Don't bother if you are buying from out of state. They charge the $377 doc fee like normal but if you're out of state you get hit with a $1000 dealership fee as well. Once I found that out I walked away. Who knows how many other hidden fees there are.

FALSE ADVERTISING! The car was there in great condition, unfortunately the price was extremely misleading. They staff and management was trying to up charge me an additional 3000 in fees on the MSRP for a LoJack and shipping, plus taxes. Calling them “mandatory” fees.

Bad dealership. They don't post pictures of certain cars and when you call and ask if they can send you pictures they just keep stalling you and say they will send you some but never do and try to convince you to come in instead. No one is going to go check out a car without fully knowing how it looks interior and exterior first. They don't take you serious and are immature over the phone. Fine with me though, I'll find another dealer that's worth my time and money. I'll make sure not to recommend no one to them!

Sherman Dodge was quick to respond to my inquiry and set up an appointment to test drive the car. Even though the Audi was not one of the dealer’s brands the salesman was very knowledgeable on all of the options. The car was exactly what was in the listing. I did purchase the car and I would definitely recommend Sherman Dodge.

Don’t waste your time.
Very unprofessional.
We make an agreement, contacted my bank to send the check on their name while staying in touch. Told them I received the check and call off from work to go there, on my way they call me to say the car was sold.
Not a good experience. From my trade in value changing to not willing to negotiate and/or budge on the price. Also I realize that everyone has to start somewhere, but my sale associate was willing knowledgeable about the car or the process and needed to run to the sales managers desk for answers on everything….I might as well just speak to that person.

Called ahead to verify if the car was still available and was told it was. I asked them to contact me if the car was sold on my way there and they agreed. I live an hour and a half away from Skokie so I wanted to make sure it was a sure thing so I don’t waste my time. When I arrive there, I’m told to take a seat and after waiting 10 minutes I was told the vehicle was sold and that there was nothing they could do. Instead they tried offering cars beyond my price range. I’m irritated and just end up leaving only to receive a message a week later asking if I was still interested in this vehicle. This dealership is sketchy and has bad business practices, would absolutely avoid.

Horrible! Total bait and switch. Deceptive tactics
from the moment i set foot on the lot. Do not waste
your time or money here!! I emailed back and forth
all morning with the dealership. They assured me
that the car was available and nothing wrong or it
wouldnt have passed their inspection. They took the
liberty of making me an appointment. When i got
thete, after intercepting me and not getting the
salesman i was supposed to be with they said the
car was gone. It was a bad bad car and it was sent
to auction that morning. When i confronted a
manager, he said all dealerships do the same thing!!

My sales person was great. However, sales manager lied about existing warranty and what it covered. Didn't find out until we were signing paperwork. Had to get extended warranty. That obviously cganged the total price. Never go there again.
Over 2 weeks ago the dealership posted this vehicle for sale at a price that was $3,000 less. Over the two weeks they have played a cat and mouse game trying to bait me into the dealership without sending me any actual pictures of this vehicle. I was originally told it was bought at an auction out of state and it would take a few days. It has been two weeks. I think they just posted a desirable vehicle in a low price to get consumers into the door.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a car for her. She found this and we went to check it out. The car turned out to be great and under market value. They worked with us to take care of any concerns about the car we had. We worked with Humza he was our salesperson and was absolutely amazing and very accommodating in every single. I highly recommend this dealership and our salesperson. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The dealership contacted us quickly after we inquired about this vehicle. The first visit to the dealership was disappointing. ( The dealership is also not right around the corner from us.) The car had not been cleaned up at ALL. There was also a noticeable dent in door, BUT the sales person was Great. We went back for a test drive. He fixed all of our concerns and we bought the car. We are happy with our purchase.

Customer service was great, however, the vehicle i inquired about was not even close to what was there. In person, the vehicle was damaged on the whole passenger side. None of which was pictured. Not a word in the description. I contacted them a handful of times about coming and with questions because I was driving 2 hours away. Not a single work about how damaged it was. To top of all the damage I got in to drive it to go look at some different cars and the seat lever was broken.

Came here for a test drive, made an appt and as soon I mentioned was there to only do the drive immediately got the cold
shoulder. Waited 30 minutes only to be told the car i was interested in was not there and in "another lot". Salesman really
seemed put off by dealing with us, even tagged along for the test drive and provided no info on the jeep. Oh and was
telling me how Jeep was shutting down for 9 months, talked to another dealership and they even admitted that is false and
sounded like a scam to pressure into buying that day. Don't waste your time here! Could be a sleezy night club at night!

This is another one of those bait and switch dealers. When I talked with them they claimed not to have the vehicle in the add. Note not that
they had sold it just they had no record of the lot number. Then they followed up but we do have another Van just like it. Yes will that Van was
over 10K more than the one advertised. This is the type of dealer that gives all dealers a bad name! Would never do business with them!

Had an Appt, but car wasn't prepped.
Had a star in windshield, fairly large scrape in rear, some dings, tires needed
replacement very soon. Engine had noise.
Manager had no interest in assisting the salesperson with a sale.
Manager blamed internet Department for bad communication.

Before I come they made an appointment without me, and called me 3 times, send me 2 messages and 3 emails, to confirm my coming. But I didn’t make the appointment, I said I maybe come this Saturday.
Made an appointment to see a car, ignored the reviews and sure enough got there and supposedly within the 2 days the manager assured us the car will be there..it wasnt... so got us in the door and tried to make offers on other cars which were very tempting but we didnt buy...overall service was good but they will initially try just to get you through the door.

price. Wasted 3 hrs of my time. Ask about incentives and rebates

Called about a truck on a Tuesday, was supposed to go look at it on Friday. They were supposed to call me on Thursday to confirm that I was coming to look at it. They must have sold it before Friday because it was taken off the site. They kept calling me and actually still call me and I just deny the call. I told them that truck was the absolute only thing I was interested in and they keep calling anyways. Save your time and go somewhere else.

dealership. Wanted to write a check for Jeep but got
giving a $23,000 price when the advertised price was
$14,866. It was a horrible experience and a rude staff to
boot. I went somewhere else and bought. Sherman
dodge is a joke hopefully no one else has to deal with

Next day Niko told me car is sold and I looked web site
again they increased the price from $8000 to $10900

The worst experience I've ever had.
They didn't have the keys to the Jeep, I had called about and was interested in buying. After
an hour wait, it turned out that the Jeep in question was inoperable due to electrical and
heat issues.. Just a joke. Total bait and switch tactics.
I wouldn't buy a car from this dealership if it was the last dealership on earth.
I can't believe they are still in business.

They contacted me initially but not after I asked to work through email and for a detailed
breakdown of their lowest price and how the price quoted on Car Guru's was arrived at so that I
would have a record of the conversations and the numbers we talked about before visiting the
dealership for a test drive and to finalize a sale. I essentially received no follow up after that. I
completed my purchase at another dealership 3/23/19 a non-CarGuru dealership, unfortunately.

I would NEVER go back to this dealer. They posted a car new, for $26,700 with no incentives. I called again to ask if that was a real price or if that included incentives. They assured me that was their price and they would honor it. When we got there we learned the car was actually a demo car with 3,600 miles on it, not new. I figured that was ok because it was still a good price. The salesman came and handed me a price of $30,000. I showed him the ad on car guru and he said they don’t honor that. I spoke to a VERY rude manager who told me car gurus is not his site and he does not need to honor the price. I asked to speak to the salesman I spoke to on the phone that assured me the price was available but he told me “I’m her boss. You don’t need her.” They were definitely a click bait dealer and full of lies. They could not have been more rude. As we sat there we saw LOTS of customers angry and yelling back and forth. I would HIGHLY suggest avoiding this dealer.

Test drove vehicle. When it came time for the price negotiation, the advertised price on cargurus.com (which made it a "great" price) I was told
did not include other fees (not your typical license, title, registration stuff - which I expected) but a (UCI - used car inspection fee of over $1000
plus a shipping fee of $895 - shipping from the car auction I was told). I pushed to not pay the fees, and they agreed to drop the "shipping"
fee only. I walked out and will never deal with this dealership again.
My daughter and I went in to look at a car for her. We found a car but were unable to purchase on the spot. The next morning, Wednesday, we called the dealership and spoke with our salesman. We agreed to buy the car and put a $2,000 deposit down to hold it. We told them, via text, so in writing, that we would be back on Friday to pick up the car. They sent me a copy of the deposit receipt and a congrats on your purchase. Today is Friday and I got a call from our salesman that the car has been sold to someone else. You wonder why car dealerships get a bad rap? It's because of shady tactics like this. I will never again set foot in this dealership and will steer anyone I can away from them. A deal is a deal. We had verbal and written agreements and those were broken. Unacceptable.

Wilson was easy to work with. The finance department not so much.
I called the dealership about a car I was interested about 9am. At noon, they called to say they still had the car. I asked for pictures and a price, as the posting did not contain this information and I needed this to determine if I was interested enough to drive 45 minutes to look at the car. I waited until 4:00 on that day and then called to find out what the hold up was. Again, I was told they had the car, but didn’t know the price and had no pictures. I was contacted the next morning, by text, to let me know the car was still available. Still no pics and no price. Finally, around noon someone called to tell me the car was sold and could they help me with another vehicle. Useless. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone.
We drive 4 hours to look at the vehicle. Vehicle was dirty and had several poor repairs. Shabby body work and poor paint work. Vehicle was 1 year old with 50k, looked like it was 5 years old with 100k. My wife and Ididnt even want to take it for a test drive, even found a McDonald’s bag in the back, and a moldy seat belt in the third row seat. Gross.

Be ready to negotiate away nonsense fees that are tacked on to the advertised price. Know what you want to pay before you go and be ready to walk away. They tried to tack
on a $895 "vehicle delivery fee" (for a used car from a local auction) and a $1,900 "inspection fee". They wouldn't even show me all of the fees in their first "total cost" they
gave me, but the price went from $29,000 sticker price to $36,000 with all of the fees plus taxes. I had to go back and forth to get it back down to only $33,500 after taxes and
fees added.

car was sold and they have two left which was
ok as the one I wanted was the one they still had
I told them I will be there in 10. When I get there
it was only one ready sales said let them locate
the 2nd one come back said it was at detail and
they will send someone to get it. Then about 30
min wait he comes back and said the manager
said someone just brought the car. Which to me
was odd if he said it was at detail and the car
was just listed a day before. Next I told the sales
guys that the car had some issues like the front
tire was waisted due to aliegmet needed and
rear tail light broken. I was in the market that
day to buy car I told him if price is flexible and if
they can fix the issues. He came back with
Manager which was very rude he told me if I
wanted the car and I told him yes if he gives me
better price he goes back and forth rude again
left brought car someplace else.

I had a bad experience with this dealer. The salesman was fine, it was the finance guy (I'm assuming) who's treatment i did appreciate.
Additionally, I was contacted twice by email after I emailed I had purchased a vehicle and asked to stop communication. The salesman called
the night I asked by email for contact to cease. I'm sure he could tell I was angry, and I told him I wasn't angry w/him. I hope these
communications stop, as I have no interest in EVER going to this dealership ever again.

Went to this dealer and while test driving this vehicle it shut off and would'nt start back up then they couldn't find the second vehicle then the third vehicle had issues as well then we finally found a vehicle we liked but one of the managers refused to sell it like wth although the sales worker was very nice and slightly aggressive I still enjoyed the sales experience with him but this dealership as a whole only gets 2 stars from me
Was not impressed with how they do things there. They try to push you into buying something even if you tell them you want to sleep on it. They were trying to sell a Jeep that had a light bar on it that didn't work. They took pics of the light bar and used it as a selling point and it didn't even work. They said they wouldn't fix it. That's just not good for business in my eyes. I found quite a few issues with the vehicle, including the non-working light bar and they wouldn't negotiate the price of the vehicle at all. It was not the worse experience I've ever had at a dealership, but it was in my top 3 worse experiences with a dealership. Oh well, I'll find a Jeep eventually that everything actually works on at a good price. Good luck and hope this helps
I have had 2 different experiences with this dealership over the course of 1
1/2 years - both horrible and untrustworthy. After several live conversations
with this dealership I drove there to test drive the car, only to find it "suddenly
needed a new cylinder or head" told both stories. The "general manager"
didn't even introduce himself before interjected himself and attempting to
argue with me in the middle of a busy show room, only to give me empty
promises - will never do business with this company.

I had done a ton of research on the Challenger GT and was ready to buy. Saw this ad and headed out to Skokie to seal the deal. Not only was there no car there, but the price was misleading. I spoke with two service reps before heading out, one of which was supposed to send pictures. He never did and never informed that they didn't have any GTs there. Disappointed that I had made the trip for nothing, I was ready to buy even if I had to wait for delivery. The manager then informed that price posted was including all rebates including a military discount. The price would actually be substantially higher (5K+) for me than what was advertised. The price is what got me there in the first place. No car and a misleading price. I took my business elsewhere and drove off the lot the same day. Buyer beware.

Overbearing - call text and email almost daily after a disappointing experience
at the location. Listing was not accurate - the car had "sold" the day before -
but none of the other cars on the lot were even close on price, while being
comparable in features. Onsite experience was not great - lots of walking
back and forth, car that we didn't even want to test drive had to be jump
started. Staff was friendly enough, but did not give the impression of being
knowledgeable about their stock or the vehicles we came to see.

I found the salesman helpful, responsive, and attempted to reassure me through the purchase process of a remote sale, however the experience turned bad after I did a vin check online and discovered the vehicle was not as it was described. They advertised the trim level to be the highest when it was the lowest trim level. I explained to the salesman that I had done the vin check and was coming up with a different trim level and asked him to confirm. I received a call from the manager a couple hours later saying they rely on a third party to list their vehicles online. He didn't take responsibility and regardless whether it was a third party or not you are responsible for how you are represented. Earning trust is a big thing and this dealership blew it.

I'd give them 0 star if I could. I had approved financing and gave credit card
info for down payment and they pulled the deal last minute because "they had
lots of calls on the car locally" ? I'm an out of town buyer but my money is the
same?!?
I will never do business with them again. I came 3 hrs away. Never was told about a cracked windshield or a dentist in the bumper. The milage.the was 3,000 more than what was on my purchase agreement. Spoke with them back and forth all week. Plenty of time to say this stuff. I came with a certified check from my bank, they took over two hours to get me out the door and also ran my credit after I told them they had no need to, as they were not financing me. Never again.

Not a big fan of Sherman Dodge. They contacted me at first, but when
I asked for a quote online they said they don’t do that and never
responded to me. After that, another sales manager contacted me,

Well they changed the price all said and done up 6k. The comment was you
dont qualify for the local discounts.
I have never heard of such a thing, also if they advertise over the whole of the
US then all discounts should apply,

These people are dishonest and have poor business ethics. Their “E-price” includes unobtainable rebates that not a single human on earth would qualify for all of them needed to get the quoted E-price. So the actual price I would get the car for was $5,000 more than their E-price. When I called them out on it the Internet Manger said that is how they decide to do business and if I don’t like their pricing strategy to buy a car somewhere else. Well they lost out on a 40k sale because they are dishonest and have poor business ethic. However I do enjoy my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sahara NOT FROM THE LIARS AT SHERMAN DODGE!

My experience with Sherman Dodge was amazing! Fast, Friendly and really
attentive to what I was looking for. I felt like they really appreciated my
concerns and weren't trying to sell me something I was not looking for.
They only sell junk vehicle.with sprinter passenger van most of the vehicle they buy from auction are damages to the roof or have accident history.i was in their location.checked 1 sprinter roof found taped with aluminum duct tape.... before you but make sure you check and think twice from this dealership.

The dealer contacted me over the phone, but their phone system kept
cutting out, making it very difficult to get information. I physically went to
the dealer, and while Will the salesman tried to work with me, we couldn't
come to a deal on the vehicle. No fault of Will's. But, while I was doing the
inevitable waiting around during the negotiations, I saw multiple other
salespeople and staff swearing, having rude conversations, and when the
"office guys" left their offices to smoke, take a break, etc. I never saw a
smile or any hint of creating a friendly atmosphere. Additionally, part of
their lot is gravel, which means the cars I went to look over were all dirty on
the outside, and another vehicle they showed me (this time a used one)
had used beverage cans and laundry bags in the back. Overall, I was
incredibly underwhelmed by my experience at Sherman.

Great experience Robert Booth excellent sales ability.
They sold the vehicle I wanted to see, never bothered to let me know that it
was sold. I would also like to add that the salesmen are less than
professional, after dealing with three different. Also the person I was
supposed to see with an appointment, could not be reached or found no
one seemed to know who she was either on premises.
It has been a while since I went to look for a car but pretty car this is not the
way it's supposed to be..............

False information about the car, than they make you purchase options (etching theft) as mandatory which customer has even requested that cost around $1000 which shows up on invoice automatically without any discussion. Very rude people and poor service

The staff at Sherman Dodge were very professional, but a bit
disorganized. When I arrived the topper was missing. It took a
lot of running around to find it.
I felt that I was at the dealership far too long.

Took an hour just to see one car that didn't have the feature
(leather) I called and inquired about earlier in the day. A second
vehicle of interest couldn't be located. Desmond was helpful,
but the dealership overall exuded blatant sales tactics which
was frustrating. We left and won't return.

The worst car dealer I have ever gone too. They made me wait over 30 minutes to bring the car to test drive and when the did the tank was on empty. Also the oil change light was on. Not good selling points. Then they informed me(my husband was not there) that the deal they were making me was only good til the end of the day. They treated me like a stupid woman. How insulting. Would never go back there again.

end up purchasing a 2011 gti (car I
really wanted) for $21k including my 05
golf trade in. It was listed for under $20k
on cargurus but under unorthodox
circumstances I'll say this dealership is
ok.

Phone contact established, appointment set up to see car. Next day the price is increased 3K on the website. I called to find out why they did that, was told by an unprofessional sales guy 'Cameron' that they must have done 3K in work on the car overnight. Yeah right. This is a Honda that has been on their lot for 150+ days.... I was unsatisfied with his answer and told him to cancel my appointment, he didn't care and never passed the message on the sales person I was working with, which resulted in a few more followup calls when I "missed" my appointment. Read others' reviews too, they are pretty bad. This place seems to have shady practices. Also complained via their chat assistant on their website and the agent promised they don't practice business this way. She also promised to have this addressed buy management and that they would get back to me. Yeah, it's a week later....no contact from anyone regarding this trouble...What a total and complete surprise. <- sarcasm.

The dealership was a bit disorganized and messy. The salesman was OK and the vehicle, a 2011 Town and Country Limited with 22000 miles was a bit overpriced. There was an oil leak and damage to signals on both side view mirrors. They came down on the price and promised to fix the oil leak and mirrors. So, we decided to take it home and have a friend who manages a body shop look it over. He found that the hood had been removed and worked on, but otherwise it looked good. We went back came to an agreed price, got good financing and we were out the door. Unfortunately that night we found that several items amounting to $1700.00 had been added without explanation! It was done in a way that was very sneaky. Mind you I called the following Monday anticipating a fight. To their credit, they worked with me and took off what I wanted them to. Not only that, but they also dropped the interest rate they had given me. So, all in all, they were good. But, had my wife not gone over the paperwork, we would have paid the extra money without even knowing about it! For that reason, I only gave 3 stars.

Drove 3hrs, got lost, was an hour late for my appointment. They
gave me the Internet base price anyway to start with. Stayed till the
deal was done. There till 12 am. Even have a due bill for a bunch of
work to be done to my purchase. Even setting me up with a loaner
while work is completed. To top it all off, this was a 3rd party
purchase. I would buy from them again

I sent an e-mail asking if they would take $16,000 for a VW priced at $17,995. George called and said it sounded good but he had to run it by his manager. Two hours no call back. I e-mailed and said I could get the car tonight if the deal was still good. Got a call repeating terms and I said I had it prefinanced through USAA and they could get money today. Said he would call back and did 3 minutes later but said manager said $17,400 was as low as they would go. I said no deal. I was afraid this was going to happen after I got the financing approved through my bank and then saw some of the unfavorable comments about his dealership on this site.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. I was driving nearly 5 hours so I called over 24 hours in advance and set up an appointment to view the car. Sale person said they would have it ready. When i arrived, I had to wait 20 minutes for them to get the car. When they showed it to me, it was filthy on the inside, full of trash and stains on the carpet. Salesperson apologized and said they hadnt had a chance to clean it up but gauranteed they had looked at the car mechanically, no sooner had he finished, a large cloud of smoke comes from under the hood. 5 hour drive wasted. Very unprofession, I felt very disrespected.

Inquired this dealer on a 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited for less than $20,000 or $4,600 below market (e.g. too good to be true!). Upon research of VIN 5NPEB4ACXCH355393, I identified this is a GLS model and informed dealer rep (Angel M.) as such, who stated he would advise their internet sales/marketing department to have corrected. Ten days after informing this dealer, this car is NOW listed as a 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited PZEV. Either the VIN number search in AutoCheck was inaccurate, or the dealer refuses to correct this advertising approach.
