They post the car for sale but don't show the front seats. The driver's seat is known for coming apart, and they completely ignored my request for pictures of the front seats, and didn't even respond. This is a Red Flag all around!

I had a pleasant experience buying the mustang gt. The car was as described and the sales people were friendly and helpful. I would recommend looking into their inventory.
Jeep quit running 2 days after purchase ( its under warranty)and they never responded to my calls/emails. I am still waiting for them to contact me on how to get vehicle back to them to repair it. It needs a tow and they have made no effort to contact me ( I have called & emailed over 6 times) to arrange it. They have shown Absolutely zero concern for helping. Don't believe the dealers owners responses to any reviews as they are 100% false. He just writes what sounds good to the public so it appears he is helping. They dont appear to have a mechanic any where Insight to inspect/diagnos/repair vehicles which may be why they have not towed it to thier store. Definitely a mistake on my part purchasing from an unprofessional business.

I contacted the dealer to see if the vehicle was still available, they responded very quickly and told me it was sold. I recommend emailing or calling the dealership first rather than go and find out the vehicle is no longer available and waste your time. Unless your in the market of buying just any vehicle.
The man I spoke with was very polite and helpful. I am looking for an early Porsche
Boxster. I'm from out-of-state and was going to be in Illinois the following
weekend. I told him I am in the early stages of looking and not ready to buy, but
that I would like to drive a Boxster, as I never had. He understood and said that
would be fine. Through nobody's fault, I ended up not being able to look at the car.
ButI would recommend these guys based on my contact with them so far.

They were good they let me know they sold the car
The car had an accident in Canada. I ran the Carfax before calling them and the Carfax value was 25 thousand. Autocheck report did not reflect the accident in the report. When I called them and told them that I ran independently Carfax of this vehicle,, they lowered the asking price from 27 to 26 thousand, not even 10% of the asking price.

Not to helpful I want the Sebring but they won’t work with me on it . I asked if I could do in house financing but they don’t do it plus the car is almost 3000.00 over priced

The car I bought had no been inspected despite being told it had been. There was only 1 key and I barely made it home with a adaptive drive sensor post broke and a bad turbo. I brought it in for service and then it was still broke. Had to go back to get it fixed again. I spent a lot of my time and money trying to get this car right. Multiple trips to the service dealer and 2 turbos later I finally have a car I can drive after almost a month of messing around with it’s. I bought weather tech floor liners as the floor mats they gave. We’re clearly not for this car.
I was really unimpressed by the lack of response from the owners . I would never have let one of my customers sit without a car after just paying cash for one and never got a call back from them which was disappointing and displays a lack of concern.
The buying experience was easy on the front end but personally, I was not impressed with how my problem was handled.

14 years ago I took my son who was 4 years old to a car show. He
loved red convertibles and I told him one day dad will buy one and
we’ll go cruising. I retired 3 weeks ago and late one night my son who
is now 17 and I were on line and we ran across this Mustang. I called

Saint Charles Motorcars was awesome! The vehicle was priced well and super clean. I bought my Range Rover from 9 hours away. They were nice enough to send extra photos and communicate back and forth for a few days before we had the road trip to purchase the vehicle. We were pre-approved for a loan from PNC that had an issue. PNC was closed on Saturday right before we signed the paperwork. Luckily, Saint Charles Motorcars had multiple banks to choose from and found us a similar loan so we didnt have to wait until PNC opened again on Monday. Keep up the good work! Called Zak then had several emails with him. Told them I was interested in there murano and offered my civic on trade, they were straightforward with there prices, though I tried to negotiate down I do believe they priced the murano where they needed to be, and gave me a good price for my civic. We dealt with Zak from phone calls and emails to the test drive to the finances and the trade. Pretty nice to deal with one person all the way through, no games no gimmicks no bs just straight up good people to deal with, I didn’t pull one over them and they didn’t pull one over me, just straight up honest people, don’t approach them like there out to get you just talk to them and enjoy buying a vehicle from them

Came across the Cadillac on Car Gurus, Zak contacted me we spoke in great length about the car and my trade in. He made the transaction effortless. We did most of the deal over the phone and by email. When I arrived Monday to pick up the car it was ready and no surprises. They took my trade in switched the plates and everything went fabulous. I would recommend Zak and Mike they both were professional and really nice to deal with.

On Jan 26th 2018 made a 4 hour drive one-way to look at the 2002
Firebird Trans AM. The car has a Y84 in the RPO codes, so it’s a basic
Trans Am, not a WS6. Problems with this car were carpet was worn thru
where the clutch is, battery tray has heavy rust not sure the extent of it, if it
goes thru, power antenna is broke off so there’s no radio reception or way
to test sound quality of the speakers, plastic around convertible shows
signs of cracking, convertible top is in fair condition, passenger headlight
motor not working, not sure if it’s a gear replacement or motor
replacement, inside of rims show heavy flaking corrosion and tires need to
be replaced checked and cracked. I mentioned to the salesmen that I
would be ashamed to show a car in the condition it was on the showroom
floor. My wife could detail a car better. Salesmen needed to run to the
owner of St Charles with every question. I made a reasonable offer again
salesman couldn’t make a decision and the owner countered with what I
felt was still high. I thought I could do the repairs, turn a prune into a
peach. However on the 4 hour drive home I thought better of purchasing
the car. Called within the 24 hour period, owner said he’d be happy to
cancel. Friday Feb 2nd a week later I still haven’t had the deposit returned
to may account. Sent salesmen e-mail with no response. At best the car
has a market value of 10K in present condition. I would advise people not
to visit this dealership. Below par.

The refund of the deposit does take a few days to go through the banking system

Looked at the 2005 Corvette. It was nice but had a few flaws that they didn't seem to think were important. The major one being the power drivers seat did not operate if you were sitting in it. Kind of a big deal. Nice guys to talk to though. Only reason I wouldn't go back is its just too far from where I live. They did get back to me right away and kept in touch sending me more pictures I asked for and did so in a timely manner and emailed the day before asking if I was still coming in so communication was great. Just wasn't the condition Corvette I wanted.

I Called st Charles motor cars about a vehicle that came available on thurs Zack answered we agreed to meet Friday morn , I went there first thing Friday ,on behalf of my son whom was working , zak was knowledgeable about the vehicle and was very helpful while I tried to broker the deal over the phone with my son , he decided to purchase the car , Zack helped with financing and agreed to look over a few incidentals , so far the seem like a straight shooters , il see tomorrow if they get a fifth star

I attempted to purchase their Lexus RX 300. I put
$500 down on the car on June 12th with the
intention of paying for the rest in full when the O2
sensors and passenger side window motor were
fixed. 7 days later I call for an update and speak
with the sales rep who sold me the car and he
said I can come pick it up Wednesday. I call
Wednesday and the rep that sold me the car has
the day off and the guy that took my call in his
absence couldn't tell me where the car was
initially and then never called me back with an
update. I call the next day and the rep that sold
me the car told me they are now unable to fix the
car and have to rescind their offer. Leaving me
out to dry after leaving me hanging without a car
for over a week. And to top it off, they re listed the
car to try to sell to someone else after my
purchase was canceled.

The sales went well,with a resonable price resulting in my purchase. The only problem was the fact of my only receiving one key. The tag on the key was marked 2 of 2. The sales person was notified of the over sight and stated he would look for the missing key and call me back. This didn't happen. Other than this problem, I was completely with the purchase and would have rated it a 10

The dealer did all he was expected to do. I bought a very low miles "as is" car but it isn't quite as perfect as I had hoped. The car had experienced a minor mishap that is not listed on "Car-Fax" and I did not detect it until three days later. I am sure the dealer was not aware of this condition. The dealer treated me well and as a whole, it was a satisfactory experience.

Emailed on a Friday expressing serious interest in the car. Called and spoke to Zack Saturday morning. I had one question about the condition of the panoramic roof, and said if it was okay, I wanted to know the best cash price, and I was willing to make a nonrefundable deposit for the car. Zack said he would check the sunroof, talk to his manager, and get back to me. He never called back. I called Monday and was told they sold the car Saturday afternoon. Right out from under me. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend any online shoppers from out of state to shop here. They can't be trusted.

Zak was very professional,test drived the BENZ,had few issues. Wasnt too
happy on the car fax results thou,had serious issues addressed for a car
with only 75,300 miles......
Before I drove 55 miles from the Chicago area to
see this car I called St. Charles Motors and talked to
Justin. I was interested buying an 04 Corvette and
trading in my 05 Miata. Not wanting to drive the
Miata to St. Charles without an agreed upon out the
door price, I sent him current photos of the Miata.
We talked and agreed on a price for the Vette and
my trade in. I drove to St. Charles in the Miata. Test
drove the Corvette. It was in fine shape. So I bought
the Vette. One other thing. After my test drive I
noticed that the vanity mirrors in the Vette weren't
working. Instead of him saying the car is "as is"
Justin had his people check it out and they fixed
them before I left. They took the extra step to please
a customer.
These guy's were great.

We arrived to purchase a car listed for sell. The owner had
accepted a refundable deposit from a buyer per telephone,
would not sell the car. The car was not taken off inventory for
over a week. They helped us find another at a dealership
several hours away. It was weird. I think the car should sell to
the buyer who shows up with the funds. Call before you go!!

extremely friendly, helpful, and tried.
LOVE MY NEW CAR!!! I Just purchased a car from St. Charles Motorcars and this place is great. These guys have a very nice selection of cars with really good prices. I was able to talk with them on the phone and leave a deposit on the car so that when got there it was ready for me. The place is not like a conventional dealership with all the run around. They are fast and fun to deal with and offer a really nice place to buy a car. I will recommend this place to all my friends…thanks guys!!

A very enjoyable experiance, salesman was very cooperative, gave me the price I wanted, the car was extremely nice, unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances I could not purchase the car at this time although I wanted to and made all the arrangements. Maby at a later date. I would never hesitate to do business with St Charles again.
