They sold the car I was looking at before my scheduled appointment time, then didn't inform me until after my scheduled appointment time. (Thankfully this website let me know the car was sold.) Terribly unprofessional and could've wasted a ton of my time.

I inquired about a vehicle they told me it wasn’t available anymore so then over a span of a week I was getting calls and text one person would say it was available then the next person would say it’s not but they had other cars I could come in and look at. I knew I definitely didn’t want to look at anything else at this dealership because obviously they are liars.

general manager are completely unethical. Anything they
say should be questioned and ask for written proof. They
completely botched my entire sale many times and
wouldn't even give me my own pirchased vehicle for 10

Price quotes was significantly lower then dealers around. Emailed asking for an actual out the door price (assuming price included offers that aren’t for everyone). Would not give me a quote even after was told wouldn’t make the drive over there without knowing a true price. From what I can tell their prices they are quoting include all incentives and don’t include any extra features on the car. Be weary as they are really just trying to get you into dealership

Sales guy set up the appointment and even confirmed car would be there ready for us. We drove 2 hours to get there and was in out of cell phone reception at times.. showed up to hear from the manager the car was at a different location getting repaired… apparently missed his call due though. Ironically, sales guy called two hours later asking if we were still planning on coming in…

Was interested in a Nissan rogue. Online inquired about it. Said it was available, drove over. Said it sold. Ok no big deal.
Next day while car shopping received a notification saying price drop on it!?!? Then an email asking if still interested in it. Replied thought it’d sold, they said they’d check, said it’s available. I asked to double verify, couple hours went by said they had keys in hand. Called and talked to them on the phone. Said they were sorry for the confusion but said they had the keys and set me up a vip appointment. 15 mins later I’m there. Nothing ViP about it. Acted like first they’d heard about it. Couldn’t find keys or suv. Finally after waiting and waiting said they don’t have it. So lied in emails and phone calls. And I was out time and gas money and multiple trips. Pretty sure it’s a scam to get you into the dealer. For days had left the car still listed for sell until I posted a google review and like 10 minutes later car was then listed as sold.

The vehicle had a considerable amount of noticeable damage throughout the body, as well as the interior, and the sales persons and assistant managers acted as if they were unaware of very obvious invisible damage to the vehicle, including overspray on two components within the engine compartment, front collision damage that was not reflected in the Carfax report, a large dent in the roof of the vehicle that was not reflected in the Carfax and the general managers unwillingness to negotiate a lower price in light of the damage. Very horrible buying experience, and would not shop at that dealership again.
Never got to test drive the vehicle but they drove mines which has 40000 less miles than the one I wanted. Trade in and down payment was not good
enough with my pre-approved letter, looked at me like I was not capable of purchasing the car. I had to go outside call them and inquire about the car
before anyone noticed me.

Very respectful and professional!!! Ive bought over 15 vehicles from many dealers and was never treated this well!!
Tried to give a zero but 1/5 was the lowest it would let me do. Absolutely garbage time! Called to see if it was there was told it was (they double checked even). Got there… it was sold the day previous. They offered to have us checkout another car like it. They pulled around front and it was a car that had issues. Relatives have had similar and even worse issues with this dealer. Also know for tacking on abnormal amount of fees and such.

the car was messing up & the dealership lies to try and get more money out of you. they took my down payment and gave me keys and then told me i can't have the car until the following day and then 2 days after, I was able to come back in and told my
financial application wasn't going through. they were only able to give me a check back days after they took my cash down payment.

The transmission went out on a basically brand new car but it was used. It only had 5,000 miles on it and they waited to tell me this information until I got there but they was blowing me up all day. So they knew my age I’m 18 and they knew my credit score but I told them I don’t have a co singer and i didn’t want to put any money down and they still ran my credit and ended up telling me I needed a co singer and/or money down I feel like I got played and they knew what I they was doing and didn’t care

Classic Bait and Switch sales strategy. The advertised price is not really the sales price. The salesman couldn't tell us the price as they had to add a Service fee, which increased the advertised price by $2000. Total wastes of a Saturday dealing with a deceptive business.

Watch out! $1700 in FEES that they prefer not to tell you about until they’ve got you there. Bait and Switch is the name of their game. The 2017 Cruz was advertised for $11,400. It did not have the options as listed in their CarGurus page. A $199 fees for paperwork seems reasonable but the $1500 service fee that they claim all their cars undergo is laughable. On a car with only 24k miles there isn’t $1500 worth of ‘service’ to be done. Deceptive dealer. Too many lies and hidden fees. Very disappointed. A big waste of time.

Drove 1.5 hours and they could not find car. I called before I went and had to make an appointment, when I arrived at my appointment time, I was told I had to wait, waited about an hour for them to tell me the car was in detail, and then that they couldn't find it.

Duane at the St.Peters location is a no pressure type of guy. He advised me he can’t spend my money, but willing to assist. I haven’t purchased my car yet. But I will see him when I’m ready.

I went in to see this vehicle and I am now the proud owner of it. I did travel some way for the vehicle
but everyone there we worked with was exceptional! They worked very well with me being a college
student and being on a budget. This vehicle was beautiful and I am so glad it is now mine! Great

One of the worst experiences I’ve had...
Looked for 1st vehicle for my daughter.
Too aggressive and the vehicle that I was asked to come see by four different people via emails, texts and phone calls hadn’t even been through their shop. How can you price a vehicle that you know nothing about? I was sent a video from them for wrong vehicle I inquired about. Vehicle was dirty, oil extremely dark, air filters bad and obviously was in an accident that wasn’t on the carfax. I was asked for feedback by GM and never received a reply. Vehicle is over priced for fair market value in its condition. They do not care or listen to customers, communicate with each other and just want the quick sale. Don’t be a sucker and stick with a more trustworthy local dealer... LF

I can never get a straight answer from these guys or even get the same person more than once!. Every car listed under KBB Value is unavailable but other more expensive cars are ready. Wow. Seems awfully convenient that only their high-priced vehicles are available.
Called me at all times of day through third party callers (not local employees) always telling me I needed to come in.
Avoid these guys like the plague!

I can’t write everything needed to explain the interactions I’ve had with this dealership but they have been horrible. I purchased a car from them a week ago and have had nothing but issues. There are multiple things they have attempted to cover up such as mechanical, electrical, and Cosmetic issues. I’ve attempted to speak to a manager many times with no contact. I’ve left reviews and a manager has commented on them asking me to call. I call and I get the secretary or someone other than the manager with no call back from the manager. I’m stuck with a newer, low mileage, unreliable vehicle. Don’t let it happen to you.

Worst experience I've had in viewing possibility purchasing a car. Setup an appointment to view the car. Appointment was confirmed. The morning of my Appointment I reviewed a call from a lady confirming my evening appointment 5pm. I had a chance to get there earlier around 230pm. I informed them that I was there to see the Veloster. I was waiting awhile for the sales person to come back and tell me the car was no longer there. I asked what happened. And they stated the car was sold the evening before. Mind you. I got a confirmation call for my appointment that morning. At no time did anyone call and state the car had been sold prior to my arrival . I was hot and disappointed. Believing I was mislead. Wasted my travel and gas. I emailed the contacts that left messages from my contact with cargurus stating my disappointment. I never received a reply. If allowed I would give them less an 1 star. Unprofessional sales.
I inquired through car gurus about the truck, received a phone call very quickly. The dealer asked if I could come in and see the vehicle that day. I said I could probably be there about 4:30. Couple hours later I received a text with a link to a video from a visual marketing specialist. The video was very personal, she told me she had the truck ready for me to come and check it out, gave me her number, and I texted back saying cool, I’ll be there at 4:30! I called the number around 2:00 to verify the appointment for 4:30 to look at the truck. I showed up at 4:30, and the salesperson said cool, let me go get the keys! She comes back and said they had sold the truck that morning! Very dissatisfied because I wasted my time! Napleton spent more time over communicating with me about having a truck ready to come and check out, then they did actually making sure that they have the truck ready for me to come and check out. I hope they learned a lesson from this! I won’t be back there!
This vehicle either never existed in this dealer's
inventory or not at the price listed, yet it
continues to appear on CarGurus. This is a
classic case of bait and switch. This dealership
has received over 40% ratings of just 1out of 5
stars for apparently good reasons. I feel that this
dealership is "shady" at best in it's advertising
and business practices, and would recommend
that buyers beware and shop elsewhere!

I felt as though I was deceived in going there. The man that I spoke with on the phone said the labor weekend offered an additional $2,500 off the black book of my trade in. I get there and drove the car and after we where done and started working on the numbers they said they didn't offer that special on the weekend of labor day. The general manager got involved and said he would pull up the voice recording from the person who set the appointment - I have never heard back. I took time out of my day to drive to the dealership - 2 hours each way and 2 hours at the dealership to come away with this experience- I felt was un ethical and lacked integrity in doing business. I have bought cars from two competing dealer sin St. Louis and didn't have a problem on the agreed upon amount before driving there. Needless to say it a very disappointing experience. I have been in the business of sales for almost 30 years and train on customer service and will use this as a model of what not to do.

My experienece, we arrived there. I expected to see the car that I had seen on website (new car amd white colour 14.000 dollars).
It was showed used a car with 10.000 miles and 14.700 dollars year 2018.
I am very disappointed my first expeirencinin big Dealrs rush all the time to buy a car, it is so boring this maner to sell under pressure the costumers. Never more I will go there.

Did not care for the initial car we went to see. When I went back to look at others, car salesman got our hopes up for a car he said was in our price range. After test driving and waiting for the price from his manager, it was nowhere in our price range. Wasted almost 2 hours of our time at this dealership. Would never buy a car from them, nor would I ever recommend them.

Brandon Elliot is the salesperson to ask for! He was great to deal with and seemed to genuinely care for our concerns about car buying. Gotta watch out for the managers sales tactics but as long as you can do simple math and check the managers numbers you’ll be happy.

First of all, I simply clicked on the drop down on Car Gurus asking dealer "I'd like to know the best price for this." I must
have had at least 5 salesman email me, however, no one would give me their best price. I emailed one salesman back
forth 3 or 4 times, but never got an answer. All they would do was try to get me into dealership. Then they raised the
price on line by $3000. I would not recommend this dealership, unless you enjoy playing the old car salesman games.

Disconnect from the corporate office and individual location. Told corporate I wanted to purchase but individual location sold vehicle later.
Corporate kept calling to schedule appointment telling me the vehicle was still available even though it was sold the day before.

Cody was nice, but otherwise terrible experience. They were shady. They advertised 6,000$ less on CarGurus than what they offered us. They had a strange show going on where they walked around and acted like they were doing something important and made us wait around for over 2 hours while they made a couple other high offers. We then had to meet two other people who were sent to look like the “closers” maybe?!?! It was unprofessional, sketchy and a huge waste of time. I felt like it was a skit from SNL or Punked.

All the people at Napleton were very friendly, i
must have met 4 or 5 people, including the sales
manager. I went their 1st, to test drive an Altima
SV. The car was fine, just what I wanted. Now it
became time to negotiate. I was not happy with
their price on the car, nor the amount of money
offered for my 2013 Altima SV. Their price on
their website does not include something called
the
"Napleton experience package" cost $1,395. Plus
the normal $199 Admin. fee. I went their
because
of their website pricing. But I didn't read the
small print, where the Napleton experience
package is
listed as not included in price (No mention of
how much that cost). Bottom line, I walked out

This has got to be the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I have had 22 Emails, 15
different sales people call me. I went out to the dealership to have the VIP treatment, I was
there 20 minutes no one waited on me so I left. Next day I get 5 phone calls to tell me they
are sorry they missed me. I told then just to give me a price over the phone. They give me a
price for more then the internet price. Then the changed the price from 34,000 to 34,750. Do
not buy from here they have no clue whats going on. I was looking at a new 2018 Nissan
Murano Platinum AWD. I will buy from someone I can trust. Please save your time don't go
to Napleton. Please read there reviews.

I made an appointment to look a a vehicle. Got bombarded by dealer phone calls and e-mails confirming my appointment. Appointment was for 4:15 the following day. Get a call at 1:30 the day of they couldn’t find the vehicle didn’t know where it was found out it was sold later but kept getting calls from the dealer weeks later. Funny thing is the vehicle was just listed as sold 3 weeks after it actually was!

Quick responses! Unfortunately, before we could purchase and test drive the vehicle, it sold. The manager on site called to inform us of the sale prior to our apt so that our time was not wasted and did not try to push coming in for a different sale. I am still receiving texts and calls from different sales people saying we missed our apt, which is the reason for the 4 star rating, but I'm sure this is an automated glitch in the computer system.

Very quick to reply to me. However would not answer my pricing questions without filling out credit form. I was 600 miles away and need firm info before I would have made the trip. For other reasons i decided the time was not right for me.
Its probably the worst dealership experience I have encountered. Loud music and inexperienced salesperson.
I was ready to buy but they kept me waiting 30 mins. even after I told them I have to leave for an appointment.
They never got back to me with the info. Two days later I bought a car from another dealer.

Drove over two hours away for a car we were
told was still available. When we got there, we
were told it was sold an hour before we got
there. No one called or anything. Better yet, no
one even knew we were scheduled to show up
because they apparently have a call center in
Florida. So the person I spoke with on the phone
isn’t even in state and had no communication
with the dealership. We were reassured we
would be given the number I was told over the
phone for our trade in. When we got there, they
offered us $3,500 less and it’s a trash system
they use for determining what they will give you
for your vehicle. We are in a rough situation and
we were reassured time and time again they
were going to work with us and blah blah blah.
No one will answer their phone and when
someone does, we were constantly given the run
around. Even when we were asked to call back
and did? Given the run around or whoever we
were asking for? Gone. We just purchased from
another dealership.

I confirmed with salesperson the night before that the vehicle was available. My wife, four kids, and I showed up at our appointment time and the vehicle wasn't available. We were told it was in the shop and wouldn't be available for viewing for until 5 days later. Common courtesy was obviously lacking.
Napleton was sincerely interested in my business. They did a great job of answering my questions and return my inquiries quickly.

Horrible, emailed them slow to respond. Had car listed at one price,
when I called it was significantly higher. When I asked why they said
that was "all" the discounts combined. Which there is no way for an
individual to be eligible for. I left and went to another dealership where I
purchased one of their vehicles.

Saw 2017 Nissan Altima SL Tech package at Car Gurs. Called this dealership before going there to confirm the price in car gurus is what they are ready to sell. The
salesman on the phone said, he is ready to sell the car due to month end and they are going to start the construction and need to move the vehicles. I went there and
learned that the sale man on the phone just attends the calls. The sale man on the floor gave me an offer 24,565. The price in the car gurus is 19,890. They told me that
the price in car gurus is with all the discounts.
I called back the salesman on the phone and told him what happened. He said he is going to get back to me. That was five days back.

Went to Mapleton Nissan to look at a 2007(?) Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo. It had not been detailed or inspected. My father and I asked if they had anything else for 8k or less. The carslesman with a missing tooth(not making fun, don't know a name) said they didn't have anything for 8 or less and to come back tomorrow and they would have the jeep detailed and inspected. 2 days later I go back, jeep is still full of dog hair and French fries and had not been inspected. Another pushy salesmen tried showing me cars I didn't like, was annoying, and was a liar. He said he'd call the next day after the jeep was cleaned and inspected. Didn't hear from them for another 2 days. By then I was done with napleton nissian.

Prompt response with pricing information.
Went in and test drove a car. Called back the next day and offered a dollar amount and asked my sales rep to call me back if that offer could be met. She she was sure it could be. She then texted the next day said she had the figure confirmed but when I went in that night to buy the car, that figure was refused. I walked out. The next day thinking I would counter offer, and through a series of back and forth texts we came to a deal. I told her I wanted to have my mechanic look at the vehicle before I signed the paper work. I was going to go in that eve to get the financing started but she said to wait till the next day after I had the inspection to start that. 8:00pm that eve she texted and informed me not to worry about coming by the next day. The car had sold. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES AND LIES!!!

After reaching out to the dealer via cargurus, they contacted me and
provided a no hassle price in writing, which proved to be a hassle. Once I
arrived they said I had to qualify for the so called no hassle price and quoted
me a price nearly $6000 more even though my quote clearly said this was
the no hassle price and that I could qualify for additional discounts if I
qualified. They eventually admitted it was a mistake. I was later contacted by
the GM via email and told him the same thing but never heard back. The
good news is they did correct the price from 24,6.. to 29,126. Had I known
this was the price walking in, I would not have wasted my time and the time
of the salesman at the dealership. Poor communication and no apologies for
wasting my time. The only reason they get two stars is that they corrected
their price for future buyers who are willing to pay near MSRP, other than that
it shows the only thing they care about is the bottom line, not the customer
or return business. I've owned 4 Nissan vehicles in the past that I bought
from a different dealership and thought I would give Napleton a shot.
Needless to say, I will be sticking with the other dealership.
I saw a used car online at a decent price. Some of the reviews of the
dealership weren't great but i thought i'd give them a chance. I called to
ask about the car to get a test drive. They called me back to confirm.
When i got there i was told it had been sold so i wasted a trip. Lots of
alternatives to buy a Nissan in town and i will go to one of those instead.

I have had 6 Nissan leases and have visited and worked with almost all the STL dealers (some better than others). Today I purchased a used 2014 Rogue and had a great sales experience. At times things seemed a little confused but it all got sorted out without any problems. I felt I was treated fairly and with respect and at no point was there a hard sell or sense of bad behavior on the part of any of the sales staff. The dealership is new and the showroom a bit old/ dismal but everyone made the most of things. I know there are some mixed reviews here but IMHO, my used car sales experience was very positive. to date I do not have any service experiences to review.

This dealer promptly replied to my inquiries. However, The price listed on Carguru is not the actual price. Had it been accurate, I would have been inclined to further pursue this vehicle. The actual price was just shy of 37k, a fairly wide discrepancy.
The dealer explained the price listed was only for local clients. My zip code was not part of the incentive, which brought the price down to 31,950.

listed at that price and the salesman did not know and said that he would
call me back. When he called back he told me that $14999 is the "lease
price" on the car. The listing says nothing at all about this. I wish that all of
these dealers would put the true prices for their cars, so that I don't waste
my time contacting them.
