I had a pre-approval from Capital One for this specific vehicle. When I contacted them they said that I could not buy that vehicle and tried to get me to add a co signed on the application and go for a car twice the price. They claim Capital One would not finance even though Capital One said they would
They were slow about getting back to me. I completed the purchase on May 7th and here
it is today (May 16th) and I still don't have my car delivered to me. They are really slow
about getting business taken care of and/or informing me of if and when the shipment of
my car is going to happen. I am not satisfied with their services and the customer service
they are providing.
Billy, the sales person was very nice since the first
communication, but at the end I was very disappointed, they're
asking almost $ 26,000 for the infiniti 2021, but I wanted to buy it
financed, but I was going to pay $ 30,000 in interest, they were
asking me for a $6,500 down payment and 72 monthly payments
of $ 700, I know I don't have credit history on buying a vehicle, but
it's how does anyone spects for a first time buyer yo have any
history, it's like asking or searching to hire someone 21 years old
that just graduated to have a 10 year experience !!! Illogical

The absolute best experience I've had at a used car dealership ever! Aleksandra, my salesperson, had an amazing knowledge base on how to navigate state to state car sales. They also washed and prepped the vehicle and took care of a minor issue before taking delivery. I highly recommend these guys!
Overall great experience with midway autohaus and my amazing salesman Greg! He was very quick to answer any questions asked and worked out everything with me to the best of his abilities. Living 6+ hours away from Chicago, I was supposed to take a bus the whole way, but it broke down and left us stranded. Greg understood that it was a interesting day and made sure to make our experience the best he could on his end. He came to pick us up from the train we ended up on right on time, and even had my car sent to get some gas before leaving, so we could just worry about getting on our way. He was very friendly and helpful, along with the rest of the staff. I would say this went amazing for my first dealership experience!

Sunroof was calked poorly to hide leaking sunroof.vehicle body was damaged and lagre rust spot in drivers carpet! Vehicle way overpriced. Don't waste your time.
Only one of the above I visited was Midway Autohaus. OK experience but was very surprised
how the car wasn't very clean, inside and outside before showing it to me. Roof looked like it
hadn't been washed in a long time, with a dark residue in the vallies of the roof ridges and
where the roof rack was attached to the car. I did a very through inspection, at least one hour,
and found about 25 things that could of been taken care of before showing the car. 5 of those
25 were deal breaker. They agreed to take care of them, but from the looks of the car prep for
showing, I just didn't feel it would be done well or right. Though they got very aggressive on
the price, I did not buy the car.
I feel like this dealership is all about the bait and switch. I had an appointment to view a vehicle on Tuesday morning. I showed up in the vehicle was no longer on car gurus. I then received a text message from the sales person asking if I was still coming to view the vehicle. About 10 minutes later, I received a phone call telling me the vehicle had sold on Saturday. They didn’t have the common courtesy to let me know on Monday that he had sold. I drove 90 miles to view this vehicle for nothing. I do not recommend this dealership and if I could I would give them negative stars!
A saleswoman called and stated the vehicle was just taken in and hadn’t been inspected. I made an appointment for this morning however on yesterday Sunday. I received an email that the car was sold. I’m confused as to how a vehicle that was supposedly just taken in and not inspected sold?

Hi! Per state law, dealerships do not operate on Sundays in the state of Illinois, therefore, it is not possible that you would have had an appointment scheduled with us on a Sunday. It's possible the vehicle of your interest was sold or wholesaled and you received an automated email notification update. I hope that helps with your confusion!
The initial contact was good I received a yes response to my home test drive inquiry Later told by a sales rep, the admin who replied yes, hadn't checked with the Sales dept..However, a home test was agreed to. On the day of, no show...As time went on, I had different exchanges between the sales rep and finance rep In one exchange, I followed up with the fiance rep on his requested info [implied a sense of urgency] The finance rep replied, being so busy helping customers, he didn't have chance to process/send info to a lender In another exchange, I followed up on the loan status The reply, I still waiting on ______ from you I replied, the info was already sent to the sales rep I resent the info to the finance rep and asked, do you need more info? No response At the time of this writing, I have not received a update response from the sales rep/finance rep

Was told the car was in great shape. It had a cracked headlight and would’ve needed a replacement as it was fogging. Sales rep was very nice. Finance guy, Tom? Was condescending and rude. They offered to bring car to us for test drive and then tried to insinuate they did us a favor. They added unnecessary fees in and were deceptive about that. Would’ve preferred just to work with salesman and even though we couldn’t come to an agreement that would’ve been fine. Tom made it weird and deceptive.

Very friendly group of people, but when it came down to the sale, the manager would not budge on the price. We argued over 600 dollars and a DEALER FEE (other than the license and doc fees) that should have never been charged and I refused to pay! I walked away and did not purchase the vehicle.

Vaida was great to work with over the phone and got me the deal I was asking for.
However Margaret was less than pleasant on the phone. She was very short and quick to get me off
the phone as if I was bothering her with my time. I own a six figure gym in Springfield, and would never
treat a potential client with that kind of attitude. I am now contemplating my decision to buy this car.
Really bummed, was planning to pick this car up tomorrow.

It was very good experience
Liers and cheaters, put deposit to a 2010 Toyota Prius, and then bought a ticket fly to Chicago, before I left they said the car crashed, asked them sent me the evidence, never did, they said they will pay me back for my tickets, fly tickets was very expensive because the college final 4. can I still believe them? I end up spelt on ORD airport bench whole night long then took greyhound back, very bad experience.

I received a standard canned response to my inquiry. I specifically asked for the CarFax or a BMW maintenance history report and stated to not even reply if it wasn’t included in their reply. It wasn’t despite the CarFax logo shown on the web page but it wasn’t a link. I’m not wasting my time going there if they’re hiding some history about the car —and I don’t accept other riff-raff history reports.

Test drove and siggy was great.. I made an appointment to come out after 5 to purchase was in traffic over an hour got there at 6:20 they already sold it and never tried to call me to let me know. After reading the car fax I found out it had structural damage so glad someone else has it now. I got a better car because of their rudeness.

We ended up purchasing a car from Midway Autohaus. Everyone we dealt
with was very helpful and accommodating. We have dealt with some pretty
high-pressure sales people and this was not the case at Midway
Autohaus. They were courteous and patient as I tried to make a decision
between 2 cars. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend this
dealer. As with any purchase, make sure you know about any additional
fees before sitting down to sign all the paperwork. A 'handling and prep
fee' was added to the purchase agreement and I didn't know this was a
'standard' fee until we were signing on the dotted line.

Placed an information request for a 2014 VW Jetta priced at $7,421. I was contacted by a salesman called Rex, and immediately told "we gotta get you in a different car". According to Rex, the Jetta had "way too many miles(71,000) and no one was going to finance me". He told me that I should instead aim for a 2015 Passat that was closer to 50,000 miles for $8,900. I replied that the Passat was more than I was willing to spend, but I would think about it if he would still run the numbers for the Jetta anyway. When he called back, he said that he had three banks that would finance me for the Passat, but I wouldn't be able to get financed for the Jetta. I again told him that the Passat was more than I was willing to spend, and thanks anyway. Well, wouldn't you know, Rex called me back 30 minutes later to tell me that there was a typo on my financing application and THAT'S why I couldn't get approved for the Jetta. He alleges that because my DOB said I was born in '99 instead of '90, that makes all of the difference in the world. Even though "three other banks approved me for the Passat" with that same information. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to my least favorite people, and I don't recommend it to you. Unless you enjoy lying and incredibly heavy handed sales tactics, I steer clear.

II was in communication with someone named Mark via text and Mary via email to let them know I was interested in a particular vehicle on a Thursday. I also told them that I was very interested in buying the car and asked if I could have the car inspected and Mark said it was OK and to let him know when the inspector was coming and I did just that. paid Lemon Squad $149 to have the car inspected on Friday. That same day Mark asked me if I can come in either Friday or Saturday to look at the car. I work on those days and told him AND Mary that because the Carfax report and the inspection went so well I will buy the car but because of my work schedule and they’re closed on Sunday, I asked them both if I could come in on Tuesday evening. My plan was to pay cash for the car and I couldn’t access that amount of money until Monday after 6 PM. Neither Mark nor Mary responded to the text. On Monday, I took a look at CarGurs to see that the car was no longer available, I called to inquire to be told that the car had been sold on Saturday morning by Michael. He said that he would have Mike to call me and asked if I was interested in an older model of the same make. Mike never called me back. Earlier that day, Mary finally responded to my email saying that the car had been sold. I responded by telling her that no one ever responded to my response to their messages and that it I simply lost money on the inspection. She then wrote back telling me that I should’ve put a deposit down in the car and that they would pay for the insoection of another vehicle. I replied that I WOULD HAVEpsid for an indirection if either her or Mark would have informed up to do so. Why exactly would I have them select and pay for one of their own inspectors on one of their cars proved to me that they were slimey shades money hungry mongrals. I STILL have not heard more from Mark. BEWARE!

Dealer was great. Got back to me quickly. Didn't get the jetta. Got a Nissan Altima instead.
I wasn’t impressed. While the person who responded to me was nice, the salesman on site was not. Both cars I asked about had a check engine light that came on, indicating a bigger problem. I think it would be helpful and appreciated if shoppers know ahead of time whether or not the car will need significant repairs

I went to Midway to originally purchase the Chrysler 200 Limited, I was able
to test drive the vehicle but unfortunately, the vehicle was on hold for another
customer. I was not advised of this before coming in. I ended up purchasing
a 2014 Hyundai Elantra from them and I was overjoyed. My excitement
eventually dwindled down when on the 3rd day of ownership, the front
fender had came a loose and shredded and the splash guard was barely
hanging on. There was no reckless driving or speeding over speed humps or
railroads on my end. So, that following Monday, approx. my 5th day of
ownership I took the car to the Hyundai dealership and had to shell out
nearly $500 for them to fix and replace the splash guard and fender at which
point I was also advised that my brake pads weren't any good. I contacted
the dealership numerous times and never received a call/email back.

Poor. I was told this car would out for me to see and when I arrived, it
was not ready. I drove two hours to see this vehicle and I had to
leave for another appointment. I never did see this vehicle.

The customer service was Awesome at Midway Autohaus! Everyone there was friendly, helpful, and very patient even though I chose another car then the one I originally request to see. Rex, Chris (Jerry), Chris Miller, and their whole team treated my husband and I like family. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends

Very friendly.
Dealer emailed fairly quick asking me to make an appointment to see the
vehicle however, I responded just as fast asking for a Carfax and never got
a response. Since that original email, asked for the Carfax 2 additional
times throughout the week and dealer failed to respond. Really shady if you
ask me, I would check other dealers before this one.

Our salesman Jerry was patient
not pushy. I would definitely buy
another car from this dealership. I
would also refer this dealership to
my friends.
The staff was very nice and
professional. Jerry was willing to lower
the price on the car I wanted. And I
never felt like he was giving me the run
around. They make you feel very
welcomed. The guy that took me for the
test drive kind of smelled like he had
been drinking though he was very nice
and honest. He had them wash the car
and put a little gas on it and he even
gave me new windshield wipers. It's all
small gestures of kindness but
considering I was buying a $1700 car,
they didn't HAVE to do that. If that
makes sense. Bottom line: I'd buy from
them again.

I had an excellent experience at Midway. They were helpful,
assisted me in getting an independent pre-purchase inspection (
mechanic shop I chose), and handled the out-of-state paperwork on
a cash sale in just a few minutes. The title arrived ASAP. MIDWAY
Handles many luxury brands. They are not experts on any one
vehicle. Just do your homework! Personable professionals in my
experience.

They apparently have multiple lots, so the person I spoke with did not work at the lot where the vehicle I was inquiring about, nor did he express any interest in answering any questions over the phone, merely directing me to their website. In fairness, we were looking for cars at the very low end of their price range so, as a salesperson myself, I can at least understand their disinterest.

The car looked terrible; all scratched up on both sides and front.
The interior had a tear in upholstery and overall condition was very
dirty and to top that off the salesman was immovable in the price
which was not competitive with other dealers we checked for the
same model car. I can't rate this experience low enough because
we have other dealers we visited which were much better in quality
of cars and willingness to deal.
