I contacted Harold Shelby about a pre-owned car. Harold was professional, friendly, and most importantly, Harold is a man of his word: He promised the car would be cleaned and out front of the dealership and it was. Paperwork and negotiations handled swiftly and efficiently. Harold filled the car with gas, installed permanent license plates, and gave me a handsome gift. I would buy again from BMW of Silver Spring. I’ve already recommended Harold to a co-worker looking for a new BMW.

Stellar car buying experience. Most of the purchase was completed via computer and telephone. When I arrived at the dealership, my car was ready, clean w/ a full tank of gas. Documents were explained and signed; I was out of the door two hours. Dan is a caring salesman and Alexis in finance also cares about the consumer. BEST car buying experience I’ve ever had.

Said would call me back in the morning and they never did after I told them I was ready to buy. Didn’t even remember which car I was interested in. Blamed it on month end busy time. I guess they don’t need any more sales this month.

Was ready to make a deal. Salesman contacted me and said 6500.00 to replace struts and they weren't going to sell it. Never pulled from Cargurus and sold a few days later. Wouldn't touch them with a 10' pole. Very sketchy and glad it went away!

The salesperson was great. Stayed back past closing just to make sure I got the information and help I neede.

Dealer was good, polite & prompt and even sent a car over for me to test drive, but the car he sent me was not at all good and just didn't feel new. Also I told him I felt the engine was too loud unlike the other cars I had test driven from other VA dealers.

Their business practice of not disclosing pricing is unethical. Their refusal to provide pricing and photos without calling them is unacceptable. They seem to judge what price to quote based on the phone conversation. Two days later, was told that the car sold, which may or may not be true. So American these days.
