However, we are independent from them the clicking on the purchase button on CarGurus does not mean the vehicle has been purchased! I am confused as to what offer you made as none came our way and no payment was made when we spoke. We received an expression of interest and we receive these daily and we reply to them however, an expression of interest is not the same as a sale where full payment is made a

Last Monday we were incredibly busy and absolutely we can confirm we had the pleasure of speaking to you in the morning and as soon as we finished the call afterwards we had customer after customer at the dealership in person either test driving or purchasing a vehicle. We are not complaining about being busy that day just explaining why we did not respond quickly. This continued to be the case until about 3 or 3:30 pm and then I started to prepare your email and when I was going to send you the information a colleague of mine informed me that a few minutes prior he had sold the vehicle and indeed the customer drove it off the lot.
We most sincerely appreciate any and every query we get from any prospective customer and in your case I was in the process of sending you pictures before any work was completed on the vehicle, shipping cost and also out of door price however, a customer walked in paid for and drove the vehicle off the lot before I had the chance to do so!. We had not at any stage taken any deposit from you to secure the purchase We could only hold a vehicle if you pay a deposit and this was not the case here. what we had at that time and what we get daily on many occasions are interests from customers and some indeed purchase a vehicle and others do not.  In the State of Michigan we cannot do online purchases as everything has to be physically signed so there is no virtual buying and we do not offer it. We would have had to send you the paperwork to sign.
Excuse my long reply however, it is important to explain fully what took place from our own perspective.
