I found the exact car I was looking for at Strong VW. I’m in California so as soon as I expressed interest they went out and took a comprehensive video of the interior and exterior of the car and sent it to me. They provided me with an “out the door” price that was acceptable and I placed a deposit to hold the car. I made arrangements to fly to Salt Lake City in a couple of days. and I was picked up at the airport by the dealership in the car I was purchasing. It was exactly as described and I was on my way back to California in a short time.

Cameron never called back we kept calling and texting him but he would never do much more than answer the immediate question and not follow up. Now I have credit inquiries and he never called back

Slow start to communication initially. However, a seamless transaction completed same
day. Touareg exactly as described. Avoided the drive to Phoenix/flight to Dallas to

This is a car financing company masquerading as a car dealership. I emailed and text with them and asked what the price would
be if I wrote out a check and they would never give me a price. They just wanted to get me in to do a test drive, even though I live
in Idaho, presumably to try and get me to do a financing deal. If you don't finance with them then they don't want your business.

The dealer was responsive and had good selection, but overall I did not have a good experience. The price listed only applies if you finance through the dealer. I was not impressed by the high pressure sales pitch or lack of price transparency.

The 2017 car had been sold by the time I went in to see it. It was a very low pressure
experience when test-driving and looking at cars, which I appreciate. I eventually
decided on a 2019 e-Golf and purchased it from this dealer. Note that the prices they
quote depend on you taking their financing, which will be more expensive than the
financing you can get directly if you have decent credit. I personally don't like that tactic,
but understand that's how they make money now that the internet has made pricing
more transparent. I am very happy with the car and feel that otherwise the price was
very reasonable. I hope they expand their electric car inventory, expertise and servicing
capability.

They had the car advertised at 3995 I got there and all of a sudden the price went up to 4995. They said it was a weekend special. I reminded them I talked to them on Friday , then they discussed it with each other for 15 minutes. Then I was told they could give me that price. The final price came out to be about 6000. So I didn't get the car because I was approved for 4500

Salesman told me car was available, I told him consider it sold ill take it. He said he was headed home and would get it written up Monday. He finally called me at 9:30 and said someone came on this morning and purchased it. Pretty incompetent sales person.

Watch out for the upcharge for not using their financing. They also add a bunch of “extras” that they will charge you for too. The price listed is not the one you will be walking out with. I walked out

The internet customer relations representative,
Shelby, was great. She was very good about
setting me up with a salesman to answer my
questions. Then she later followed up with me to
insure my needs were being looked after.
Unfortunately they are a little bit too far for me to
feel comfortable buying a truck from. Too bad.
My experience with strong was horrible. When I got to the used car building I asked for the sales rep I had a appointment with.. And someone else came out and before he showed me the car I was there to look out, he wanted to pull my credit. I told him that I wanted to see the car first before he ran my credit so I didn't get another incorry on my credit report if I didn't even like the car. He got pissed off and told me that's the way he does things and then he started to swear under his breath then he said fine we'll do it your way. So pissed off I just turned around and walk straight out the door because of the way he was treating me in front of all the people that was. In the lobby.. So In my opinion the sales reps at strong suck. Not one person said anything to me while I was walking out the door.. And what's worse is the lobby was full of people. I was so embarrassed I wouldn't have bought a car there if mylife depended on It.
I really liked the 2019 Jetta’s & they are priced really well. But the dealer was just too hard to work with. I sent my email, name, zip code etc & a man named Greg did get back to me quickly but he was only interested basically if I called him which I was working so I could not do. After that his emails turned into one sentence responses that gave no information or were helpful at all. I asked about the warranty they offered, if it costs, if it’s applied to all vehicles & all I got in response was “the warranty?” I asked about their lenders because you only get the price listed if you finance through their lenders & all I got back was “they seem good”. When I asked him if I was speaking to the right person because he was being awfully short he started telling me that it’s their busiest day which I understand but since I didn’t provide my phone number & was possibly out of state I basically am not worth explaining anything to & they won’t communicate via email.

Salesman were very responsive however they add a $399 documentation fee and a $486 charge for a “collision avoidance system”. It’s a flashing third brake light that sells for $25. I asked them to remove it and remove the $486 charge and they would not do it so we did not make a deal
Greg.B, sales person was rude and uninterested in trying to sell me the GTI. He would not respond to emails (for online sales) with any
details that I would ask. Preferred that I give him my personal phone number, because he was to lazy to type and reply. This sales person
from this dealership should not be doing online sales, if he is unable to reply to requests via email. Such a shame!
I contacted strong about this honda pilot. Strong vw was very responsive with my questiones. I came down & test drove this & 2 other suvs because the honda was way too big for me. Liked the other 2 i test drove. I did buy a 2015 nissan rogue from them yesterday. This was my best car buying experience ever! No pressure or hassle & they were able to work with me with my trade in too. Hunter the sales guy was very transparent, explained a lot to me & answered all of my questiones & was friendly.

They were great! We ended up purchasing through them.
I spent about 3 days working with this dealership, and a total of about 25 mins with the salesman, and they could only find one car that would somewhat fit my parameters, but the payments were $20 more per month than i told them i wanted my payments to be. So i thanked the salesman and we parted ways. Then a supervisor came barreling out of the store after me, asking what my problem was, and that i had just wasted 3 days of his salesman time, and demanded i go and give him a tip! What the hell?! I wouldn't purchase a vehicle from Strong VW if they paid ME every month. I have never been talked down to, and belittled as bad as this dealership did to me. Avoid a disaster and steer clear of these guys!

Price of car listed on the internet ended up being a mistake. Dealer admitted the error and was very responsive.

dealership. Was told can’t give me figures since I
didn’t know my payoff at that time. Was looking

Salesman David quoted me an out the door price of 50% more than the sales price listed on car gurus. When I challenged that increase he became agitated. I explained I was looking at a the same car at a different dealer and he stated "then go buy that car". At that time I terminated the negotiations.

After requesting answers to questions I had about the vehicle and emails to two different sales representatives and the used car sales manager they did not answer anything about what I asked about. It was apparent they just wanted me to come in. I told them that since they did not seem to care about the sale of the vehicle to just forget about it.
They were helpful when I asked for the carfax. Then I asked about the status of the timing belt and head gasket and they wouldn’t provide me any information on it. I lived out of town and couldn’t visit the car before buying it, so not even being able to get a picture of the head gasket to see if it was leaking was obviously a deal breaker.

After my first email I received a video response. I followed up by calling and getting more details. I arranged a meeting and the car I saw online was ready to be driven. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. I would highly recommend this dealership.

The price advertised on the website is somewhat deceiving because it's not the purchase price but the lease price. Plus there are other stipulations that were mentioned by other posts (like you have to finance with them, not all the discounts apply etc.)
On a positive note, they responded right away and as soon as I was given all the other info, I decided to look elsewhere. That's the only reason they got more than one star.

While they are nice enough, you really need to be aware of what the actual price is. There are way too
many conditions for the price. You have to trade in a 2009 or newer vehicle,
you have to finance with them, you have to actually lease the vehicle to get
the advertised price, if you buy, you don't get a $2500 discount. If you just
want to buy the vehicle outright, the price is nowhere close to what is
published. And then, the dealer add on's that aren't in the listed price. Sorry,
just want real straight-up pricing and a decent deal. We ended up buying elsewhere.

Very enthusiastic, but emailing me 2x a day is a little too much - I'm more apt
to give 5 stars to a situation where I don't feel pressured or overwhelmed.
The PROs: car was there
The CONS: BAIT AND SWITCH - the cargurus price not honored. They
tack on many extra fees, including a silly PULSE system (already installed
on car) charge of almost $500 (regular market price $149). This "collision
avoidance" as the manager said "is a revenue stream" for them. It's a
useless gimmick- basically makes your middle brake light flicker when you
brake - as per company website, it has a lockout period "so as not to
annoy trailing drivers in stop and go traffic." Since most rear end collisions
happen in stop/go traffic, this is a complete waste of money. It's not a true
safety system and insurance companies don't honor it for discounts. I
asked to take that charge out or we had no deal, and they said they would
- which was a lie. After keeping me there for 4 hrs, throwing unreal
numbers out and not letting me look at the paper long enough to do my
own math, when I finally got home and reviewed my invoice, I noticed they
still charged me for it. Manager was rude when I raised this issue and said
"just consider it an extra dealer fee then. I wasn't in the room so I am not
responsible for what my guy said." I asked him to remove it since per
PULSE website it's a 5 minute job, and he refused. BTW their doc
preparation fee is $399 (whereas in most other dealerships it's $100-250).
Considering the VW cheating scandal marring VW reputation and causing
huge percentage losses on their sales, I was expecting them to be on their
best behavior. What I found was dishonest and disrespectful to the
customers. Make sure you study the papers and pull out your calculator or
walk out if they don't let you do that. I will not buy a car from them again.
Finally - the car I bought is still listed though it's off their lot so make sure
you call before you waste your time driving there.
