Would have given ZERO stars if possible!! Extremely disappointed in our experience with this dealership:( Tried to leave this review at that but have been asked for more info. Tried to enter a detailed description so readers could judge for themselves, but space didn't allow so I will add this: 1.We were lied to by the on-line contact. 2.The on-site salesman couldn't locate on the lot, the pre-owned cars we'd indicated in advance, we wanted to see. 3.He tried harder to "sell us" on working with him than to sell us a vehicle. 4.They tried hardshell tactics and intimidation to discourage us from continuing to shop for what we really wanted. 5.The one car we could test-drive had damage that was not indicated on the listing. 👎👎👎👎👎

Very responsive in returning emails. My main comment is car is clearly advertised as “Certified” at a specified price. That specified price should include any costs to get it to that certified point. Advertising a low sales price and dropping $1595 in mando certification fees is misleading. Car is simply not for sale at the posted price. Mando document fee is $347, which is reasonable for the market.

the dealer said that no pre-purchase inspection is allowed off location, your mechanic must travel to their shop. This policy should have been explained before the appointment, as the question was asked but not specifically answered. the dealer should have revealed the extensive rust though on the body panels in the photo line-up.

I showed up to check out a Hawkeye wrx. No test drive was allowed even though it’s 10+ years old with 150k on odo. They didn’t even take credit into consideration. Salesman wasn’t too knowledgeable about older Subarus. Once I got into serious inquiries regarding receipts on engine maintenance, negotiations broke down. He was honest and all he could show was a carfax, which isn’t enough evidence for an older ej. Didn’t waste our time though, quick and to the point. Honestly, not a good place to buy collectible or vintage cars.

Although I found a car elsewhere before I could see this one the dealership was very prompt in answering my questions. Alas this is becoming an increasingly rare occurrence. A salesperson contact me a couple of times and I had a follow-up from the manager. I took the survey for this company because they showed some interest in me and I wanted them to have my feedback.

Though I never actually got out there to check and test drive the car, my agent, Jeff Calhoun was great!! Kept in touch, understood my needs and went above and beyond to get the car from the detailing and body shop. He shared with me the truth about less staff working during these current times thus causing some slow down in their usual process. Sent me pictures of what work on the body was waiting for repair. I understand and am frankly in that same position with reduction of hours/staff where I work. Jeff was great even tho we ultimately did not buy that car. I wish we could have bought from Jeff. Good, honest, listening, adaptive kind of Salesman. Often a rare quality in this business! I will recommend him highly!

I was interested in 2 vehicles they had on the lot with in 24 hrs come to find out they were both sold and I was still told they were available once I told them “no it shows online both are sold”. They claim they sold the night before but has no intentions on letting a potential customer know but they did state they put a similar car aside for me to look at. I drive 50 minutes and the car I was showed was nothing similar the sales guy who Bri hd help me clearly showed no interest in helping me! The min I said no I don’t like it he said ok I’ll go put it back and never came back out to help me! Waste of my time and drive! I ended up purchasing a 2017 the same day at a diff dealer near by who showed interest in helping me out!

I bought my new used car here at the end of April. The process was low key. I loved that. I was given a fair offer and a fair trade-in value for my vehicle. I was disappointed that the driver’s heated seat was broken. I was given $300 for that (although I learned it will probably be double that to fix it). I wish they would have informed me how long XM radio would be on my car. Overall, I am satisfied.

A Napleton Subaru salesman replied to me with an invitation to test drive their 2016 car. After a couple of weeks, I made it out,, saw the car in person, and did a test drive. It was nice,, but not in mint condition for only 2 years old and low miles. (worn front tires, curbed wheels, a number of nicks and scratches on the paint. Additionally the "tire alert" warning light was on. I was told it was just from sitting in the cold...sadly, no effort was made to correct the warning light situation before or after the test drive. We could not agree on a trade in value for my 2013 car.. (which I'm pretty sure they never even opened up to look at, or test drove).. So no deal was made.. Nice people, salesman was very pleasant, not pushy, but the sales manager was not ready to deal on a car that has been on their lot for about 6 months. Sadly the 2 hour round trip and 90min at the dealership was for naught.

I found a car online with an acceptable price. I arranged financing via the phone and accepted at list price. I drove 3.5 hours to the dealership. I had written agreement with sales man on price and that everything was complete just sign and drive. I arrived to a purchase order with a $500 increase from agreed price. When I asked to change the price the new purchase order came out with the change but the bottom line only decreased by $100 approx. I inquired as to how that could be. They remarked that they had left off an important title fee from the first buyers order of about $400. Funny that they would let me sign the original purchase agreement 10 minutes earlier without this mystery fee until I called them out of the pricing issue. I explained that I don't care where the $400 came from but that the purchase agreement should reflect the full $500 change or I would walk. They refused and I went on my way. They wasted 7+ hours of my time. They also mentioned how this was

Had a deal worked out, then they changed everything to their benefit. We walked away, we dont deal with people who give their word and a handshake then call you one hour later and want to change everything. If you are not as good as your word then how good are you?

The pics of the car didn't show stains and when I discussed this with the salesman, his solution was to try an upsell (basically adding the cost of addressing the stains to the price advertised on CarGurus.) When I decided to walk away, "the" salesman came out and agreed to take care of the seat stains without additional cost. I didn't appreciate the attempt to add expense to something that was less than what the pictures offered.

Very disappointing service received from this dealership. I had great interest in one of their cars and made a phone call stating that and wether the car was negotiable or not. In response they said yes of course just come and take a look. So I decided to come in and take a look and found that they raised the price with additional fees. I found that shocking so I asked why and they said because they had detailed the car and buffed it. No longer negotiating their price with me so I left. They kept my id from Thursday till Monday and finally called to tell me about my drivers license.

Ray the salesman was great. After 1.5 hours of negotiating the manager came out to "help" get the deal done but came back with an offer that was actually higher than the price that was online. Finally got it cheaper but was like pulling teeth. Salesman great, manager not so great.

I found the general demeanor of the individuals I interacted with to be rather condescending and rude considering we were there to aspiring to make a purchase. It is one thing to turn down an offer, but to be snide and domineering during a negotiation is very unprofessional in my opinion. At the end of the day who wants to give money to people that are abusive and inconsiderate? Not me. Character counts. I hope they rethink their approach to what they consider respectful and decent behavior.

My experience was horrible. Drove over an hour to see this car. Then they wouldn't let me test drive unless we wrote up paper work on the deal. How do I know if I even want the car unless I drive it. The finance guy was very rude. He said by righting up paper work they know I'm serious about the car. I drove over an hour! I think I'm serious. I think they were just lazy and didn't want to air up the flat tire or jump the battery. Nice presentation schaumburg subaru

This dealer is a scam. The car was $2900 and some how they came up with the total price of $ 4300, they told me its was paper work fee and taxes. This is not my first car I try to buy. They really underestimate my intelligence. I'll never come back to this dealer. The bright side I didn't buy the car. I give this dealer a half star if I can. What's a wasted of my time..

Napelton was quivk to respond to my email request. They arranged for me to see and test drive the suv iI was interested in for the next day. When i arrived i was promptly greeted and given to Khalid El-Gazzar as my salesperson. Khalid (Kal) was courteous and attentive during the whole process.. We came to a mutual agrrement on price quickly and before I knew it I was driving my new suv home. Nice smooth transaction.

The first dealership we visited and closed the deal. Cesar was helping us since the beginning, very courteous and knowledgeable. The best part was their willingness to do business and were genuinely interested in helping us. We were looking for a trade in and initially it was a tough one to conclude on but Jonathan, the Manager stepped in and worked out a good/satisfactory deal with us. We spent the whole day there but was completely worth because of the the nice staff and their genuine interest. Even the Finance team was very helpful. I am an owner of a Crosstrek Limited 2015 now :) Thanks guys!! Definitely worth visiting if you are considering a Subaru.

Important to know appropriate vs. inappropriate conversation, questions to bring up when conducting sale process. Professionalism is important in every circumstance. Felt like a waste of time for all involved but glad we checked out the car.

Had to request the title for my purchase, used car service history as a selling point but could not produce receipts or actual work completed on vehicle. Pushy sales man, don't by a used car from Napletons
