Which Ford Bronco Sport trim should I buy?
The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport offers these trims:
- Big Bend: This is the best-value trim, and it brings the Bronco Sport’s core formula with standard all-wheel drive, the 1.5-liter turbo-three engine, and the updated Sync 4 setup with the larger touchscreen and digital cluster.
- Outer Banks: This trim adds a more upscale feel and is the right fit if you want the available Sasquatch Package for extra off-road hardware.
- Badlands: This is the most capability-focused trim, pairing the 2.0-liter turbo-four with Bilstein position-sensitive dampers, an upgraded cooling fan, and an auxiliary oil cooler, plus the available Sasquatch Package.
- Heritage: This trim adds design-focused retro styling for shoppers who want a more distinctive look.
- Free Wheeling: This trim adds sunset-themed styling details for a more expressive appearance.
What Ford Bronco Sport do most buyers choose?
The Ford Bronco Sport years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2022.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % |

- Tech: The upgrade also brings a larger 13.2-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The ford app is awesome, such an upgrade from my old car with the ability to start from the app. The only thing in this model I would say is heated seats but that is just cosmetic things.

Reviewed a 2024 Ford Outer Banks AWD on Aug 16, 2025
It was hard to find one with a sunroof (a MUST for me) and I feel like the navy interior is not the best match for the Cactus Grey exterior color. But the vehicle is fun and it's growing on me. Doesn't have the comfort (by way of multi-point seat adjustments) that my last car did so comfort gets a b. Also the dial takes some getting used to. Having the "modes" dial so close to the "shift" dial has caused me to shift into the wrong gear a couple of times while driving. The engine seems to comprehend this and di not shift from Drive to Neutral despite me turning it to that at 55 mph. My only other complaint is, since I wanted the luxury features of the Outer Banks, why not offer a power lift gate for the back? Makes no sense. But luckily it is a lightweight gate so not really a problem. Just will miss that convenience when I'm walking to my car with a bag of groceries. It's a fun little truck and super cute. Watch out; you'll start wanting to personalize it. :)

This is a great car, the only negative I have is the back leg room. Good enough for children but a little cramp for adults

Needs a bit more horsepower but better in build quality than Jeep Compass. The value for a fully loaded Outer Banks is good. Fit and finish is good for the price point and paint quality is above average.

Ford Bronco Sport test drive
overall

Updates to Ford’s baby Bronco give it even more off-road capability.
Launched for the 2021 model year, the Ford Bronco Sport is a compact crossover SUV that combines the platform of the Ford Escape with the styling and off-road focus of its namesake. Ford doubles down on that for 2025, adding new option packages to further increase off-road capability, along with tech, styling, and interior updates.
Verdict: The Bronco Sport was designed primarily with off-road enthusiasts in mind, but it’s still a good all-around crossover.
