The dealer sent me what seemed to be an automated text, i answered with no reply even 2 weeks later
Too much game in pricing I was told 2 different prices....My daughter seen this Jeep and I was without her knowing gonna surprise her with it.I was told by 1 person could charge card the Jeep but they have a limit on how much I can charge on my card...Then someone else said ohhh no cash only on that jeep....I never had so much confusion on a used car purchase as here with this place... It's fine and I am glad it was me given the ring around and not my Daughter

Bait and switch. Prices advertised online are with all possible discounts and more. Add at least $3,500 to online prices and then you would be closer to the pricing.

Showed interest in this and told them we were coming to look at it. It was awful, never cleaned inside, duct tape holding things together. Belongs in junk yard

I received an email that this particular car was available. When I went there to see it, the salesman knew nothing about it. He indicated that they would not sell any car that cheap. ($1100). So I presume the ad was simply a hooker to get into the showroom and upgrade you to a more expensive car.

Heather was very nice. She was my contact at the dealer. I don't think the dealership was upfront with the condition of the car on the website. They should have put what was wrong with the car. Glad I didn't have to drive to far to see it.

Everyone was nice and helpful, however, the dealer fees were outrageous!
The advertised $3,995 vehicle ended up over $6,000! I did talk them down to
$5,490. My other son purchased a vehicle about 3 weeks earlier from a
dealership in Pennsylvania that had an advertised price of $3,990 and the
final price after all taxes, tags and fees was only $4,692. The salesman had a
good day at our expense!

The dealer contact experience was professional and concise, unfortunately the used car I was looking at was not what I was looking for.
Yes, the Director of Business Development contacted me immediately and
so I visited the dealership the next day. I had a pleasant experience with the
sales staff who took me for a test drive. The low point of my visit was when
the GM became very rude to me during the negotiation process. I felt
insulted by him. He came across as unstable, and so I decided to keep calm.
After my experience with the GM I was ready to walk out, but the customer
service I received from the other sales managers won me over. I bought the
car! I would have given a 5 star rating but my interaction with the GM left me
disappointed.

We had a wonderful experience at Toms River Volkswagen. The team was
extremely helpful, courteous, pleasant and very professional. They have
great prices, the best from all of New York and New Jersey. I highly
recommend this place. They provide superb customer service- very
impressive.
-The dealer was quick to respond to my inquiry
-Tom was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and he thoroughly
explained the conditions of the vehicle. He was very precise on his
explanation.

While i ended up not purchasing the vehicle i was looking at, the Sales Mgr. Was very up front and honest about the vehicle i ws interested in. In the end, the vehicle was not the right fit and was being sold “as is”.
Dealt with Tony on a used Hyundai for my Aunt. I told him I was driving 2
hours to come see the car so he put me on hold to see the car was
physically still on the lot even though his inventory told him it was. He was
great and made my Aunt feel welcome and treated very fairly. Definitely
made this an easy buying experience.
Awful waist of time. I told internet mgr I was traveling 1.5 hours to see
there car. When i got there the car was covered with dents from a hail
storm. It shouldn't even be on the market. Should have a salvage
title.Nothing in the photos or the dealer description mentioned this
condition. There was also damage to the front and rear bumpers not
shown. Should be a no star rating!

Toms River VW were professional and friendly. I had a pleasant experience. They were not pushy to make the sale, but were responsive in answering questions pertaining to the 2015 Highlander Limited that I ultimately purchased. I felt comfortable through the purchase process. I did not finance the vehicle.

They were reluctant to have me inspect the vehicle by a 3rd party. The
salesman gave me a "run-around" that they have to check with the
manager whether or not that is allowed which is completely absurd. When I
asked for customary copy of the vehicle inspection completed by the
dealer, they assured me that it was completed and would forward it to me,
but never did. More specifically, the sales woman, in this case, suggested
there was "no reason" to be asking for information on the history of the
car's maintenance records not provided by Carmax. She was really rude
and pushy. When I did, finally get the 3rd party vehicle inspection
completed, the car had been in a flood and I realized then, why the
salesman and woman were so shady. Btw...I just purchased same make,
model, and year from another dealer in another state.

Responded to my inquiry a bought buying s car but only give you limited information.
Car fax showed 1 accident and it was the owner who traded car in .
I asked to see if I could get info as far as how bad car was or what was needed to get it fixed .
Basically kept giving me the run around and said car was prefect ?
Told them I'll pass on the car .p

Remember to always check the dealers website or call to confirm the price before driving out to go see a car. They listed the car at $16,227, but that's AFTER YOU PUT $2,000 down, so in reality the car was $18,227. It's a bit dishonest, but that's why you should always check the dealers site.

There is nothing worse than an automated message via e-mail. I made an offer, it was declined. However, I received several e-mails following that constantly asking me to come in for a test drive of the same vehicle. It's as if they forgot that they already corresponded with me. There was nothing they did that made it seem personal at all.
Stay away from this dealership. Almost every car on the lot is marked up at least $3000.00 over
the market price (You can look it up!) Found some that were even priced $1000.00 over their
internet "salesprice". Salesman (Dennis) asked us to "give him a few minutes" while he filed
some paperwork. After almost an hour, it was apparent he was in no rush to sell us a car. The
wait was not in vain, however, as it gave us the opportunity to witness customer after customer
walk out in disgust after their own salesman tried the "bait and switch" moments before signing on
the dotted line. One of those salesman, after failing to seal the deal, spent the next several
minutes making personal phone calls (loudly debating which bootleg DVD he'd watch later on
that night) while customers stood around waiting for someone to help them. When I approached
this guy and asked him if he had a minute to show us a couple of cars we were interested in, he
said, and I quote, "uhhhh, ummmm, No I don't have time. I THINK my manager MIGHT have
something else for me to do". There are plenty of other dealerships in the area...don't waste your
time on this one.
