not a great experience at all, advertised prices are not realistic
none of the discount applies to consumer unless you work for Ford,
when I asked for otd price they send me a sticker price with additional accessories and services I didn't ask for
feels like a scams
Disappointing and unprofessional. I had been talking to a sales rep regarding a car and was ready to check out on Car Guru. We live 2.5 hrs away and we’re going to coordinate delivery. The rep didn’t answer her email and her voicemail was set up with someone else’s name. By the time I finally got in touch with someone I was told that they sold the vehicle even though I was in process of buying it. I was told Car Gurus gives a false sense of ownership to buyers and nothing is final until the dealer refines the paperwork. I expect these type of business practices from small fly by night dealers but not from an authorized Ford dealership.

Dealer was great to talk with but wouldn't let me make a deposit on the car after I had It professionally inspected. They sold it out from under me while I was waiting on the dealership to reopen Monday morning. Typical of my experience with car dealers. They are corrupt and will lie about everything and anything for their own benefit.

As a policy take deposits at our discretion. This vehicle had multiple buyers interested and we were not able to hold it for an out of state buyer. We would love to help you on a future purchase.

Salesman contacted me through CarGurus and I in turn asked some questions about the vehicle by phone and email. Since I would be driving over 3 hours to see the truck, I asked about cosmetic condition, any scratches, dings, dents, etc. Salesman Brandon Harty replied that there were no issues with the truck. I took a day off work and drove the 3.5 hours to the dealership and was shown the truck. I was extremely disappointed. The truck sides were covered in deep scratches, the bed had bare metal showing in spots, there was a quarter-sized piece of clear coat missing from the hood and a cigarette burn in the top of the rear leather seat. I was then told by the salesman that the truck was “used” and these blemishes should be expected. The truck had less than 30k miles on it and looked like it had been driven through the woods for 10 years. I was then shown another truck that was newer, even less mileage and it was even worse. Worst dealership I have ever been to! Do not recommend

Michelle was very helpful
This woman was incredibly persistent. I got emails every other day from her. I finally emailed her back with the specifics I required. These specifics are readily available from many dealerships. She sent me vehicles that did not meet my requirements. I pointed that out attempting to get her to focus. That was the last email I ever received from her. Two stars for persistence. Zero stars for everything else.

Went to purchase vehicle drove 3 hours had check in hand and got there and seen paint scratches, dings and gouges. Not in “like new” condition as described. Car fax report different from what was online. Very disappointed.
I didn't feel like Lance had any interest in actually selling me a car. The vehicle was fairly dirty for being at a dealership. I also noticed that the door was out of alignment (pretty obviously) and pointed it out. He said he would take it to the body shop. I told him to call me back if it was fixable and if cleaned the car I'd come take another look. He didn't bother to ask my name or confirm my phone number and I never heard back from him. I will not be returning.

Very good customer service and very reasonable prices , go see lance in used car sales he is very thorough and gets you in and out and is a great person as well! Very pleased with our new 2016 Ford F-150 sport edition truck !

Doug and Michelle were terrific! Answered all my questions promptly and completely. Test drove vehicle and was disappointed as it had obvious mechanical problems(warped brake rotors, rotational imbalance noise, interior rattles). All of which should have been caught/fixed if the vehicle truly was inspected and CPO. Thank you.
Slow to respond, responded to the incorrect date I planned to view the vehicle, confirmed my
appointment a few days later then 10 minutes after told me it was sold! Suggested another car to look
at which was well outside my price range. I do appreciate them letting me know the car was no longer
available as it saved me a 2-hr drive each way. They could be much more responsive and accurate,
though.

Grant contacted me as soon as I requested info, easy to talk to, answered all questions, made an extra video of car for me, car sold before I could make the trip to see it. Would work with them again, if they get a car I like.

Lance is nice and caring. He put new battery in car because it wouldn't start. Most places would have just June started car.
Very straightforward dealership. I contacted them about a van early in the week. All of my questions were answered quickly. Lance was very helpful. I requested service records records for the van and they were promptly emailed to me. I drove 3 hours and everything was as advertised. Lance had everything ready for me which made for a seamless Saturday purchase. No gimmicks or hard sells. I highly recommend!

This dealer was amazing. Knew I had to drive an hour and 30 minutes to get there. 3 other people had called or showed up after I spoke with him. They held it until I got there and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. Drove home my dream truck. went to two other dealerships prior and they don’t compare to Skalnek Ford. Lance Richardson was great and it really was a seamless process from begining to end.

Doug Lutz is both a very nice man and a nice, low pressure salesman. He returned my email and waited for me to call, like I asked him to, unlike some of the others who pestered me daily with calls. We got the car at a very good price, the deal was smooth and enjoyable. The car was clean, ready to test drive, and I love it. Nothing bad to say about them, I'd recommend dealing with Skalnek Ford.

Overall great experience Lance was very helpful and opened all options for
me to get the vehicle of my choice that fit my budget! Only problem is that
he said there was a spare tire in the back, when i got home there was no
spare tire. I will be calling monday to check on that. Other than that i highly
recommend Lance Richardson, very patient and checked on me
consistently throughout the process. Made my first time buying a car very
easy and stress free!

The salesman Lance was very helpful. We settled on a fair price after the test drive. They even delivered the vehicle to my job. Lance called a couple days after I made my purchase to check if I was satisfied. "You can't ask for better service than that" Top notch dealership!

Worked with Lance. He had the car waiting for us when we got there. He stayed late to talk figures with us. Super friendly and great to my kids. We live far away so had to do some negotiations over the phone. He was super patient and worked hard to get us the monthly payment we needed! I'll be back for sure. Lance is a tremendous asset to the dealership!

I didn't end up purchasing from this dealer because of the distance, but the sales person did keep in contact with me, via email and phone. I appreciated that contact, as most do not do it.

I think the add was a scam to get prople in. First said car went
to auction and then they said they sold to someone else. They
waited to tell me that until they realized I was ready to buy and

I'm sorry you feel this way. Not that this is a good excuse but sometime it is hard to keep track of cars during the process and it is hard for everyone to know exactly where a car is. That being said we would not lie to a customer saying a car is still here and it was sold, but many times a car has been sold in between the time a customer inquires and actually visits the dealership.

Wasn't very attentive to us driving 2 hours to see the vehicle and the vehicle was dirty inside and had a awful odor, like dirty dipers.

Purchased 2009 Forester from this dealer. Less than 200 miles after purchase the car started making a strange noise. Had a local Subaru dealer take a listen to the car and the Central Differential was going bad. Bought the car with the expectation that any major problems would have been mentioned. Since the car had been driven around 200 miles when the noise started I feel that someone as Skalnek Ford should have noticed the potential for this problem occurring during their servicing of the Forester and passed this information on to the salesperson. Would suggest anyone looking at purchasing from this dealer ask to see all records pertaining to the vehicle they are interested in and if the mechanic checking the vehicle found saw anything that may be of any concern. If at all possible I would also recommend the person take it to a mechanic they know to get a second opinion of the condition of the vehicle.

salesman phoned to say another dealer had sold the car.

We bought the car for a good price and
it's a nice car but 3 weeks after buying it,
we still hadn't recieved the license plate
and thr temporary had expired.
When I called about it, they said they
had it right there, come get it or we'll
mail it. Then they call me 10 minutes
later and tell me I owe another $78
because they didn't charge me enough.
3 weeks later? That tells me they never
did get the plate, it wouldn't take 3
weeks for them to figure that out.
So, they leave me the option of driving
with no plate and getting a ticket
because of their mistake or leaving work
and going up there, costing me much
more than $78 in lost wages.
Very dissatisfied.

Very responsive but I think they were asking too much for the car I was interested in. They lowered the price a couple thousand dollars in their ad the day after I talked to the sales manager. I ended up going with a newer car with less miles for thousands of dollars less from another dealer.

Salesman (Scott) responded nearly immediately and was friendly and helpful. Although, I ended up not buying a vehicle from them, they still pretty much had the best deal for that particular vehicle type (minivan) in our area.
