The price of the car was good. However, 1. the battery died very quickly after I bought the car and had to be replaced out of my pocket. 2. They charged very high dealer fees, like almost 1k 3. The service was incredibly slow and the car wasn’t even cleaned for me. Overall I’m happy with my car but the dealership is one of the most irritating dealerships that I have ever worked with. I would not recommend CMD unless you find a very good deal. 2.5 stars.

It started out nice then it went south due to an new salesman not knowledgeable regarding the required paperwork s. I had to signed the required paperwork several times. The first salesman dropped me like a HOT potatoes with no reason as to why he dropped me. and decline to acknowledge me when I returned back to the dealer ship after a new salesman took over the completions of the sale. The new salesman was very nice and knowledgeable regarding the required paperwork. He even called the next day to see how we like the car.

If I could leave a negative rating I would looked at the kia Rio for $5999 I was looking for a car for my son ask for a cash price was told it was $8000 dollars asked why so high they said fees I asked what fees they gave me a list of fake fees like $500 origination fee and $495 paperwork fee they also tryed to charge me a license fee even though it had a license and tags already don't buy from this dealership only trying to steal your money

Dealer responded to my request for info but ignored my requests for photos. The car had been in an accident and there were no details provided upon my request either. They stated I had to come in person if I was a serious buyer. I stated I wanted visual proof of damages before I would drive that far to come see it. Overall they did answer my email fairly quickly but the answer wasn't complete in my opinion.

Ask 3 times to buy the times. Refused to tell me the full price (tx, lic, dealer fees) so I could bring a cashiers check. My guess they make thier profit with extras and financing...

Horrifying! The cars had either been in accidents or strictly damage. Missing info on carfax. Changed price without notice. Didn't honor loan with bank they agreed to do business with. His deposit and harrassed me when asking for deposit back. Three men harassed me. Changed numbers with bank to cushion there end despite bank loan already approved. Added up to 4K to price of car. Without my consent sent loan thru to banks and financial institutes when I already had a loan.Threatened to send a voided contract thru. It was horrifying and I will tell the bank. I would not use them. They are why folks do not like care dealerships.

Unfortunately because of insurance being a pain every time it took all day, but Peter was very patient and thorough the entire day, even after I was the one who became a bit hangry. I was able to drive off the lot in my new purchase because of all his help. Great service

I had drove all the way from palm springs to buy this car for $9500. When I got there the car was perfect for me we sat down and starting talking, that's when the problems started. Car was $9500 on online, then the car was actually 10000. And then they wanted to add $2500 to the bill. I'm like no way for what? They said " for transport/delivery and for the guy to go to the auction and inspection." (were they bought it but I didn't ask them to get me a car so I don't believe I should have payed anything for that) it's there choice to buy car from the auction. I bought the car anyway after like 1 hour of negotiating because I needed it for work. THEY NEED TO BE UPFRONT ABOUT THE FULL PRICE OF WHAT THEY WANT FOR THE CAR.Especially if someone is driving far like 1 hr 45 mins far because had I know I would have gone.

There was only 2 sales person (that I physically saw) available on their sales lot when I arrived. One of them (Alex) was running around trying to help other customers while the other (Kenneth) stayed in the office. Waited about 30 minutes until finally Alex came out with the key to the vehicle that I was interested in. He just gave me the key to the vehicle, told me to go check it out (on my own) and then left! I could have drove off with the vehicle without them knowing! Generally, I always expected your salesperson stays with you during the entire visit? I was hoping my salesperson would return to answer some of my questions but he was no where to be found. I finally talked to Kenneth in the office to see if we could make a deal. Seem like he was in a rush or helping another customer since he had no time to have a conversation. There was a lot of issues with the vehicle and I wanted to see if we could make a deal but all I was told they will try and fix any mechanical issues within 5 days and I had to come back! Issues such as AC not cold, cracked windshield, minor body damage and torn upholstery to name a few. I don't understand why they are selling a vehicle with these issues before fixing it? Due to my experience, I feel they offer bad customer service and they are not inspecting their vehicles thoroughly before they show it to the public. I ended up leaving with a sour note about this dealership. The salesperson could have let me know he was with another client and let me know he will be with me as soon as he was free. I felt I was brushed off and to come back in 5 days. Reasonable prices but I'd shop somewhere else, pay a little extra with better customer service.

The dealership itself offered a wide variety of cars and the personnel were friendly and helpful, BUT..... I believe they are doing misleading advertising of their cars and giving false impressions of what the price is they are actually asking for their cars. They appear to list their cars several thousand dollars under the estimated value and then add on a bunch of "fees" at the end. I looked at a Subaru for $13k asking price and after theft protection and other "service fees" the total price of the car jumped to over $20k. In my opinion they are adding their profit or markup of the car as a "fee" after the fact, so if the car says $2500 under value, expect that amount will be added in the transaction. I've been trying to figure out how to "filter out" this particular dealer on my searches because I wouldn't do business with this dealer. It may appear they have the car you want at a low price but it won't be any less than What you should pay at market rate for the car. Good luck!

It looks like a great dealer untill u get to finance. $999 shipping and transportation $997 dealer fees $613 registration on top of sales tax And last but not least $380 theft. That would be around $3000 on top of the listing for u to finance. (Rip off)

Dealer was responsive but had several different sales reps reaching out instead of handing the lead to a single rep. This leads to consumer frustration due to all the unnecessary calls. On another note, I was highly dissatisfied with the "bait & switch" or hidden fees tactics this dealership deploys. Buyer beware, the price this dealer provides is very misleading. They stuff the price on the back end inflating the total price significantly beyond tax & licensing costs.

I would give them less than one star if I could. The first time we visited our sales consultant was pretty good, maybe three stars. The car has some issues so they took it the Ford Dealership for repairs, it was still warranty. Two weeks later it was back and we told we could come test drive it again. The problem was fixed and it was time for the sale to be closed. The price was way OVER the sticker price so I asked for the breakdown. They did NOT want to give it to me. It took them 10 minutes to me the price detail listing. They added $1,500 of BOGUS charges. $1,000 for dealer prep, $300 for "security features" they could not even tell be about and another couple of charges of a couple hundred dollars. I removed the $1,500 of extra charges and told them I buy the car for this price. The sales guy took my offer to the general manager and then came back to us and took another sales call while we sat there. Five minutes into listening to this other call, I got up and walked back to the GM. I said "are you accepting the offer"? and he said "No". I asked how far apart are we, and he said "No". So we walked out. We had a cash offer for them. While sitting there listening to the other sales folks, it occurred to me, the do not want cash offers or good credit clients. They are here to loan money to bad credit buyers. One of the items crossed off my offer was a $2,000 line item for credit risk. They make their money on interest and buyers who do not know to look at the details closely.

I drove out to this dealer, the lot was crammed full. There was no room to manuver around the cars to see them. Stanton looks like a dangerous area and there were cars lined all up and down the street so that there was no where to park near the lot. Everywhere you look there are "no parking" signs so we parked a couple blocks away. Since we drove a long way to get there we took the time to walk the couple of blocks from where we parked to check it out. We maneuvered around the cars to see the one I was looking for. No one asked us if we needed help or said anything to us. The car was closed in by so many other cars around it that I didn't see how they would be able to get the car out for me to test drive it anyway. When I looked through the windows, the car looked dirty inside. It didn't look as nice as the picture they posted. I wasn't impressed so we left.

The price they listed online is not the real. Price they bait and switch you. I will never step foot on one of those lots again. You should also not promote them being how dishonest they are. Google has them rays extremely low as well and the comments are the same!

I drove two hours to look at this vehicle ( which they knew before hand) and they wouldn't negotiate on the price. So if you see their internet add, don't expect them budge at all, especially if you are paying cash. I was only asking for $300. The car had three different brand tires and was missing the liner behind the back seat headrest.

Ken at cal motors direct was wonderful unfortunately, the day that I had arranged to drive up to los angeles with a second driver, so I could pick up/buy the car that I was dealing with was a bust. the car was on the 'lot' at 9am, but by 10am it was sent out for servicing and would not be back for the day can I come back after 5pm was not going to work, as I lost a days pay and had to pay someone to drive up with me .this after discussing 2 days earlier with assist manager Ken that I would wait until Tuesday, as Monday was his day off again Ken was solid

When I called for information on particular vehicle the "sale representative" did not know product, or it's availability, product knowledge and seemed to be not interested I have not visited the dealership for that reason

Salesman over the phone did not give much info... Asked that I call back for more info, instead of offering to have someone call me with the info I needed. Called back was on hold for quite a while, I gave up hung up figures they weren't taking my interest seriously
