I have bought and sold too many vehicles to count, but I have never had an experience like I had with George at Low Country Motors. I requested information about a ford expedition on car gurus, and less than a minute later, I received a call from the owner of the dealership, George. We talked about the vehicle and he described in detail anything he knew to be wrong with it including pics and video. We worked out a fair price for both of us and put a deal together. I live in Florida and they are in South Carolina which made getting up there a planned event. Once I got my finances in order, I confirmed with George and he immediately pulled the ad for that vehicle down. We made the 4 hour drive up, and he had all the paperwork ready to sign. We met Lucy, his sweet dog, and the entire transaction took under an hour. I will be staying in touch with him to purchase more vehicles because of the level of care and lack of nonsense he provided. Highly recommend this dealer!

Great dealership to do business with! I sent a request for information on a vehicle and almost immediately received that info which led to a call all being after business hours. You can’t get that from the other places. Since I live in another state, everything was handled over the phone and upon delivery the vehicle was just as described. Highly recommend Gary and his dealership!

First time buying a car from a dealership. Quick and easy process. Would recommend.
Talked with sales rep. agreed on price, they sent me a buyer order. I explained that I would pick up a check and go pick up the Jeep the
next day due to it was already 3 O'CLOCK and I was 3 hrs away. Never did the sales rep. let me know they had someone else looking at
the Jeep. Call the sales rep next morning to let him know I would be on the way then he tells me to wait after 10 due to they had
someone else looking at. Not professional at all. I sure they sold for more money!! Would not recommend this dealer to anyone.

After you initial call and offer we had declined to accept that, I did go to bat for you and a better price and we were able to sharpen the number a little bit. However that wasn't to your liking and you expressed all the other vehicles you had been looking at and working going to try before our vehicle. The team was flexible and easy to work with. Emails and phone calls were answered quickly and accurately and the car was ready when i arrived. I bought during COVID-19 and they were very conscious of keeping things clean and social distancing.

I could not be happier with my experience at Low Country Motors. Shane Cody was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and eager to find the car that I wanted after missing out on the first car that I saw on CarGurus. Within days, he found a similar car for me. The car was as described and clean and ready for me to test drive. I received the same type of treatment from Kyle when he prepared the paper work. I would not hesitate to recommend and return to this dealership.

Super rude!! Inquired about an estimated monthly payment. Was talked down to because I’m 31, haven’t had any car loans (always paid cash for older models to stay out of debt), have a mortgage with Greta history, have several jobs, have excellent credit history x 2. So if you aren’t in debt- you can’t get car loan .... Ok?? Don’t think that’s how it works. Sorry I inquired.

The manager and I had a personality conflict but we finally did communicate. Unfortunately, he would not come down much on the sales price so a deal could not be struck.

I left a message requesting a call regarding this truck. I was contacted by the sales associate. I wanted to to find out what type of wiggle room in pricing I was looking at before making a trip out of town to visit the dealership and test drive the truck. The sales associate was very rude and when I threw out a ball park number to start the conversation he hung up on me. I understand they get calls all day but why wouldn’t he, in a professional way, tell me that number is probably too low and try and find something in their inventory closer to my budget? Sales 101...Will never click on any vehicle from that dealership again. The owner did call me to address the issue so I appreciate that but still does not excuse the sales associate from hanging up on a potential sell. And on another note, I have a blank check with personal money, no financing and I am very easy to work with. They must sell a lot of vehicles treat me the way they did so I guess I’m just some sell they lost
