Vehicle was what I was looking for but the sale price was false. They added 5 thousand to the advertised price even after I showed them car gurus advertised price!! It was a waste of time and would not recommend this dealer to anyone

When I called to inquire about purchasing a truck, a Car Factory Outlet representative asked me what state I lived in. When I indicated that I live in Louisiana, the representative immediately forwarded me to a recording which stated that the prices listed on their advertised vehicles were exclusively for Florida residents. After the recording played, the call was disconnected. I attempted to call them back; however, my call was not answered. The experience was frustrating and disheartening to say the least.

If I could give a 0 I would.....I called them to inquire about a truck that is posted. The lady asked what city, state I am calling from and I stated Dallas, TX. She immediately put me on hold then transferred me to a voicemail recording stating the inventory is for In-State customers only and cannot guarantee inventory to Out-of-State customers. No explanation or not more communication besides the recording. They obviously don't care about "Customer Service" so it is apparent all the reviews discussing "Bait and Switch" is 100% accurate.

The dealer did not have the car available, they showed me other cars which I was not interested on, and said that they will contact me when the car is available but never did. Also the price advertised is not the real price, manager told me always add $5,000 to the advertised price of the car.

This deserves 0 stars. The price listed was a bait price , to get you in the door , we were never even shown the car. We drove 30 miles to get there and they wanted us to meet with their financing partner first when we never wanted to finance , the total price they wanted to sell it to us for was 17,751 for a 2015.The overall customer service experience was rude , even the seller agreed it was a bait price that should tell you enough about tho business.

LIARS!!!!! Plain and simple. I called the day prior and I set up an appointment to view this vehicle. They told me the car was in their Miami location. I got off of work and drove 1.5 hours in traffic to the Miami location. Let’s keep in mind, I called them that same day to verify if the car was on their lot. Sales rep said “Yes, It is at our Miami location.” I arrived at the Miami location to find out the car was not there. When I called to address the situation I was hung up on!!! Plain and simple “LIARS”. If I had the option to rate them from 0-10, they definitely deserve a 0.

THEY SUCK. Called 4 times to ask if this vehicle was on the lot and they told me yes. I drove from ft Lauderdale and they didn’t have it at all. Tried to sell me another one but they wouldn’t show me the truck at all.. I don’t even think it was there just like the white truck!

Bottom line up front: DO NOT VISIT THIS DEALER. I scheduled a visit on a relatively slow Tues morning, and left 2.5 hours later with my time wasted. I came to see 3different cars, and apparently 2 of them were "sold this past weekend." Lol, OK... that's not what was communicated to me over the phone the day before when I scheduled this visit... Finally after 45 min of chit-chat with the salesman, I FINALLY get to test drive the car. Nice car, nice drive. Then we began the whole dance with the "manager" I cannot STAND. Though I mention, "I have a CapitalOne pre-approval!," 4 times, the manager insists "I can get you a better financing deal w/o running your credit," but then asks for ny SSN 30 min later. I asked 3 times, "what is is the actual price of the car, with fees, taxes, etc. incl.?" His answer each time, in different ways, "well... we cannot tell you the price of the car, without knowing your credit." NOPE, that's not how this works! Cool car, TERRIBLE experience.

They add 5 thousand to every price by the way. Go to their website and see the tiny almost invisible disclaimer. And that's also before taxes etc. Insane price changes once you go to the dealership. If a car is listed at 10,000, they add 5 grand, and then (obviously) more for taxes and tag etc. Don't be fooled.

My husband drove up from Miami to see this vehicle. When he arrived he was shown a different make and model. The saleman told him that the vehicle he came up to see had just been sold 15 minutes prior to his arrival. This is unprofessional and unacceptable salesmanship. Your method of drawing potential customers to your dealership is a disgrace to a persons intelligence. That is a terrible manner to conduct business. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. I will be sure to tell my social media NOT to deal with your dealership ever.

Do not go to this dealer price listed is not what it is when you arrive ask for additional 5000 down payment and if you call before they say that it is the price, it is just a waste of time.

It was a big waste of time going to that dealership. They basically advertise their vehicles at low prices and when you get there the prices are $5000.00 higher than advertised (typical bait and switch). I made sure to call before I went there to make sure the prices were as advertised and when you get there is a different story. Waste my time and gas. Big Waste of Time..

On the 4/26/2019 I was there to get a Nissan Maxima. Price was $17,191.00 on Cargurus. When arrived the young man, that by the way, was very polite and helpful, told me that the car was in mantenance. So we choose another with a similar price. After drove the car we sat with one of financial aid guys. He showed me what it supposed to be my monthly payment. I asked about the price out of the door and he showed me the total price for about 25,000.00. When I asked him why the price was too high he told me that in the online full disclaimer information stated that I have to pay a down payment of 5,000.00, plus the usually dealer fees and taxes. I don’t care what price they want to sell their cars, but they must be transparent in their prices. A down payment have a whole different meaning of what they are saying. If you read others reviewers you will see they justified it saying that is because we are financing. That is not true. I was willing to pay in cash.

Bait and switch. The prices they list online are “after your $5,000 down payment” for instance a vehicle advertised as $22,000 is actually $27,000. Shady practices!

Bad experience. I made a phone call before going to the dealer to make sure the Toyota Yaris advertised was there. After driving 32 miles from home to the dealer the salesman said the car was not available. The reason: "it might be sold last night, and is very hard to keep the Website updated due to the Tax Returns Season lot of buyers" seems a prefabricated excuses, but fair. I agree to see another Yaris but before going to the lot I asked the sales guys to get aprox the final price of the car including dealer fee, tag, title and Taxes. At that moment the guys said he needed the sales manager to assist him with that number. The price advertised in CarGurus is not the real value. He went to the dealer website and clicked on an small call to action button says Disclaimer, that mentioned a $ 5000 down payment was needed. I do firmly believe that they use this method to show a Great price on the Yaris well below the average. They gave me not excuses. No recomend dealer.

HORRIBLE. STAY FAR AWAY. I live in Indiana and verified vehicle was on the lot before I made the 1100 mile trip to Miami. Salesman verified vehicle was on the lot, they could see it out the window, this was on a Saturday. Monday morning I arrived at the dealership. The Patriot WAS NOT on the lot or in current inventory in their system. A manager came in the office and stated that the vehicle hadn't been in their inventory in over a month. Over a month????? 2 days ago the salesman said it was on their lot. They offered me a different Patriot for "about" the same price. The "about the same price" price was over $3000 more. No thanks.

The worst experience in a dealership!! Today 03/15/19 I visited them from Boynton Beach to check the a 2016 Toyota Corolla for $7,510 on cargurus, when we arrived there they told me the prices didn’t have a $5k “down payment “ i was there to buy the car cash... but after that they said someone had the car on hold with $500 .... come on! I dont know how this kind of scamers are legally open to the public...i wish any organization could do something with these scamers!!! I never recommend this place to anybody!!!

Misleading sketchy dealer. Made me go all the way to the outlet, lied to me over the phone that the price was indeed what stated on CarGurus. I checked that the website did not list any downpayment or any other conditions about the price. Then they showed me some fake version of the site where there was $5,000 downpayment magically not mentioned earlier but stated on top of the listed offer. Very misleading. Wasted my time.

The first time I called and explained that I was out of state, the lady told me that they prefer dealing with people who live locally and could schedule a test drive. I told her that I would fly in and drive the car and we“accidentally” got disconnected. I called 3 more times and someone picked the phone up and hung it up each time. Customer service doesn’t seem to be their best quality. I was paying cash, so their loss!

The prices are lies! If you read the fine print on their website the prices are IN ADDITION to a $5k down payment. So the prices are not great as they are rated on car guru. Even once I was at the dealership they weren’t upfront about the exact costs of the cars. Always “what can you afford monthly”.

Describe my experience? I believe that I contacted the dealership because they advertised a vehicle as having a manual transmission. See photos show that it has an automatic transmission. I contacted them to let them know that it was not a manual transmission. I received an automated, Auto generated response from them. Drove an hour to come see 2 vehicles they confirmed they had in stock only to get the same bait and switch tactics that other reviewers have mentioned. The salesperson I spoke to barely spoke English and tried to show me other vehicles but wouldn't even tell me the exact list price despite the fact that they were clearly written on the document he had in his hand. On the way back to the dealership (they shuttled me to another lot across the street) another salesperson was angry over a separate lost sale and was completely unprofessional, nearly running into other drivers and road raging. I should have checked the reviews prior. Total waste of my time. I highly suggest you don't waste yours.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! I contacted this dealer to verify that the Mustang Convertibles I’m interested in are available, and they were. Great. I also asked (on two separate phone calls) if the advertised prices of 18,991 are accurate and if there are any high dealer fees I should be aware of. Both times I was told that the prices are correct and there are no additional fees. Once I get there I go on my test drive and the salesman tells me the advertised prices are based on a $5,000 trade in and “that they couldn’t afford to sell these vehicles at these prices”. This dealer needs to be more upfront and honest in their advertising. Prices are not accurate . I am happy to say I bought my mustang convertible at a much more ethical dealership. I wish I could give them zero stars but one is the minimum ! ... BUYERS BEWARE !!!

Drove all the way from west palm beach to find out the car is not available after calling 3 times for confirmation. The 3rd time was 30 minutes before I left to head to the dealer. Listed price with the “no-down payment” promotion was flipped when I was asked to pay 5k down for a car that cost 5k. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!

I'm from NY called about a dodge chager and the woman told me I needed to come to Florida to talk to the manager about the price that they don't discussed pricing over the phone. I couldn't even get a straight answer from her. I'm not traveling all the way to Florida just to be told a price of a car. What if I don't like the price, that's a waste of money and time. Seems like they don't care about customers time and effort just MONEY! Sucks too because I would cave bought the car if they weren't so shady!

Customer Service was polite, but all they could do is schedule a test drive; they were the only one's I ever spoke to. I called several times and requested a call from a sales person, manager, or someone knowledgeable about the vehicle, but I never received a call back. I live in Pensacola and was strongly interested in purchasing one of their vehicles. While other online vendors have a system to purchase long distance this did not appear to be the case with this dealer-a little disappointed because I found what I wanted.

Buyer beware!!! This is a typical bait and switch dealer that advertises cars at a discounted rate and lies to customers when they inquire about a car over the phone. Once you arrive at the dealer they will tack on an additional $5,000 above the advertised price unless you finance the car. Having read all of the negative reviews about this business I was hesitant to go see a car there at first. Prior to going I called and spoke with Violet over the phone and she confirmed the car that I was interested in was available at their 42 ave location. I confirmed with her over the phone twice that the advertised price of $17,391.00 for the car was the same price whether the car was purchased outright or financed and she assured me that it was. Once I arrived at the dealership I had to wait for about 15 minutes before I was ever able to speak with someone. Finally one of the salesmen sat me down and prior to showing me the car gave me the bait and switch line. Filing complaint with BBB.

We contacted the dealer ahead of time to make sure they had the vehicle. The "Internet Department" assured us that the vehicle was there. We went to the dealer only to find out that the car had been "out for service" for some time so was not actually available. We wasted about and hour and a half of our time on this false listing. They did not press us particularly hard to buy another vehicle so I suspect this issue was just an inefficient process rather than intentionally luring us to the dealership.

After reviewing online experiences with this dealer we decided it was wiser to drop our inquiry with them. They advertise a "too good to be true" price because they add 25% down payment to it once you're in the process. Unethical. Best to avoid them.

Updated: After reading prior reviews I had some basic questions... The first was the out-the-door price of the car. This has nothing to do with financing... The sales person that I spoke with on the phone said the price of the car would change based on my credit since the bank CHARGED them for financing! Are you kidding? Priceless! I made it very clear this was not my first car purchase but it did not phase her a bit. I also asked "where do you keep the sunroof? In the trunk?" because this model of car was listed as having one... but it doesn't come with one from the manufacturer. This was something she could not confirm because she never called again. I guess I wasn't an easy catch.... Sadly, another misleading listing and a bait and switch to get you hooked and in a chair where you might just give up and sign. Maybe every salesman isn't this way but I've seen it before, it starts at the top! Do your research and be specific in your questions before you buy!!!

Classic bait and switch. We called twice before driving 400 miles round trip. The car was not there after they said it was. They tried to hi pressure sell us another car. All this after insisting that we fill out a bunch of paper work. Never going back. Buyer beware. REVIEW UPDATE Wow, Not even an apology. In fact they put it back on me. So lets be clear. I called the night before and an hour before I arrived. Both times I was told the vehicle was there. In fact the salesperson told me he actually walked out and checked to see if it was on the lot. Ever bought a car? Sure doesn't happen in an hour. In fact you cant even do paper work and test drive it in an hour. So to say that someone showed up, test drove, Filled out the paperwork, detailed it, and drove off with in an hour is insulting to everyone's intelligence. The manager told me the car was off the lot being prepped at different location and not available for sale. Not sold as they claim. Buyer beware.

This dealer is horrible and should be taken off this site. Almost every vehicle I asked about they didn’t have. They never said we will call you if we get something like or around same quality as this vehicle or anything. Just said we don’t have and have a god day.

I went in to trade in my car and I asked about the price that was advertised and Eddy keeps telling me not to work about the price. We go inside where they tell me the price listed does not include almost $4,000 down, I should have walked out but we agree on a price and I sign all of the documents and I leave the dealership with the truck. 2 weeks later I get a call from Mario, the finance manager and he leaves a message saying that the original documents came in from the bank and I have to go in to sign them. In the meantime, I get 2 calls from my old finance company saying that my car payment was past due. When I go back to the dealer and speak to another manager and I told him about my finance company calling and he tells me to make the payment and I should be reimbursed so then he presents me with a new contract with a higher interest rate and a new payment of almost $100 more a month. Long story short, they refuse to exchange vehicles and give me my deposit of $2,500.

My experience with this dealership was bad. Like several other reviewers have stated, the car they advertised on car gurus was not on the lot and they did not even have that car. Classic bait and switch. I will never think about doing business with Car Factory Outlet again.

The online advertised price on car gurus is $16,991. You go there and they will ask you if you have a trade in or how much you want to put down. I said $5,000. They then show you the retail price of the car you want which in my case was $21,991. Then they say after your $5,000 you will be financing $16,991 which is the advertised price. Such a scam!! Don’t go here! It was a far drive for me and a waste of my time. Wish they told me before I drove down they would hike up the price to whatever amount you’re going to put down.

I wouldn’t even give this dealer one star, Called about this car to check if it was available and a lady assured the car was there. When I got there the salesman started qualifying me for a loan before I could even get to see the car, I insisted on looking at the car twice while he was trying to run my credit check but he kept going back to discuss with “the manager”. After a few attempts, manager comes to me and says “That particular car is at certification right now”.... However if you note, the car has been on the market for close to 4 months and he is going to tell me it’s been certified now??? Come on people this is no more than a bait to make you show up and offer you something else! Not the proper way of doing business, they’re not serious people will make you waste your time! I’m not playing games I wanted to buy the car today, you guys just lost a customer!

Absolutely the worst experience. Do not even consider buying a car from them. Dont waste your time. BAIT & SWITCH. I called about the car, was told it was stiil available, and scheduled a time to go to the lot and was told to ask for Gill. I drove 1.5 hours, checked in and asked for Gill. He came out and said he was the manager and he would have a salesman meet with me. I waited 45 minutes until Ricardo finally came over to help. I gave him the stock # and he asked for my license, insurance and social security number (?) before he could show the car to me. After waiting another .5 hour, Ricardo came back and said the car was sold 4 days ago, but had other cars to show me. I refused and asked to speak with Gill. After waiting another .5 hour, Gill never appeared. I left but on my drive home I called to ask about that same car. They said the car was available and asked me when I would like to schedule a time to see the car. Continuing with the BAIT & SWITCH. By the way, its now been 1 week since the incident and CarGurus' and the dealer still have this "unbelievably priced" car for sale on their websites. Go figure.

I am 40 or so miles from your dealership. I ask what the best price you accept fog the car. Your reply was come in and make an offer. I was not going to go 40 miles and be rejected. Also the car said "as is" with no idea how much the offered warranty would cover and how much it cost. With no way to get the car inspected in your area, it ment I would need to make 2 to 4 round trips to make a deal on the car. Too much!!,

The only reason I rated it 2 was cause the car salesman seemed really nice don’t know if it was just cause I had been waiting for over an hour but it took me about an hour to get there from Deerfield once I arrived they told me they had to run my Id to make sure I’m good to drive the car witch I thought was fine it took over an hour to run my Id and when I told him I had to go to work he said the car is not there yet won’t be there till later in the week and asked if I wanted to drive something else instead I told him no and left with no car or test drive

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. When I got there all the sales staff were using there cellphones and completely ignored me. The car that I made an appointment to see was now sold and even though I made an appointment they did not think it was necessary to let me know ahead of time. Bait and switch comes to mind. The icing on the cake was when I told them what my budget was the answer was that I could use that for a down payment and finance the rest while trying to get me to commit to a more expensive option. Oh, almost forgot, the very young sales person also said that the price they lost their cars at is only the down payment price.

Worst car dealership ever! I found a Bmw that was advertised on carguru for $30,991. So I called asked if this the actual price of the car. The girl assured me this was the actual price of the car + taxes and tag. So I asked again if the advertised was the actual price to make sure because I had read so many bad reviews on them. So I schedule an appointment to see the car. When I show up there the day of the appointment the car wasn't there. They said the boss had taken for the weekend. Ok... when we started talking about the price the manager came in claiming that the advertised price is after a 25% down payment of $10,235 and that it says it in the disclaimer. No it doesn't!! Please stay away from these scammers and time wasters!!!! And now the owner will respond to this feedback with another lie claiming a miscommunication or misunderstanding.

Masters of scam, I went there for a 17 rogue that was listed $14,999 but after $5000 down payment that wasn’t stated any where in the add, on top of that the make you submit all your information before you even see the car, ran my credit before giving me the final price, and spend like 1 hours waiting for someone that can finally give me the $5000 down payment news. At about 12:01 AM 3/7/18 I emailed Auto Bank Liquidators, the dealer of a 2016 Chevoret Sonic Lt my interest in the car. A return email from the dealer was received at 12:11 AM. At 7:47 AM 3/7/18 I received a text message on my phone giving the dealer address as 5200 S. State Rd 7, Davie, FL. It said to ask for the Sales Manager and gave his name. The next message said 2016 Chevy Sonic LT. At 9:42 AM I texted, "Is the 2016 Chevy Sonic with VIN ending in 53626 available? If yes, I will come see it." They responded, "Yes it is". I drove to the dealership at about 10:40 AM and asked a sales rep to see the car. I was told that it had been sold. I complained that I had just been told that it was available. I was given an excuse that the response was automated by a system that had not been updated. I expressed my strong displeasure at being misled. I then spoke with the sales manager named in the initial text message. He explained that the price quoted was after a deposit of 25% of the total price and showed me a printout allegedly from the dealer's website to support this explanation. He said I needed to go by the fine print on their website instead of a listing seen elsewhere. I left in total disgust at being given this dishonest explanation. When I got home, I looked up the car on the dealer's website and found that it was still listed, as confirmed by the price and the VIN. There is nothing on the website to support the sales manager's claim that the listed price is after a 25% deposit. This dealer lied twice. First by saying the car was still available, and second by saying the listed price was after a 25% deposit. I warn other car shoppers to take their business elsewhere and to ask what fees in addition to the listed price are required except for state mandated fees.

very shady. finance vs. cash price differed by $6,000. Claim they're non negotiable since they are repossessed cars and owned by the bank, but as soon as I saw the ridiculous offer I stood up to leave within seconds. When I shook hands and got up to leave, he said "you don't even want to negotiate?" I thought this was a "non negotiable price"....quoted me $1,000 for my car without even going outside to look at it. complete waste of time waiting for the worst offer I received in the entire car buying experience. Our initial employee who showed us the cars available was very nice; other than that, easily the biggest waste of time and gas driving from West Palm. The only reason i gave one star was because i couldn't save my review without a star rating.

I called the dealer before going to make sure they had the car I wanted and that the price and the "no fees policies" were real. They told me the price was as published on cargurus and gave me the adress of the branch located in Davie. I went there and, even though the salesmen were very kind, after an hour and a half they told me the real facts: The price they publish on cargurus is the amount to finance when you make a down payment of 5k (this is not stated anywhere on what they publish on car gurus or their website). After the fees, which they do charge even though they state on the web they dont, the price of the car i wanted was $19.688 when the published price was $11.991. Very dissapointed and a complete waste of time.

This dealer is advertising this 2013 mustang for 9,891. The salesman didn't know they had the car. I had to tell him to include give him the stock number then. He claimed that it was already sold and there was a deposit placed on it. It was my intention to pay cash for this car but he claimed that the car was 25% more and really 11,500 or something. He said everyone advertise the price lower that it is. This is completely unacceptable and they should be reported to the bbb

A previous customer left  a deposit of 25% to put a HOLD on the vehicle. I believe this is where the confusion arises, and this is what the Sales Rep was most likely referring to... Very poor. I wanted to see the car and to know the final price before filling out a questionnaire and having the salesman asking me financial questions. I told the salesman multiple times not to run our credit until we knew the price out the door. Finally the finance managee comes in with the price 7k over listed and they ran our credit anyways. I will never to there again.

No one will give me anything in writing they just keep sending generic email responses. I have called in also and they just tell me I need to email or come to the dealer but I live hundreds of miles away. This dealer is a total SCAM! I had read previous bad reviews and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I called the dealer and they answered. Told me the car was available but at another location over 40miles away. As I was in the phone with them I received a text message from 'supposedly' the salesperson I was speaking with. He sent me the new address of the dealer. I was looking at a Ford F-150 and was specifically asking if it had the options I required. He answered yes to all of them. I kept emailing him and asking to please assure me that the exact truck I was looking for would be waiting for me at the dealer. He assured me it was. When I finally drop almost an hour across town and got to the dealership. I realized that the person I was communicating with doesn't even work in the location. I asked to see the truck and of course it was the BAIT AND SWITCH where they showed me a completely different truck for almost $5,000 more. When I showed him the back and forth messages where they assured me the truck would be at the dealership they gave me the old lie of "we just sold that truck yesterday" Total scam and waste of time. I would NEVER recommend anyone wasting their time. I'm SURE the only positive reviews are entered by themselves. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

Terrible. The price advertized for their cars is 25-30 percent under their real price. When they get you in their store they explain the adverized price is only the amount to be financed after you pay 25-30 down payment. So rather than being under market, they are way overpriced. The first time I visited there I called ahead to make sure the 2 cars I was interested In were still there. When I arrived I was told they both were sold. I went back the following weekend and both cars were there. Nobody ever called to follow up. I was interested in one of them but needed new tires. I made an offer $500 less then the asking price. Because of tire replacement. The salesman never presented my offer and the was told the car sold the following day full price. A responsible dealership would not have let the car leave the lot with the tires in the condition they were in. They do have decent prices from what I saw. But i was extremely disappointed in their business practices. I would not go back there if they were giving cars away!

My experience at first was okay then we got to the vehicle find out the vehicles already sold the gentleman went inside came back out about 5 minutes later and told me they will give me a call back on Tuesday regarding the vehicle and today is Sunday no response from anyone regarding this transaction

I went last Sunday and was completely ignored , so I went across the street and bought same car at a better price and was not ignored ! I'm sales freak cause I do it for a living , to be completely ignored by a sales team looking at there phones instead of selling cars .

drove from Homestead with an appointment to see a specific vehicle they had advertised when I got there they did not even end have it said it was out for certification and would call me when it came in 3 weeks ago worst car dealer I have ever seen and I am 65 yrs old so I have bought several cars in different states. Be very carefull with their pricing before you even get there. They use hidden disclosures to add (in my case) $5,000 on the car the very las minute on we where reviewing the financing. Not only that but they never gave 1 clear number, when they presented the detail it was divided in three different ammounts. If you have time, like risk and puzzles when buying a car this is the place to go...

From experience, many times when there are credit challenges, finance institutions will require a higher down payment, or certain fees, in order to finance the individual. These terms and fees are not decided by us, but by the bank or credit union that is actually financing the buyer.
