quiet and comfortable ride on-road.
## Interior
The Passportās seats and dash remain mostly unchanged for 2024, but the center console is both visually and functionally different. It now features a deep bin with a padded cover replacing the formerly seat-mounted armrests. The cupholders and push-button shifter have been moved closer to the seats, and the entire console has been widened, making space to rest a second smartphone on the tray beneath the climate and audio controls, right alongside the standard wireless charging pad.
While TrailSport continues to feature orange interior accents, the new Black Edition distinguishes itself with red highlights, to include red interior accent lighting, red contrast stitching, and a red backing that peeks through the perforated leather seats.
Cargo capacity remains the same, at 50.5 cubic feet with the rear seats in place.
## Technology
Hondaās Passport-related announcements so far have focused on the redesigned center console and on the TrailSport and Black Edition trims. If any updates have been made to the Passportās technological offerings, that information is not yet available. For now, we know that it will continue to offer standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and four USB ports. The Elite trim came with an upgraded 10-speaker sound system when it topped the lineup in 2023. It will be interesting to see whether the new Black Edition makes use of that stereo or takes it a step further.
## Safety
The 2024 Honda Passport comes standard with the Honda Sensing suite of advanced driver-assistance technology. Features include a collision-mitigation braking system, forward-collision warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. In keeping with its family-friendly nature, the Passport also has a rear-seat reminder and rear-seatbelt reminder standard.
## Pricing
As of this writing, pricing information for the 2024 Honda Passport is not yet available, but we can make a pretty good estimate. The 2023 model had a base MSRP of just over $41,000 for the EX-L trim, and the last time the Passport got a refresh, in 2022, Honda raised prices by less than $2,000. We therefore expect that the new Passportās starting price will remain under $45,000, while the TrailSport will almost certainly pass that mark and the new, premium Black Edition may even crest $50,000.

The Honda Passport is well-loved by drivers for its spacious interior, comfortable seating, and strong performance across model years. Owners frequently appreciate the ample cargo space and a smooth ride, making it ideal for various activities and family outings. What people say
I absolutely LOVE my new Passport Trailsport. It has a unique blend of offroad ability and style. Big enough for the largest passengers with plenty of headroom and very versatile seating/cargo area in the back. I would give this car 5 stars all day long!
This vehicle is fast! Our Accord touring model was totaled by a girl texting and driving and my wifes lucky to be alive that Accord saved her so our loyalty is to Honda. We couldnt stomach the new Accords engine so we opted for the good old 3.5 bullet proof V6 in the Passport the HPD trim. Its really quick has endless storage space rides higher up than you think and handles all types of weather like a champ. I really have no complaints whatsoever.
Similar to our Pilot we replaced only slightly smaller. Love the Sonic Gray Pearl color and the TrailSport trim level. Rides great and the technology works well for us.
This is an excellent SUV for anyone who does not need a full-sized vehicle. It handles well, is comfortable, and the amenities are superb.
Great car. Needs more fun features. Reliability is great.
