The dealer was informative, responsive and answered all the questions posed to them.
I was very surprised and happy that it was a small dealership. Mike responded to my inquiry the next day. I went in for a test drive and FELL IN LOVE w/the Discovery Sport. Mike answered all the questions I had at the time and gave me information to questions I didn't think to ask. Eventhough I told him I needed a little time before I could purchase the Discovery Sport, he didn't try to pressure me into making any on the spot decisions. I will definitely be making this purchase!!!

I thought the overall price was to high for a 12 year old vehicle so have delayed visiting Lava Motors waiting and hoping to see a price drop considering the shape of the economy. This will not be a financed deal, but a cash transaction. Eddie has reached out to me to come for a test drive, but I have delayed!

very friendly salesman, he took my info, did some research and called me back with the info i requested and didnt pressure at all.
I originally went to the dealership to look at this minivan, but fell in love with a chevy traverse instead, the salesman Jason was so patient and extremely helpful with the process of test driving. I told him I wanted to wait and think about it, the suv had great miles and was super clean and well taken care of. My husband and I contacted Jason and told him we were ready and asked if the car was still available? It was, we were so excited! Jason walked us through the process, got us a good deal and answered every question we asked. Thank you Lava Motors and Thank you Jason for assisting our family in getting into a perfect size car for us.

Zach at Lava Motors is not what you think of when you think used car sales. He is an honest and hard working business man who cares about the people who come in to do the business of buying a used car.
He sells quality cars at fair prices, backs them up with a warranty program, and handles much of the hassle of buying and registering a car.
Lava Motors is in Connecticut, we live in New York. Zach took care of all of the paperwork to get a transfer registration in Connecticut that gives us 30 days to get our registration done in New York. We were able to drive home with the car the same night that we went down for the test drive.

Smaller dealership but it was a great place. Staff was friendly . Owner zach works on site and helps with everything. Jason verified they had the vehicle I wanted to look at before I even drove out. He was very nice and helpful. Test drove the vehicle I wanted they got me approved by the bank the same day. They looked over the vehicle for me and had it cleaned before I picked it up. Very fast and easy car buying experience. I highly recomend them.

I didn't get to do business with this dealership but customer service was excellent, the owner went above and beyond to make me comfortable, but the truck just wasn't for me. I definitely would try these guys again.

Zack was very friendly! We called a head of time to schedule a test drive. When we got there someone else was interested in the vehicle as well. Zack politely told them we drove 2 hours to see the vehicle and he could check it after we were done. Not many dealers would have done this! When we purchased the vehicle he was very honest and very thorough with getting any work it needed done. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to find a trustworthy used car dealership. They are very rare these days!

I contacted Zack about a 2010 Range Rover and I was driving all the way from Albany Ny too see it!! Soon as I arrived I was greeted with a Big Smile and a Super Firm handshake and he made me and my family feel real comfortable !! I test drove loved and purchased it at an awesome deal, when I was driving off a light went off , Zack said bring it back and they fixed the issues !! He gave me his word that he would fix it and I haven’t has a issue again !! Zack checked on me and made sure it was no issues as I drive back to Albany!!! Zack and his Crew are the best !! let me start by saying this was the most pleasant experience! Zack the owner a true gentleman and straight up honest! i bought a 2009 chevy tahoe he took a video TWICE for me went over any flaw and corrected it ! the guys in the shop who prepared my truck detailed it out to the MAX ! And Emilia was our liaison who set up all the paper work title regi plates was kind , courteous knowledgeable! And the location was in the most beautiful place next to a lake and ALL the vehicles on the lot where QUALITY! we came early and strolled the water way and left feeling like i left family and drove a new truck home

Very quick response from dealer. It’s a small dealership so I was in, test drove, and purchased a car in less time than it took to view cars at other dealerships. Not a lot of room for negotiations, but prices were very reasonable. Cars were all very well detailed and cleaned. Great experience.

I was contacted quickly about the vehicle I was interested and scheduled a test drive for a few days later. Once there the staff was extremely helpful, and answered any questions I had. I was asked that I take note any issues, concerns I had about the vehicle and they would be addressed. The vehicle was in good condition and the interior clean, after my test drive I put a deposit on the vehicle and made note of the issues i found, all minor issues that they said will be addressed before I pickup the vehicle. They really do go out of their way to make the experience as pleasant.

What a great experience .hands down !!lLAVA MOTORS went above beyond for helping us getting the car we wanted the car was as described in great shape we emailed zack the owner got back to us right away we went to the dealership next day the place really nice and clean .the staff they are amazing zack wasnt there we asked for him they told us he is overseas, we looked at the car and we drove it the car was in great shape we wanted to offer price they told us they have to get hold of zack ,, his employee called him and he had no problem cut his vacation and talk to us and he agreed to do the deal ,thank you zack and lava motors we love our new subaru and we will be back again you guys made customer for life ,if we can do 100 star we will. i will recommend lava to everyone i know thank you again

Originally contacted seller about the vehicle and they were inviting. When I completed my end of preapproval, contacting a dealership for independent inspection appointment, I contacted seller to come look at the vehicle and asked if they were okay if I took the vehicle to get an independent inspection they said come look at the vehicle, but the manager would get back to me regarding inspection. Several hours later, I contacted again for reply so I can come test drive and have vehicle inspected they replied again that they had to get back to me. Two hours later someone else did get back to me to say, "the vehicle was sold last night, sorry. You come to your own conclusion.

Very nice in emails, and when we stopped by brought the keys right over and pulled the truck out in the open so we could have a better look. The truck was NOT in the condition I would have expected from the price - rust bubbles painted over, some rust on the frame my son was concerned about, not well taken care of (broken interior door handle, broken plastic behind power driver's seat controls, filthy (molded?) interior door panels), makes me wonder about mechanicals. These things not disclosed in online description or in emails - would have expected this truck to be half the price and even then I'd have to think long and hard about buying it (have my mechanic go over it).

I had such a good experience buying this car! Zack tended to all my worries and made corrections on the vehicle before I made the purchased. When I arrived I was greeted with an expresso while my car was being freshly detailed. He also made sure my tank was full and provided me with an extra $300 spare key for free. I am pleased with the professionalism of Zack and his staff who did an excellent job from beginning to end.

All the rave reviews are justified. This is like no other used car dealer. The cars and prices are
excellent and the staff, headed by Zack are wonderful to work with. Everything involving the
process of acquiring the Subaru Outback I bought was fast, accurate and exceedingly pleasant.
Nice, nice people. There was a minor problem with a sway bar joint after a couple of weeks and
when I called, Zack told me to bring it in whenever it was convenient for me. I did so next
morning, and without delay it was up on the rack and perfeccly repaired. Even though I'm an hour
and 40 minutes away I will recommend Lava to any I care about and never buy from anyone else.

I was looking for a car for my son who is a beginner driver. I saw a 2009 Subaru Forester on CarGurus and i contacted Zack at Lava Motors to set up an appointment. I usually hate dealing with car dealers, but when i got there i immediately knew that dealing with Zack was going to be great. We worked out a deal and Zack went above and beyond to make the experience as easy and painless as possible. Mr. Zack is a very Honest Man, I purchased a truck from him sight unseen,

Want to give 6 stars! Both Zack and Dominique were an absolute pleasure
to deal with. Zack changed my whole mindset on used car dealers. He is
the exception to the rule, an honest person looking to help you find a good
car. He gave us a great price on a car we were looking far. He even found
an issue with original car I was to purchase. He found structural issues and
refused to sell me a car that would put myself and my family in danger. He
found us a replacement in quick fashion with a great price.

What a great buying experience. Dominique was awesome! She called when she said she was going to. Zack the owner is a really awesome guy. Very down to earth. He had the car ready when he said he would. I couldn’t be happier with the service and the vehicle. I drove well over a hour to get here. I test drove the car on a Thursday. Lava Motors is wonderful! Right from the start, the communication has been terrific and straightforward. Zack is the owner and salesman who is easy to work with and he doesn't give pressure at all. All of the vehicles on his lot seem to be priced to sell quickly and they do go fast, so I would recommend setting up an appointment for a test drive like we did right away if you see something of interest. We initially went there without setting one up and we were surprised to see cars that we wanted to check out were already sold hours before. We since have been in communication with Lava Motors about what vehicle we were looking to buy for our 16-year-old daughter, and Zack has been extremely helpful and honest. He made sure we were (and still are) satisfied. We will definitely be going back to buy other cars from Zack, even though the dealership is an hour away.

Zack puts a new name to used car dealers. He was honest through the entire process and kept to his promises, unlike the typical sleazy used car dealer. The Jeep I found needed to have one item fixed and he promised me he would take care of it. I dropped the car off and he kept to his word and kept his mechanics in the shop until the job was done. He does not bombard you with sales calls or give idiotic sales pitches. His team is very knowledgeable from the mechanics to the gal that does the paperwork. Everything was right in order and he did not keep me waiting a single bit. I highly recommend giving Lava Motors a look at when buying a used car. You cannot beat his prices. I found a great car and couldn't be happier.

My wife and I just moved to Massachusetts and were looking for two cars. I
spent two frustrating weeks on Craigslist and at local dealers with no luck. I
noticed Lava Motors because they advertised good cars at reasonable
prices. I finally told my wife that it may be worth the hour and a half drive
to Canton Connecticut to check out their selection. I am very glad we did. I
purchased a car for myself at a great price and Zack was extremely
helpful. He gave me all the paperwork needed to register the car in
Massachusetts, which I did the next day with no problems. I went back with
the MA tags to pick up the car and they had detailed it. It looked better
than when I first saw it. The car drives great and passed the MA inspection
with no issues.
A week later I checked their website again and saw a car that was exactly
what my wife was looking for. It was a little higher priced than we wanted to
spend but was too good a deal to pass up. Long story short, we ended up
buying it and everything went as smooth as with the first car I purchased
from Lava Motors.
Zack is a nice person to deal with and he's doing it right. He has good
cars, with low miles, priced reasonably. Based on my experience I would
highly recommend Lava Motors for good deals on used cars.

I can't say enough about LAVA Motors, Zack and his team. We saw a Jeep Wrangler listed for sale on cargurus.com located at LAVA Motors in Canton, CT. I contacted the dealership and spoke with Zack, owner and operator of LAVA Motors, who was about to close for the day but stayed open just for us to come down. Zack was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and stay after hours to allow us to take a test drive. We put down a deposit that night and within 2 days he had the Jeep inspected thoroughly, registered, and detailed for pick up. My husband and I could not be happier with this Jeep Wrangler and the service we have received. We have researched Jeep Wranglers for a great length leading up to our purchase and found this Jeep at the best price seen anywhere! Zack's service, professionalism, honesty, and commitment to making sure his customers are happy is second to none. We will be using LAVA Motors for any future car purchases and have referred family and friends to LAVA Motors as well.

I contacted them on a Saturday about the car and I test drove it Saturday
afternoon. I spoke with Zak and he told me about history the car, provided
a CarFax report for the car, and we discussed the price. There were a few
minor issues (cosmetic) with the car and Zak offered to fix them
immediately for the agreed upon price. Due to Labor Day on Monday, I
was originally told that the car would not be ready until Thursday.
However, I received a call on Tuesday that all of the work had been
completed and they just had to register it on Wednesday. I picked the car
up on Wednesday afternoon and everything was done as Zak had
promised. I would definitely recommend them and I would buy from them
again.

We recently purchased a 2006 VW Rabbit with the assistance of Salesman Mo and Owner Zach from Lava Motors. We had looked at a couple VW's (a first car for our twin boys) before visiting this dealer and were impressed with our visit to Lava Motors. We drove the vehicle, had an opportunity to speak with the staff mechanic, Dean, who was knowledgeable and honest in his evaluation of the vehicle. We felt comfortable buying the vehicle after all the attention to detail the dealership showed us. We have driven the car since purchase and we are extremely happy with our decision to buy. We were so comfortable, we already made a referral to a family member who also purchased a car from Lava Motors. If you are looking for a solid used car, I recommend you visit Zach. If he doesn't have what you are looking for on his lot, tell him and I am sure he will do his best to find you that perfect car.

I had a very pleasant, easy experience. There was no pressure AT ALL which was very important to me. The price on the car was great and they were completely open about everything. The administrative staff was very helpful. I will use Lava Motors in the future and highly recommend them.
