I had an excellent experience at this dealership from start to finish. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. They took the time to answer all my questions, walk me through my options, and make sure I felt confident in my decision. The buying process was smooth and transparent, with no surprises or pressure.
Liars
Drove 2 hours for absolutely nothing. They lured me in affirming the vehicle requested was available. When arrived. "OH, it sold - but we can show you others" They then tried to bribe with a giftcard. I left immediately.
All that, for nothing.

Priced $20,294 on website but out the door fee would inclde a dealer doc fee of $380 and $1,999 for the MCT Protection package. When I expressed interest in purchase without MCT Protection package the replies to my inquiry stopped being a saleperson and became automated encouraging me to come in and speak to the service manager. Too much run around.

I visited the site on one day to preview the vehicle of interest. It took some time to get a person to respond to me once on-site. Once on-site, I walked around the vehicle and observed many flaws (i.e., scratches, nicks, marks, etc.) which for some reason was not communicated in the online advertisement. This leads me to believe that it was either maliciously or deliberately done to deceive a possible buyer.

I was contacted by the internet sales manager Marcy and told she had the vehicle we wanted to buy in hand. We told her we were on our way (our drive was about an hour) she told us it was no worries she had the vehicle. We arrive at the dealership, waited over 30 minutes for her to come out and she never showed. I called her twice and no answer. We were then approached by a gentleman who said he would help us in stead of Marcy even though when I asked someone else while we were waiting for her to show inform us it was against company rules/policy for them to help me since Marcy had already reached out and started the process. I told him we were there to see the specific car Marcy had her “hands on.” He then proceeded to bring a manager to us who informed us the car had been sold and was no longer on the lot. It sold in less than an hour of us arriving, sounds like poor customer service, bait and switch. Teach your employees to be better humans

Ok so the sales rep Julio Rubio was great, bought a car as planned from him. The car was supposed to be Gold Certified but has too many minor faults. Microphone not connected, rear passenger door not opening from inside, clicking sound when opening the passenger front door. Service department is horrible particularly one of the reps who answer the phone. I have requested to speak to a manager about this so that the car actually gets certified because clearly somethings were missing and I am not getting a call back. I have emailed the general manager mike and I hope to get a response at some point. Good business but there are always a few bad eggs that ruin the hard work. Its a shame.

I was contacted by the dealership and told the vehicle was still available. My wife goes to see it in person and she’s told it “just sold”. A week later it’s still showing online..seems like they use it as click bait.

I purchased my last car at Mike Calvert and had all my service conducted there since 2002. I received an
email with an offer to test drive a car and get a gift certificate for test driving a car. I did the test drive and
received the form to redeem the certificate and it did not work! I called Christian the sales associate that I
did the test drive with and he was to contact his superior and nothing was done! It was a minor amount of
money, but I felt a very deceptive practice to not honor the certificate.
Since I assertively began my new car search I have had numerous contact from Mike Calvert wanting me to
come in and I Won't as I am So disappointed in the way I was treated. I would think a loyal customer of over
20 years would have been treated better!
I will take my business elsewhere where I will be celebrated as a customer and not treated in this very
disrespected manner!

We were so excited to purchase a car for my son. I told him we were willing to
pay full asking price plus TTL and asked if there were any other hidden
"dealer" fees. He said there were no fees except a reconditioning fee that he
felt certain he could get waived (as 2 other dealers had done in their quotes
to us). He verified the agreed upon amount and I asked to hold the car while
we make the 3 hour drive there. I asked him to please send the invoice...3
different times. It finally arrived when I was almost there, and the price was
$4000 higher than the agreed amount. His manager got on the phone and
talked down to me as if this were my first car purchase. He was rude and
belittling and wouldn't budge on the inflated price. We turned around and
went to another dealership instead. Buyer beware...they list their prices low
then tack on THOUSANDS of dollars in extra fees when you get there!! I
should have read reviews first as others have had the same problem with
them.
The car was not at all what I expected, very creative photography (deceptive). The internet sales department didn’t disclose that the car was real obviously wrecked (not repaired at all) and then the “manager type “ who came to close the deal after the idiot flunkie accompanied me on the test drive, offered to fix the wrecked front end and replace the broken windscreen, but for more money on an already way overpriced car. I guess they cater to a bunch of idiots, what they lack in quality- they make up for in quantity. Pretty crappy experience.
Avoid these people. I called to talk to a salesperson and ended up talking to the most unenthusiastic salesman I’ve ever spoken with. I had them run some numbers for me and they send me a price that was $8,000 higher than the price listed online. I understand tax, title, and license have an added cost but 8 grand was egregious. I asked for an itemized list of what the charges were and never received a response. Really shady business.

I had communicated with a gentleman named Ebenezer. When I arrive we were introduced and he immediately introduced me to a lovely young lady that would be with me the remainder of the of my time. We went out and I saw the car and took it for a test drive, I loved the car !!! She did everything she could to get me into the Highlander. My husband had a figure in mind and he would not go over that. She worked as hard as she could but we were 2200.00 difference. My husband had increased his bottom line by 3000.00 and wouldn’t move. So I drove my 2017 Acura RDX home and parked it in the garage. I wish I could remember her name because she is really AMAZING and Mike Calvert Toyota is very fortunate to have her.

Worst experience with a dealer, found a 2024 bmw x5 M60 for sale, called ahead and confirmed it was available, received two phone calls to confirm I was going to the appointment and car was meant to be ready for a test drive. Drove 40 minutes and waited another 30 min sitting in the sales cubicle/room until the Salesperson came to pick us up, then walk us through rows of used cars and only then tell us the car sold but they had a Mercedes to show us instead. Surreal experience, I am never setting foot at a Mike Culvert dealership again . What a joke.

My experience was alright. On cargurus, The price for the truck is $22,999. When I got there, they said that
cargurus is a 3rd party sight and that the truck was 37,000 dollars. I was shocked with this price. I had driven
far to get to this truck. They were able to drop the final price down to 29,980. They also charge you a few
thousand for clean up on the truck and a full tank of gas. When I had gotten the truck, with furthur
inspection, I saw that the truck has not been cleaned up that well at all, A part of the frame had been
damaged, and one of the ball joints was almost completely out. I have spent a lot more money fixing up this
truck when I already paid about 2,500 for them to go through everything. IF YOU PLAN TO BUY FROM
THIS PLACE, have a picture of the price FROM THEIR WEBSITE. Not car gurus. I would even ask them to
bring the truck to a mechanic shop to make sure everything is what they say.

Thank you”. Their offer written on a paper from the dealership was $31500. I’m glad I followed the reviews. It was a WASTE of time.

Called about purchasing a truck, they said it was available. I said I'm intending to buy today, they said "sounds great, when will you be here?" I get there and the entire dash is removed (being worked on) so I can't test drive it. To repeat, they knew I wanted to buy today and still advised me to make a 3 hour round trip (they were informed where I was driving from) just to be told it couldn't be test-driven... The salesman I spoke to was exceedingly professional and understanding. But this location smacks of shady lower management practices. I would steer clear.
Stay away from this dealership! Got to the dealership and they wanted to sell me a used 2023 Corolla for almost $28k. Left us waiting for 15 min it es sitting and waiting for the representative. Apparently we weren’t the only ones, we overheard another lady saying she had been waiting for over 30 mins while the sales people stood around. Horrible sales tactics!

They honored the price and financing was great
The process still takes a while even with pre qualified financing and cash down.
But ultimately we got a great deal on a great car.
Just got played by this dealership. This car is posted for what seems like a great deal, too good, but I expect to pay
more than they're showing anyhow. Spoke with them, gave them the stock number, they 'checked GPS' on it and said
the car is indeed inbound, gave me the color of the interior and exterior (white and black), and asked when I could come
by. Said they'd send me the spec sheet. Next day I call back. They send me the spec sheet for a completely different car
(same car, completely different colors) and $13k more than the car they showed on the website!! Said, ohh, well we
don't actually have that car and it's not coming, but we can bring this one in and here's our 5k markup on it, along with
no discount as was shown on the OG listing. They never had it or intended to sell it for their listed price. All a ruse.
THEN, the third day I submit an info request through CarGurus. They call me and say, the car IS ON THE LOT. Then
say, oh, but it's green... Save your time. All lies!!

Went to look at a pre-owned vehicle. Ian had called that morning, told him we were on the way. After about 30 minutes of being at the dealership, we were told the vehicle had been sold about 20 minutes prior.
The sales person we were dealing with suggested a new vehicle, for close to the same monthly payment. Indicated her manger was making some "CRAZY DEALS!", And if he wouldn't do it, she'd go to the GM. After more questions, and some of the sales lady leaving and coming back. She just said that they didn't have what I would be in the market for coming in. I retrieved the keys for my available trade and left.
Not one time, did anyone offer a price or any other numbers on a potential purchase.
It's a car dealership...... Can't give a price? You've got nothing you want to sell.
Don't believe I will be darkening their doors anytime soon.
One of the worst dealerships to ever purchase a vehicle online. They ran our credit. The salesperson name is Kadjaliou Barry
Mike Calvert Toyota. He told us we were approved for the truck at 23991. But the on Cargurus price was 17992 even showed him a screen shot. Not o lu did he not finish the deal with us but wouldn't let us put car on hold as it say in the picture. He said manager was going to call us at 9pm and never did. Call him back an it all of a sudden went to his voice-mail but he text saying he will call us in a few. This is his text "My apology, we have a promotion through Cargurus currently and we will honor that sales price plus the adds" "This our website price will honor cargurus" "My manager is calling you to go over everything before taking deposit. We're open to 9pm. He says he will call you soon" this is my birthday month an I want a truck. Is it because I'm black that I am treated this way ? We have done nothing wrong and yet we have no truck.

Do not I repeat do not waste your time or money with this dealership. Spoke with Damien Duran a salesman and was informed they don't take money to hold used vehicles. Found out that was a lie was even informed that if I didn't like the truck I would get my money back. Set appointment and was excited to purchase vehicle only to find out 30 min before appointment truck no longer available. I was literally walking into the office asked if he was serious they said yes and tried immediately to have me look at other vehicles in there inventory. Long story short they are a bunch of snakes at this dealership. Classic bait and switch. Now hours later the same truck is available and 1000$ cheaper. Amazing how that's even possible. Only reason they get 1 star is because I can't leave no stars.

Great dealership and great staff. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to make a purchase for myself but I was able to get help for a family member to make a purchase. They lied to my son and said the car was there and available. When he drove many miles to get
there they tried to sell him a higher priced new car. I called and asked about the same car the
following day and they said it was available. I told them i would have to drive two hours to get
there and wanted to make sure it was there and available. They lied and told me it was. I told
them that my son called them and was lied to and that when he went there it was not available.
They still insisted the car was for sale. It was a BAIT and SWITCH tactic being used by car
dealers all over to get you to drive to their car lot and look at higher priced cars after lying about
the car being there.

Jeff and indeed everyone was polite friendly and helpful. 2nd quickest car buying experience of my life. They are around the corner from my office which makes service access very convenient!

Told me they would check price and see if my deal would work and then never responded, when I inquired again Monday they said the truck had been sold. Not sure if they just didn’t want to bother with trying to make my deal work or were just lazy or what, but it would’ve been nice to at least hear back before the truck allegedly sold. Also there is no way to “reserve” a vehicle besides already agreeing to buy it and finance before seeing or driving it.

Their ad said they had 7 if the trucks that iooking at. I got an email saying the truck was available. Yet when i called 10 minutes after i recieved the email that they indeed had the trucks but they were for lease deals. Again bait and switch. This type of behavior is why people hate car dealers.
Dealer made me wait an extremely long time, so we made an appointment for me for another day to sign my financial papers. All the paperwork was done, just needed signatures. They called 5 times within 24 hours confirm the appointment, then informed me an hour before my appointment that they sold the car.

The salesman who worked with me was great from this dealership. Unfortunately, I am really upset with
his higher-ups at this Mike Calvert Toyota Dealership. The lack of professionalism from Mike Calvert
administrators/decision makers after I notified them of a dangerous situation went unaddressed, is bad
business. I began my trip back to WA ST. On the second day of my trip, I discovered the hidden/non-
transparent issues on this 4Runner from this dealership. It's one thing to have to fix a rear tailgate, but a
completely different and dangerous case when you discover that your rear tire has a deep gouge
(rubber chunk missing) on the sidewall. Either the dealership or previous owner caused this severe and
dangerous damage to this tire by scraping up against a curb. Both the rim/tire are damaged. "Tires
101" is clear that any sort of significant damage to a tire on the sidewall must be replaced! The let me
drive with this - and did nothing about it after I asked them to replace the tire!
Horrible experience with the actual dealership. Vehicle I liked had a dent in the hood they would not repair. Whole back seat was missing from the vehicle. They added nearly $1,800 worth of hidden charges for vehicle prep & GPS upgrade.
However, the salesman, Cody was excellent! He needs to go somewhere that appreciates his hard work & dedication!
As they listed Toyota Camry 2020 LE with 31k miles for price 20k and it’s certified. This is good deal in market as per I know.
It’s a hail Damage and they don’t want to finance vehicle and asking to pay cash 20k. Plus title taxes and registration 2k.
Never be dumb like me visiting there and finalizing the price and fooled for paying cash.
Cheap marketing tricks to list price low and they never want to sell car and asking me to buy 2017 Camry SE with 60k miles for 20k drive out.
Bought a 2020 Toyota Camry with less than 7000 miles on it. Carfax and salesman
stated there were no accidents. It was late and raining so I didn't check the car. When
we got home, the tires were bad (they were all different, one had a nail hole) and we
found major car damage from what appears that it was T-boned. My experience was:
The salesman tried to charge me an additional 2 to 3 thousand more than the internet
price when we sat down to pay (I refused and was ready to walk for we were
purchasing the car advertised, why were they up-charging us for additional items on the
car that we didn't want or ask for). I was promised a replacement car at no additional
cost, what was offered were 2019's with more mileage. What ended up happening is
they refunded the car purchase price and tires. My wife was furious and hurt that
someone would try and take advantage of us. She couldn't understand why Mike
Calvert wouldn't step up and replace the car with something equivalent or better.

They tried to change the price to a higher price than they had on here and add a few extra finances in
there.Honestly the price on here was $24k, they changed it to $27K on the phone and yet their website
then said $26k. I had the screenshot of the $24k from the beginning and it held them accountable!!

Overall it was good service. I love the car I got but they did not want to work with me at first instance. Offered low money for my trade in but after 3 hours I drove out with the car. Steven in Finance was very helpful at the end. I wish he was helping me from the beginning.

biggest waste of time. Vehicle wasn't priced on line. I called said they would call back and didn't I called them, after being on hold for almost 30 min while they figured out the price of a used car, it was more than a new car!

talked To about 10 different people throughout 1 week different people kept calling me some would say the car is available some would say it wasn’t, one told me it just sold, the next person told me to head up there because they still had it, one told me they didn’t have it anymore but that they had another car just like it with more miles (exact same car) but a thousand dollars more. Not impressed with the run around

The dealership may only be contacted by phone , emails are not answered. The personal seemed courteous to a certain point , when dealing with the final process their tone changes. Also they don't try to help the customer for the purchase they really just want to make as much money as possible all they see is money walking into purchase vehicles. I'm not to sure if I just got the wrong personal for the date of purchase or if that's the actual personal that are there 24/7 , but it was the second worst experience purchasing a vehicle very close to the first worst experience. Seriously the final deal was really pennies on the dollar they still didn't make the deal. I'm not to sure if it's because they wanted to sell the vehicle for more but it's been weeks and vehicle still hasn't sold . Not to sure they care at all.

I have no problem with the dealership. They have a great deal all the time. I have not seen the dealership but, I have seen many Toyota Tacomas from this dealership. Great job guys and God bless.

Take your hard-earned money elsewhere. I was there
to look at a car, and they told me they had sold it, but
had another one similar, but a grand more. Typical
from dealerships. I took a look at the car and could
not make a decision. I found the same car on their
website when I got home for about 1600 less that
same night. I contacted the salesman and asked him
why. I provided the stock number. He said it might
have been another car. I went the next day, and he
admitted it was the same car. I asked him to give me
an estimate. He comes back with it, and he had
increased $500.00 to the price he had on the
computer in front of him. I asked why, and they said
that the car was getting certified as we spoke. He had
told us the day before that the car was certified used.
I did not buy it. The next day I checked the price
online of the same car and it was about $1000.00
more.

Knowingly sold me a car that had been in an accident after repeatedly telling me it had not been. When I went back they claimed this was an accident, but that regardless
even if I had been verbally told that the car had not been in an accident I should have known it was from the CarFax that every used car buy is presented with and signs. I
asked to see a copy of the CarFax that I supposedly signed and they gave me a copy without a signature claiming they had initially forgotten to present me with it. Too many
lies and deceptions for comfort.

The salesman was nice and helpful. People we interacted with were friendly and helpful (car had to be jump started to do test ride). The car was nice but would need a set of tires immediately. There was something wrong with 3 of 4 wheels and these would either need to be replaced or refurbished. They tried to work with us as best they could but it seemed that by the time I took care of the wheel/tire issue the price was about where others were. Decided to pass on this vehicle. I would consider visiting this dealer if another deal appeared. Hopefully the next one would not require some purchase expenditures.

I went to test drive the car twice. First time, I went with a male friend (I'm
female) and my salesperson had a difficult time making eye contact with
me. He spent most of it on my friend instead, despite the fact that I asked
90% of the questions. He also rushed us through the post-drive inspection
of the car's interior/exterior by repeatedly saying "Take your time!" and then
interjecting frivolous details about the car, like the colour's popularity, which
I could've cared less about. This was irritating, but I liked the car, so I told
the guy, "let's sit down and chat." While the salesperson grabbed us
waters, my friend had to step outside, leaving me by myself when the
salesman returned. He immediately tried to have me sign documents
without even taking my first offer on the car. The document would've had
me commit to buying the car that day, without any mention of price, much
less itemized price. Irritated, and by that point, offended, I said I had
changed my mind and would think about the car over the weekend. He
tried to pull the this-car-wont-be-here-very-long bs, to which I responded,
"I'm not worried. I know this car has been here for a long time." The car
had been listed on cargurus.com for 92 days by that point. The SECOND
time I went to test drive the car, I went alone and I got a new salesperson.
He was more hands-off and let me drive the car alone, which I liked. After
the test drive, though, he was not very informative to my questions and
when I said I wanted to negotiate the car price, he cut me off and said the
price was unlikely to go down much. I challenged him and asked to go
inside and look at the vehicle's carfax and dealership listing. He obliged,
but when I started questioning the carfax, he passed me off to the
inventory manager. The carfax issue? The car was a rental that Mike
Calvert had been marketing for 6 MONTHS (!) unsuccessfully; the car had
been bought and returned twice already due to financing falling through.
Not unlikely but very, very suspicious. Was the dealership ripping off
people through the finance process or had this car been plagued by
irresponsible purchasers? Anyways, the carfax timeline was fishy, and the
inventory manager didn't have a satisfying answer. He also informed me
that the listing price was the lowest the dealership was willing to go since,
"They were already losing money at that price." Yawn. So I left, with no
further contact from the dealership. The car is still for sale (122 days
online).
TLDR: Just because I'm female, doesn't me you shouldn't take me or my
negotiations seriously. If you're going to price a car (a rental with a
suspicious carfax timeline of fishy financing deals) at a no-haggle price, be
sure to say it is a no-haggle price. I am disappointed and a little wary of
this dealership.

I called wanting to purchase a vehicle, and was told it was being inspected
and that an airbag light was on, so it would take some time to diagnose and
correct. I was told I could not put a deposit on it until it was corrected and
cleared for sale, but was told the next day that the vehicle had been sold to
another dealer for $4k more than the list price. I was never even told what
the airbag fault was. This dealer is not concerned with conducting business
in an ethical manner. If you advertise an offer to sell a vehicle, and a
customer accepts, don't sell it out from under them. If you under-price a
vehicle, that is your loss. This is definitely not a customer-focused
organization.

I had a great experience at Mike Calvert Toyota! I did purchase this vehicle and love it! My salesman Steven Lee was excellent he even held on to an important item I left in the truck by accident for two weeks until I could get up there to get it. Definitely a customer for life! Thanks Steven!!

Rushed over because they couldn't hold the truck from auction until the morning. Truck definitely had transmission issues. Salesman said, "A new transmission is only around 1500.00". Wow!!
