Very responsive and helpful in answering questions.
Was talking to a sales lady and told her where I wanted to be and she would not budge an inch on their price. Two days later they lowered it enough to get below my price and did not notify me. It was sold the next time I inquired about it. I felt that was wrong on not letting me know, but what is really wrong is they started emailing and texting daily asking if they could help with my search. I had to block all their numbers to get it to stop. That in my opinion is ridiculous. So be aware if you contact them they may help or may not but if they don’t they will drive you crazy trying to get your business back.

We are a No Haggle store, this is clearly advertised all over our online listing as well as plastered in huge letters on our front door of our building. The sales people have no control over our vehicle pricing and they do not know when prices are being changed. They were helpful. I took the car for a test drive on a Saturday. Only issue was the screen wouldn’t work but they told me they’d fix it if I promised to but it. I told them I’d come back for it the following Tuesday, and when I talked to them about it Tuesday they acted as if everything was good. Told me I’d have to wait for the vehicle to be fixed, I was cool with that. Then proceeded to say I might have to give them a $500 payment to hold the vehicle and I told her I wasn’t gonna give them $500 because I wasn’t leasing the vehicle I was providing them with a check for the full amount. The screen supposed to work on any vehicle, they aren’t the auction. So the next day she texted me that she’d sold the vehicle.

Ranata, our company policy to hold any vehicle for a customer whether it needs work done or not is a $500 partial payment deposit. Your sales person was trying to protect you and hold that vehicle for you so that it wasn't sold to another buyer. We sell alot of cars and we sell them very fast. Initial Interest Rate that was offered was at 16%.....credit score is 761.........we were told that was a good
rate for our credit score.......The Interest rate was basically hidden till I asked what the rate was for the
payment that was presented by the salesman.......eventually, the rate came down to 8.49% from 18% with
no other terms/parameters changing....... PLUS the dealership is Adding $995 for Lojack(only 1 year of service) and there is no option to
decline the Lojack system from this dealership. Thus, we will not be buying a car from this dealership!

Called them about a vehicle I was interested with. As soon as I told them I was pre approved for financing they raised the price 1000 dollars and rather than trying to work a deal to sell the vehicle they all just want to argue about the price and not trying to earn a customer. Very unprofessional

At TLC Motors we offer a $1000 discount for obtaining financing through our lenders. Our customers are more than welcome to use their own personal bank for financing or pay cash, but they obviously wouldn't receive the $1000 in finance bonus cash toward their deal. We aren't "raising prices" or hiding anything. We advertise this pricing as well as any fees on all of our listings.

Made an appointment to see this vehicle. I was td the vehicle would be gassed up and ready for me to test drive it. I left work and drove 40 mins only to be told by a sales person that the car sold weeks ago. Waste of my time and gas.

Wasted my time. Drove over an hour to view and purchase a truck. Appointment was confirmed before leaving the house. When I arrived, I entered the facility to see everyone watching The Avengers. Then it was a who wants to take care of this customer. Not very professional about it. Asked about the truck and the truck was no where to be found. The salesman that did try and help me made a couple calls and sent me to the detail shop 6 minutes away where it was at because, "all our vehicles go to the shop before we show them. So then I drove to a place called the machine shop where they said the truck would be that it would be outside if I wanted to see it, that it shouldn't be locked. I arrive at the detail shop after leaving TLC motors and look for the truck. Still no where to be found, did I really just drive over an hour with 3 kids for no reason? Why yes, yes I did. If you value your time and money I would suggest another dealership.

The car was junk due to severe engine problems. Sales did the best they could given the dog they were trying to sell. Seemed apparent the person who followed up with a call to me, knew nothing about the terrible condition of this automobile. I won't likely waste time looking at any cars TLC advertises for sale.

car for a smoke smell they both said no. And it was
quite obvious that it had been smoked in for decades!! I

The Dealership responded quickly and gave me the low down on the vehicle.
Extremely dissapointed. The car has a title issue and this was not explained at all in the add. The only reason I knew about the issue was because my local bank informed me while trying to get pre-approved before making the 5 hour trip to see the car. Then I asked the dealer what was the issue and was told “Im not sure.” So theyre selling a car with title issues and they dont know what the issue is. Sounds pretty shady if you ask me.
My son sent info he does not get a normal check stub which he sent one from employer and was told to come on down but when we arrived we were told couldn't use that stub. We had 500 down and was going to lose that because his stub was not a regular check stub.i think he should have been told at the time he received the information that the stub was not accepted instead of us driving from KY to SC to buy the truck.

Quick, not all equipment I needed
I called to ask about a truck I saw online and spoke to Christian. He had the truck pulled up front and handed me the keys to test drive as soon as I got there. Christian and the whole staff were very nice. A great up beat group of guys. The buying process was quick. They offered an extended warranty but didn't try and push it on me when I declined.
Great group of guys, from the internet salesman, the other salesmen and the owner.
However I learned a valuable lesson today. I live 4 hours away and drove over to SC
because I really thought I wanted this particular vehicle. I even put down $500 to secure
it because it was “hot” and people were inquiring, wanting to purchase it, but were trying
to work out financing and or cost, test drove it regularly etc. I have no reason to
believe any of this was not true , but learn from me:
• If you’re not in the city-at least go to a local dealership or lot to get a look at what
you are interested in before driving all that way
• It’s better to take your chances even if they say, “ It probably won’t last another
day.”, and spend under $50.00 for a round trip to go see it and it not be there-than to
spend $500 to secure a vehicle even though you’ve only seen pictures and have not
physically seen it, but then you don’t like and the $500 you put down is not refundable-
but what if they sale it

My salesman was very nice upon expecting The car there was only one key a new key will cost around $300 no owners manual that would be close to $200 the drivers door panel needed to be replaced that be about $200 I tried to negotiate a better price they did come down but not what I thought it should be but overall I’m very happy with what I got

Purchasing process was fast and easy. I live out of state and were very helpful from start to finish. Unlike most dealerships, i left feeling they were honest and on the up and up.
I was contacted by text and a phone call. the vehicle wasn't available to look at due to it being in the shop. During the time I was waiting for it to become available I saw the price jump up and received a phone call on a Friday that someone else made a deposit on it so I continued to look elsewhere for another one. I recieved a text the following Monday asking if I was still coming to check it out. I text back stating what I was told on Friday. it just sounds like they had a little loss of communication. I did find the same vehicle on Car Gurus at another dealer for nearly $2k less and made the purchase.
I traveled 2hours to pick the truck up and finish the paperwork. When we arrived the truck was nowhere to be found. Said it was at another lot getting the bumper replaced. They tried to sell me another truck I absolutely did not want. They pulled the old bait and switch on me. These guys are shysters. Bad business. I'd NEVER recommend them to my worse enemy. They don't deserve the 1 star for this review but it will not post otherwise.

Sorry but the vehicle you inquired about was a local trade that was stated to be sold as-is. These cars do not meet the standards of the rest of our late model low mileage inventory and they do not go thru our shops. Customers have to inspect those vehicles for them selves and make their own buying decision. We cannot help you make an informed buying decision or our cheap cash as-is cars.
I would put zero stars if I could. I had contact with this dealership for a week about a specific car and filled application with all necessary information. I was told that I was approved so I put $500.00 to hold car since I lived 2 hours away. I went in but the salesman that I have had lots of conversations with was not there. The person that helped us had no idea what I was talking about. Absolutely not his fault in any way. He was extremely nice and worked hard to satisfy our needs. I was completely disgusted when the financial manager came in with a very cocky attitude and in short told me I have to have 4,500 at least to put down payment. After I was told by his son the salesman I had talked to for a week that I needed 2,065 for down payment. The father (financial manager) was extremely rude and unprofessional, He told me that if I don't want to business with him then go somewhere else to buy a car. All in all a very distressing and uncomfortable situation... VERY UNPROFESSION

Drove over an hour on Saturday of Florence storm to look at car here, car had a front end problem we couldn’t quickly identify. Dealer was going to check on it when shop opened Monday. Car came with warranty but dealership is just too far from home to deal with a repair problem. Fair pricing on the car we looked at.

The dealer contacted me for the first time after several days with an odd message that they had been trying to reach me. I am not sure how since no e-mail responding to my questions was ever received by me. They certainly had my correct e-mail address. I reiterated my questions, but after finally responding by saying they would look into the issue, there was no further response. A week later I received another e-mail asking why I hadn't communicated further. The issue of concern was serious and I am amazed at the lack of any e-mail from them responding to my questions. I have subsequently bought a vehicle somewhere else.

Looked for months for a Ford Ranger 4x4 Extended Cab, finally gave up!! They were too high or wore out. But, I went back online to look again and not only found what I was wanting and a great price at TLC Motors. So me and my wife drove down out of state and Dave came to us and said take it for a long test drive. I came back and Dave got me a better interest rate than I could get at my own bank!!!!! Good old trick of advertising a good car for a low price just to lure people in.... then saying "this vehicle was sold but we have something else". 3K more expensive and with a questionable Carfax...

Drove over an hour to see a specific car which I was assured was there. Found out the car was "sold late last night" (didn't believe that for a minute). I was willing to look at other cars on the lot because they seemed to have a decent inventory. The salesman insisted that he run my credit before even showing me any cars because "that's how we do it here". I was insulted by this and decided to leave.

Jerry was looking at a 2015 Toyota Corolla L that was labeled incorrectly as a Corolla S. When we upload our vehicles information into our system all information is automatically decoded by the vin number and information is automatically populated by this system. Every once in a blue moon incorrect information is automatically populated on our website. However, we do add over 60 photos of each vehicle and you could clearly tell that this vehicle did not have the S package.
