The experience was great, I do wish the price was a tiny bit cheaper but all in all I ended up getting the car and it’s very beautiful! Was not a fan of waiting a long time to talk to the financial person tho.

Awful. Hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I have never taken the time to leave an online review either good, nor bad. I just couldn’t resist with these guys though. The salesmen couldn’t be bothered listening to a word I said. He was completely full of crap. The epitome of a used car salesmen. Brutal to get in touch with, rude, and wouldn’t even return phone calls when trying to negotiate the deal. I kick myself for not walking away right then. After the salesmen screwed up I ended up dealing with the sales manager. Over the course of 6 weeks I called probably 30 times trying to get them to fix an issue they committed to when I purchased the car with only 1 call answered or returned. Overall just an awful experience. I love the car I bought, but the whole ordeal leaves such a sour taste in my mouth that I can’t enjoy it like I should. I would never do business with them again and would strongly suggest anyone else brings their business elsewhere.

Great experience from start to finish. Our salesman Matheus was a joy to work with. The negotiating was as tolerable as you could hope for. We are thrilled with the vehicle and the trade value we received. 2 weeks after purchase, had some questions and minor issues, John in service was a pleasure to work with, and couldn't have been more helpful.

Heard bad things in previous reviews but had a positive experience.Very busy place so expect to wait a while.Nice cars at great prices. Sales associate and finance manager were easy to work with.No pressure sales.

Recently bought a car from here. Everyone Automax in Framingham that I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. They have a great selection of cars that seem to be priced fairly. One conversation with a sales person who called me. He did not come across--to me--to be very knowledgeable about the car I was inquiring about, and seemed a little put off by my questions ( but not rude). The dealer had two locations which were a significant distance apart, and that had not been posted in there ad. I was not satisfied and I will not call or pick out one of their cars again. It was a brief interaction, but one that did not inspire a feeling that it was a good place to take my business .

Natalie was fantastic to work with, and it was the quickest and easiest car purchase we've ever done. We love the mini cooper, it was exactly the car my husband wanted, and they were superb at getting him into it.

They responded in a timely manner. They even called the morning of our appointment to confirm. However when we arrived for our confirmed appointment the car was not at the dealers lot. They got the car there in about 1 hour. The salesman did not care to listen to our needs. He assumed he knew what we wanted. Because of this we did not purchase a car at this dealership.

my initial experience was good but the second call from the salesman was very rude and he wanted to make an end of month sale when I told him that I couldn't make it he didn't even say goodbye or thank you just hung up on me.

Went to dealership to complete transaction but their business practices do not allow for routine transaction. Sales person, Sales manager, and General manager all refused to provide Purchase and Sales documents to allow bank financing. The dealer clearly expects customers to finance through them. Don't waste your time.

I had a very pleasant experience overall with my salesman: he was friendly and not overly pushy. I had to put up with a seemingly expensive dealer/documentation fee ($600) and it was difficult to find a place to park, but the deal I got on the car I purchased (>$2,000 under market price) and the welcoming environment made up for it.

Don't go this place if you dont want to waste your time. Frist you deal with arrogant staffs, second you will get higher document fee 599 than normal. And they dont care about customer service. I walked away and decided to put my money on the other dealer at the same day.

It surprises me Automax is rated so poorly here. Perhaps there are some less than stellar employees, but I was lucky enough to work with a great salesman. John Brita really set the tone for my experience right from the beginning. With limited observation, even his desk was the most professional looking. He was organized, direct, and honest. I could sense his passion within the first five minutes of our encounter. He pulled the car around quickly for me and I had a great test drive, he was able to answer every question I had. When we worked numbers he broke everything down for me and told me he didn't want me to make any decisions until I was 100% confident. I admired him for this and at the end of the day, John was the reason I bought my Cadillac that day. The financing process went smoothly, and when I left John was extremely responsive via text. I have never had a better buying experience. I don't typically leave reviews but I felt it was unfair to not share my experience after John went above and beyond for me. I will buy any car in my future from John, no questions asked. I recommend him to everyone in the market, I am confident he will not disappoint.

I have the worst most disrespectful experience at this place I was pre-approved for E350 when I went there but a trade in they tell me that they can and pre-approved me for 400 a month but they can approve me for 500 a month which I never understand how can they know what the bank is going to tell me or tell them but they can prove me for they never tried fighting for me it was just a waste of time the the salesperson was Natalia she was just straight rude disrespectful never ever tried to get me the best deal for that vehicle I felt that they have lowered the price on a vehicle I'm $3,000 and there were trying to sucker me into giving it all back to them I will never spend any money or ever give them any money or waste my time with that place ever again I had tried to talk into a manager left multiple messages and they never got back to me very unprofessional place

I should have read the previous reviews and not even driven 5 hours to look at a vehicle at this dealership. I had same issue concerning the lake of information provided in email responses. When a dealership is unwilling to negotiate a price over the phone or provide a sales contract without showing up, is a red flag! The dealership did have the car on the lot, but would not take a debit card (cash) and wanted me to finance through them or use a certified bank check, which would be days getting. The dealership had only one key with the car, so I requested a second key or drop the price $300 and I would get my own. They declined. With this and the push for using their financing (likely hidden fees added to make money), I walked away. The following day the car’s price was lowered $1250. The salesman was rude and could have cared less in selling me the car, once I told him that I was paying cash and had no trade in. Any other reputable dealership would have worked with me and got the car sold, but not here, so be warned!

Worked with John Brita and Jean Carlo in finance. I was really nervous about my purchase because I've had poor experiences in the past but they made me feel completely comfortable. When I picked my car up it was spotless because John had it detailed for me. Ended up being a great experience!

The salesperson was very friendly, but the car about which we contacted the dealership was mistakenly listed and was actually at a completely different branch of Automax more than an hour away. The salesperson was apologetic, but it did mean a completely wasted trip for me and my daughter.

Went to this dealership and looked at a truck, left and went home. I called back later and found the mileage didn't reflect the Carfax and was told the Carfax is wrong. Also noticed a large tear in the frame and asked for them to check it out and send me a pic of it, they told me that I didn't see anything and there was no tear, sent me a lot of pics but none of the area that was damaged. Very dissatisfied with this pace..

Terrible communication. I asked specific questions multiple times which they did not answer. I did receive MANY automatic emails talking about how great they are with phenomenal customer satisfaction. And emails asking why I hadn't contacted them after my initial inquiry, even though I had several times. The only non auto-email was from a salesman who wanted to know why I didn't want a more expensive car. He did not respond to any of my questions. Stay away.

This place is awful. They were supposed to tinted my windows and do details on a 2017 jeep grand Cherokee limited i bought there, and they didn't do any of that. I called them and email so many times trying to get receipt of the work they did on the vehicle they never get back to me. On top of everything, the car broke down withing two weeks (currently in shop). DO NOT got there, this place is a scam

I contacted this dealership multiple times ready to buy car and all I get is a receptionist that cant give me details about payments and financing. They need to have a sales person call and no one calls. The whole phone system was down yesterday. I called multiple times... Very frustrating...the customer experience is lousy

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. They did not release my registration within the 7 day period as per RMV. My title for my trade in was cleared, but they still required me to put up the cost of the trade on my credit cards and would not release the registration to my new car until I did this. I had to dispute the charges to get the money back!

I was in contact with one of their internet specialists, Nicole. She was pleasant to deal with. I requested to speak with a sales manager to discuss the price of the vehicle but was informed this was against "company policy." I informed her that I was providing a cash offer so I just wanted to discuss the price of the vehicle with a sales manager before having to drive an hour to get there. After a couple back and fourths with her I was able to get her to provide me the price of the truck which was a higher figure than advertised on Car Gurus because I was not financing through one of their agents. This irked me a bit but at least they ultimately didn't make me drive an hour to be told this. Again, Nicole was pleasant to deal with and at the end was just doing here job of trying to get me to go to the dealer.

Major things went well enough. Had car I wanted at reasonable price. Dealing with them was often a hassle though. Kept saying car would be ready before it was. Charged me for an inspection sticker, despite not being able to conduct inspection.

I went to buy a car from this dealer and had a trade in great condition low miles. They wanted to give me $2,300 less than I owe. And under Kelly blue book. Then they increased the price of the car while I was trying to buy it. I also left messages and never got a call back. For the financing they wanted to me to lay 2% more interest than the rate at my local bank. Worst service I've had and have bought over 10 cars. There good prices are not worth it.

They have this quirky rule that if the car is in the showroom then you can not take it for a test drive.I was told you negotiate the figures and if there is agreement then you can drive it! Negotiate a USED car without driving it. Not a good policy. Without being able to drive it caused me to ask a bunch or question via email. NONE of my questions were answered. Good price, nice car , not so good dealer.

An amazing experience from start to finish. It was my first time buying a used car but my salesman, Raphael, did a great job of making me feel comfortable and answering every question I could think of. Their pricing is up front and easy to understand and I truly felt like I was getting the best deal out there. I sat with Mariana in finance and she was equally as professional and helpful. Ripoff notice!! I drove from western mass to look at this Enclave. The salesaman acted dumbfounded by the hail damage all over the hood and roof. I said who wouldn't notice this. He said you'd be surprised. It took me 1/2 the ride home to realize how ridiculous this salesman was to say this. Unbelievable!! In other words this will be back on the lot for some sucker. Don't be the one!! He then gets the manager who tells some story about buying this car from an auto body shop who was suppose to fix it. I asked if they inspected it before posting all these pics on line. Mind you its waxed and posted on the website yet he's trying to make me believe this is the first he's seen the damage. Oh another 6 inch gauge on right rear quarter. It amazes me this dealership is in business. Don't trust a word they say !!

I went to look at 2 cars. I confirmed 11 AM for 12 PM appointment same day. When I showed up (after driving 45 minutes) they said 1 car sold the day before and the second 1 hour before. It was extremely disappointing and I did feel that the cars weren't truly sold when they said. I wouldn't trust this dealership and I would definitely double check them before making a drive.

While we read the reviews to Automax, we thought this car was a good deal deserved a look. Made an appt, which was not recorded somehow so when we arrived car did not have any gas. Made the mistake of taking it out anyhow and ended up not even making out of the parking lot and stalling out on rt. 9. Nough said there said i think.

Worst car buying experience ever! Dealer lied and told me i could only get the advertised price if i financed at the dealership and tried to stick me with a crazy high rate (i had great credit). Finance guy, Dave, was abusive and yelled at me because i refused to take the high rate and pay $350 for out of state registration courtesy fee, on top of the car delivery fee and bs doc fees of $595. Salesman Dwayne promised he'd have the car delivered for $100. After the purchase everyone stopped returning calls and they made up excuses as to why they couldn't deliver the car. It took them a week and a half to even make an extra key and get the car ready. These guys are not trustworthy. Go someplace else. What little you may save is not worth the hassle.

Automax provided a stress free buying experience. I also really liked the Smartprice option, where they dramatically reduce the purchase price if you finance through their approved banks.This all means that you get a great price without having to haggle. They took care of everything, so that when I purchased the car it was like brand new. There was slight imperfection on a key button in the car and when I pointed it out they replaced it at new additional charge to me. The sales agent was very helpful too. All in all, a great experience. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and will be back when it is time to get my next car.

The dealer got back to me and we set up an appointment. We went and saw one of the cars I wanted to test drive. The car was clean and no issues. I requested another car two years older but the car was in for service, so I have another appointment to see and test drive on another date. So far all good. I finally got to test drive the 2013 and am satisfied with the car as my choice. Working with Ian is a pleasure and he is down to earth and takes the time to inform and get back to you with any info available. I'm taking delivery of the car on monday after waiting for a part and mats.

Horrible!!! Drove 5.5 hrs to get hear to purchase what I saw on line and even went to the bank before hand. Turns out they could not sell the car because they did not have the title yet and failed to mention or show in the add that the quarter panel on the drivers side was damage. Parking is hell there. I have bought 32 cars in my life and will never buy from here. What a waste of time. Cars on the lot are beautiful and high end but who knows if you can buy it that day or wait a week like I was told.

I asked in four emails if they would tell me the brand of the lift kit installed on the Jeep. The sales person would answer that he was too busy and would try to look later. Then suggested I come to the dealership to look. He could have crawled underneath and looked quicker than it took him to write me one email!!

A bit of a mixed bag with this dealer! They contacted me right away (2x by phone & an email & by text) I did set up an appt to see vehicle and was then contacted by phone to confirm 2x the morning of plus sent a text telling me who to ask for. I was greeted by the salesman assigned to me we talked about the car etc., went out to look at it for a test drive but then I was told that he had another client and someone else was doing my test drive - ok! I thought - but when test drive was done I was told my original person had to deal w a client & the test drive guy was going to work w me!!! That was a little annoying but stuff happens!...So I end up deciding to buy and am told that he is still waiting on the title but i can get started so next stop is the finance guy after waiting almost an hour I go in to finish deal. Unfortunately that was the last time I saw or spoke to my 2nd salesman. Three days later I called to just get an update and after getting a call back he said he would check on title & price (since price for car on paperwork was diffferent then price agreed to...) and call me back - well NO call - I called next day & was told he tried calling me 3x but I didnt answer which is hard to believe especially since there was no voicemail either & the finance guy called me same day w NO problem!! Nevertheless the salesman said he was still waiting on title but the finance guy had told me the title came in the day before !!??!! ...I explained that to salesman who said he "wasn't aware" & the car was not ready until possibly next day (now 5 days since purchase). Here's the thing a simple call to update from the salesman would have been better business its like once they reel you & get your business you're on your own when it should be the other way!!! All the calls to get me there then none initiated by salesman when done, its disappointing!! To be clear, I wasn't expecting car to be ready when I called but keeping the customer up to date on status of the vehicle they purchase only takes a second & should be a priority!! The 2nd salesman seemed to be eager to make deal but not to keep up with his clients after. I shouldnt have to do all the follow up when I just spent $$ with your business! .....I heard more from the finance guy then the salesman. I wonder when I would have been contacted if I didn't.

I set-up an appointment in the morning and drove 45 minutes to the dealership. Met with a salesman who after a short time, told me the car was in the body shop for some "work".....he was apologetic and followed-up with me two days later when the car was back. By that time, I had lost interest and also checked reviews on Yelp that detailed many similar problems with this dealer.

The car has many issues when I bought it. The hood was broken and it needed 4 breaks. They said the breaks where new...they where not. I also had issues with the rims all four rims where bent and it needed new tires. The tires where new fyi but had a bad road force. Took the car to BMW and they verified all of this and fixed my hood and breaks. Went back to automax and they tried to fix the rims. They then found the front wheel bearing was bad and I noticed the AC was not working correctly. It went back to the BMW dealer to do the work. The car is better now but still has slight road issues. I will be contacting the dealer ship again. They have been friendly on getting things fixed and responsive for the most part. But, i did buy the car on a Monday and it spent an entire week at a shop. I know more about cars than the average person and found these faults but, other may not have. Buying a used car is still buying a used car. Unless its certified preowned you need to be careful what your getting. I did get a decent deal on the car and it cosmetically its in great shape.

They lied! Made an appointment to see car drove 2+ hours in Saturday traffic. Finally got there, was told sales rep was in another building, waited, then told that he has been out for a few days hmm talked to him Thursday hmm So another salesman came over, told him what vehicle, he looks it up in computer, Great all is happy "let me get the key" waited again. Was offered delicious popcorn! Waited waited waited.. He comes back to tell us car has been sold!! Strange made the appointment looked it up in computer but is was suddenly sold..this walked out of dealership. Drove 2 hours home not to happy! Received a phone call the man wanted to know why I missed the appointment ..told him I went you said you sold the car!!! waited on phone he comes back to say oh we got a deposit the buyer is going to bring his mechanic to check it out if he doesn't want it you can buy it .. Answer was No way Not Interested! Now that is a total bait and switch! Terrible business practice.. The vehicle was still listed I wrote to them under a different name that night they write back and said oh yes when do you want to see it.. Wrote back and said meet me half way ...surprise they could not to that.. Bait and fish dealership!! If you want free popcorn go there that's the only good thing! I would rate them a -10

This was the worst car buying experience ever! Not only did the salesman lie many times his manger as well as the general manger lied to me about the delivery day, Each day the answer was that I would get the car the next day. It took them a week to deliver the car. Save your money and buy some where else. In the event you did buy a car and have issues contact the lending institution in my case TD Bank and lodge a dealer complaint. Only after TD Bank contacted the dealer did I get my car. BUYER BEWARE!

They are very terrible specially their finance person ,they just never explained you clearly how much they are charging you for doc fees and others and will add random packages like GAP even without your knowledge and they will have you sign all those papers without ever discussing that if you even want those packages. Instant communication from the time I submitted my inquiry. Received prompt and professional follow-up from members of the dealership team. Wasn't able to take a test drive due to personal scheduling conflicts otherwise I would have.

Sales person friendly. The no haggle price was reduced the next day. Car needed to have jumped starter twice and the vehicle did not have all the advertising amenities.

Rooked me on the trade in a several hundred, versus other (older) quotes, but the price paid was good. "No negotiation pricing" is used there. Saves time. Car Gurus price rating seemed consistent.

The sales person did not prepare any information about the car i inquired about. Also, he has very limited knowledge about cars. He made me traveled there just to realize that my car wasn't ready to test drive.

Best complement: I purchased the car from them. All aspects of my experience with AutoMax Preowned was above my expectations. They were honest, their products were as good or better than their advertisements, and they were incredibly professional yet warm. Kudos to Issac, Kevin, and Aiden in sales, and Mike R. in finance. They all worked together to make purchasing my new (gently used) MB SLK300 easy, as well as got me the best value for my trade, and an awesome loan with a surprisingly low rate. They are now my go to destination the next time we are ready to buy a car.

The car we looked at had serious damage and was patched up and put out on the lot looking like new, after researching this vehicle we found one side of the car had been replaced, anyone thinking of purchasing a car from this store should do a CarFax...

They responded, and we went there because they had a great selection of the cars we wanted. In fact, we got our car there. The employes were very nice and the car is in pristine conditions. We got it a a very good price. The after sale communication has been a bit slow, but they have responded well after some prodding.

Outstanding experience beautiful inventory informative sales team. Paul Decarlo was very helpful and quickly found the right Mercedes for me. Management and financing was professional and a pleasure to deal with. I easily finance my car with Dan Johnson. I look forward to doing more business with Automax Preowned in the near future
