I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. We agreed on a deal over the phone and they told me to come pick up the car, but when I arrived a couple of hours later, they had sold it to someone else. No courtesy call, just a complete waste of my time and totally untrustworthy.

Wasted my time - Poor Communication and Zero Accountability. I contacted this Acura dealership through CarGurus to ask if a TLX I was interested in was still available. They responded quickly and scheduled me for a Saturday 1:30pm appointment. I confirmed the appointment via text with three different reps- Charles Reese, Jessica, and Will Paz. Will even texted me the morning of the appointment saying multiple people were interested and asked if I’d be open to seeing other options. I said yes.
I drove nearly an hour from Humble to Katy, TX, only to be told the car sold the day before. No one informed me. Jessica, who greeted me, didn’t make eye contact, stayed glued to her iPad, and claimed someone texted me-which was false. No one texted me saying the TLX I was interested in was sold. She offered to show me another car without asking what I was looking for. The car she brought out was nothing like the TLX I came for. Purchased a car from Space City Toyota the same day!

I submitted my information online Saturday afternoon 1/13 and didn't hear anything. I sent an email Monday
morning and again no reply. Then Wednesday 1/17 I get a call telling me the vehicle has sold. Jessica in the
online manager never contacted me and for that reason i would never do business with this delearship.

Advertise a $150 doc fee and once you call and are figuring out the door price hit you with a $2495 dealer add fee for tinted windows, wheel locks and who knows what else! Then say oh all Acura Dealerships here in TX do that very deceptive advertising practices. Total bait and switch.

Masha was great. Wasn't expecting to purchase that day. Very enjoyable experience.
When they replied to my request to see this vehicle, we made a private appointment for this vehicle. This means that this vehicle is available and ready to test drive. This appointment was for. a specific car, The appointment was at 1pm, A sales person came and I showed him the picture and stock number of the 2017 MDX I was looking at from my phone. He wrote the information and walked away. It was a very good deal, it was advertised to be at a great price! When the salesman came back, informed me the card is SOLD! But I made a specific appointment to see this vehicle! You had my information, they could have call me and let me know the car was sold. But no, and then the moved on offer me to show another vehicle. A 2016 MDX with 83K miles, I test drove the car and it was very nice. When we sat down to look at the numbers, they added $2500 as a luxury package claiming they installed the tint, etc. it’s called bait and switch.
The used car sales manager tried to suggest that the odometer on my car had been rolled back. Then adding insult to injury he accused me of
having the catalytic converters removed (which they haven't been) without any proof from a mechanic. He seemed to be willing to use any
means necessary to downgrade my trade in. I will never set foot in that dealership again.

They are not wiling to work with you. Please be very careful. They install an $1800 glorified lo-jack on every car they purchase and sell but are not upfront about that- I'm assuming so they can haggle more and not lose as much money. They are not there to take of the customer, but to squeeze you into a corner. It's sad.

It was the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. First, I had to go back to pick up the vehicle because they didn’t get it financed before the banks closed. When I did take it home,they didn’t even ask for proof of insurance. Then they called me a week later saying that the loan had been declined and they wanted a larger down payment to make it easier to finance. When I went back it was almost like starting the buying process all over again. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Price on car was fair. We just did not like so much negotiation. Also, John Eagle Acura sticks a $1,000 package price
on top of your sticker price for stuff you really do not need!! We had to haggle to lower unnecessary fees. Where other
dealerships do not charge or charge you that much. The car was a great car, but it was not very clean. Sales person
told us "they are really busy to bring it back. Who has the time. Had to take car ourselves to get it detail. We were
paying cash!! We mentioned to sales person "please do not run our credit" and they still ran our credit.

All of the staff at John Eagle Acura are very polite and knowledgeable of their vehicles. If you are looking for a good reliable vehicle at a price that you can afford, John Eagle Acura is the place to go.
Not good at all. Can ntacted them first thing on the morning, recover a response thereafter asking when I could come see the car. I responded shortly thereafter that I would be there around 3. Left my office in Sugar Land at 2:15, my 17 years old left school at 2:30 and headed to John Eagle Acura. I got there at 2:50, went inside to meet the lady. She never came out, but rather they a different salesman’s came out. My kid got there at 3 only for us both to be told the cat had just sold was there anything else we wanted to see. Checked my email on my phone, and found an email for the lady salesperson that she sent at 2:45 asking if I will still coming and that She has called me which was not true, she did not call me. Waste of my time and my gas. Rude. Never again. She had all day to let me know something and she didn’t. The salesman he was very nice and seemed a bit embarrassed. The lady could not even come out of her hole to tell me th car was no longer there. We were ready to buy.

This dealership called and give me wrong information on mileage of rdx Acura. When I went there they showed me different mileage rdx. I also checked with her too many times about this rdx,even an hour earlier.

So I call and ask if it's still available they say yes and when I arrive for my appointment the vehicle "is no longer available". So the salesman proceeds to try to sell me a vehicle out of my price range and it turns into a waste of 3 hours. Not sure if this is common practice with them but i wouldn't go here.

I made an appointment with a salesperson to look at a 2016 model car I saw online. The salesperson advised the car was available and set the appointment. I drove 3 hours to look at the car and when I arrived they said the car sold 2 days prior but the system takes 48 hours to update. Prior to learning the car had already been sold, they refused to honor the price the salesperson and I agreed on over the phone because that same salesperson I talked to wasn't there. Of course their answer was to try to sell me a brand new car at a mediocre price. Never again.

Terrible customer service. Drove all the way from Austin to buy a TLX, that they assured us that morning had not sold. Once we arrived it had in fact sold, and their systems don't update for 24-48 hours. What a crock! Once they realized we weren't going to buy a brand new Acura, they proceeded to tell me that they reviewed our calls and that the manager had never promised my husband the price we discussed. Not only am I done with John Eagle, I am done with Acura's!

They were initially very responsive and provided information however, that's where the good ended. Over lunch my fiancé scheduled an appointment to see the car. When she arrived, nobody was aware of the car she was coming to look at. Once that was sorted out they realized the car was being driven. Without the desire or ability to wait indefinitely, she left without seeing the car. Not necessarily the end of the world but defeats the purpose of making an appointment. We will find a car elsewhere.

We did purchase our vehicle from John Eagle Acura only because they were the only dealer within 250 miles that had the color and options we wanted. We drive to Houston from San Antonio on a Wednesday and made the deal to buy the car. The negotiations they said they did on all cars was almost non-existent. We left being told the vehicle would be ready on Friday. Well 2 hours into the drive back to Houston on Friday they called and said the vehicle would not be ready until Monday. We continued to John Eagle to sign the papers and when we saw the car none of the items that they said wound be fixed by Friday were done. So it is Tuesday now and they are going to deliver the car to us this morning. It was not a good experience.

This dealership is not very customer friendly, I was interested in a car they had and was even going to send them the full amount for the car without seeing it. I needed two weeks to pick the car up because I live in Kansas and had to arrange a flight and being gone for a couple of days. After they realized that I need two weeks to pick the car up they told me the car was sold. I kept seeing the car in Cargurus a couple days later and thought that was weird so I called and they still had the car after being promised by the sales staff if the deal didn't go through they would call. When your to arrogant to work with a customer that is paying the full asking price of the car it might be time to get a new Sales manager. I'm pretty sure if the owner knew of this he wouldn't be to thrilled. The car has already been at the dealership for a month and a half but you can't take a payment in full and let a customer pick it up in two weeks??????

I worked with Shannon and purchased the car. The financial paperwork took longer than I thought necessary, especially since I wrote a check and left for several hours to eat dinner while they detailed the car and were supposed to have the paperwork ready. Then they had me sign paperwork that stated the mileage, which was not the actual mileage on the car...... Its 2016 people, computers should make all of this easy!!!

The damages to the car were not truly disclosed...for example, the windshield was cracked, the sound system was not functioning and the spare ignition key missing...the customer should be informed about these but John Eagle Acura hid these facts

Pete was awesome! And my overall experience was great. Everyone at the dealership were polite and friendly. I would highly recommend this dealership if you're serious about purchasing a vehicle.

I sent an email with a proposal
for a vehicle, Acura MDX, I had test driven. Quick
response from customer service telling me
to come in and test drive the same vehicle yet again but no
response to my proposal. I responded I
already test drove and this was my
proposal again but they never responded
to accept or decline. Initially I thought
customer service was great when they
responded so quickly but it sucks. They just want to get you in
the door and don't have the courtesy to accept or decline.
Don't waste your time.

Do not bother with this dealership. They couldn't even keep track of
what customers were looking at what vehicle. I was interested in the
Jeep Grand Cherokee and I constantly got emailed regarding a Toyota
Tundra.
