I had a great experience buying my car at Hertz. Matt and Dari were so helpful and I couldn’t be happier with their service and the prices. Definitely would recommend buying a car from here to anyone I know!
Mike at Hertz was phenomenal for me! First he got the car through inspection and detailing in less then 4 days! He was in constant communication with me from the start, kept me up to date with what was happening. My wife came down with the flu and they were able to get me in and out of the dealership in under 30min it was a great experience and Mike is the guy to go to there for sure!

I contacted Hertz late on a Friday by email. To my surprise Oliver contacted me back within about 10 minutes. I showed up Saturday morning, when I said I would be there around 3 pm. Oliver and Greg are the 2 people that worked to get me into the car I wanted without the pressure of trying to get me into something else. I was there about 3 hours and drove home the car I wanted. Great group of people work there.

Very negative & seemingly short with responses salesperson. I called & went there twice; salespersons saw me in the lot walking around looking at cars...I will never rent, buy or recommend. I received a call back the following week. No star!!!! Review forces a star

They sent an email stating the car was in great shape and wanting to set up appointment but in fact the car had already been sold. We drive to the dealership for nothing. Then, they continued to contact us about the sold car. I had to tell them multiple times that their car was sold. Annoying. Triple check before you go.

Tried to pressure me to buy one specific car out of an inventory of six. I wanted to see the others but wouldn't show me. They said they weren't ready. They never contacted me after my initial visit to to the other Toyotas.

The two gentlemen I spoke with were very polite and knowledgeable. This dealer took their time and followed through with all of my request on vehicle stays and pricing. This was very helpful, because I'm approximately 7 hours away from Clearwater. Unfortunately, we weren't able to make a deal, a difference of about $372.00, pretty disappointing. But, I suppose it is all about the numbers...

Very helpful and great price.
It was the best experience I've ever had purchasing a car. Carl went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He was patient, genuine and I never felt pressured. I never felt rushed into a decision and he returned my calls even on his day off. Kirk did an outstanding job detailing my car as well! And the friendly gentleman in the financing department (again no pressure felt) was able to get me an interest rate/car payment that I was happy with. I felt secure and confident in my buying decision and never felt swindled. I love my 2016 Nissan Altima! Its just like new!! The price, quality of car and level of service was more than I expected....Thanks again!

Called to ask if the car was available and Bobby never called me back. The next day my husband called and Bobby as going to check for the car and called back 30 min later. Bobby was aware we were coming to view the car, unpon arrival no one greated us at the dealership. We found the car in the lot and went inside to ask for a test drive. Bobby never got up from his desk to great us when we walked in and never invited us to sit down while waiting for him to get the paperwork together for a text drive. Once on our way back out to the car, bobby did not hold the door open for us, in fact is shut on my face and I am 7 months pregnant. After test driving I continued to asked for a price in my trade and an out the door number before he ran credit. He continued to interview me for the loan process with out giving me any numbers. Trade value was 4000 less than ever other dealer in the area. There wasn't even someone there to value trades and they had to call someone who "is stilling on his couch in his underwear watching football" to get my trade value. Worst expierence ever, would never recommend buying from them.

The sales staff are average at best. The sales person said he had access to other Impala's he could sell, since they only had one on the lot and would get back to me in a few days and never did. Needless to say I now own a great new 2014 Impala purchased from Cox Chevrolt. Also the cars they sell are rentals with very high miles and the warrenty is expired because of the high miles put on them.

Jerry, the finance manager quoted one price for the extended warrantee. We declined the offer due to the high cost. He then came back to us with a verbal offer to reduce the cost of the warrantee by $300. When reviewing the written finance agreement, the warrantee cost identified the original higher amount. More importantly, upon adding up the numbers....total price of the new car, Hertz fee, licensing and state taxes and the warrantee, the total price was over $300 more than what he promised. Upon questioning him, Jerry stated "we never talked about what the end price of he car would be, but only what the monthly payments are". ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? After a loud argument, he re-wrote the contract, providing us with $200 additional dollars on the trade in, but still over $120 more than what was promised. Additionally, the final paperwork shows he added, not subtracted the $1200 trade-in value to the new car. Upon questioning, Jerry stated the Hertz form is confusing. The finance numbers in the blocks proceeding is written showing the (what appears) to be the final (correct) finance costs, but the end line shows him adding the trade in value to the total price of the car. After nearly seven hours, I relinquished as the family member I was representing became ill and had to get her home. I will have this "confusing form" (as described by Jerry)" reviewed by an independent source.
The sales relationship was a far less confrontational, but still a challenge when over two hours were spent waiting on the salesman to locate the keys to the cars we were interested in. Fortunately a more experienced salesman came to the rescue and this part of the process became less annoying.

Car was a great deal, in terms of price and miles, and the sales staff was pleasant, but their business model itself is a mess. Their check clearinghouse rejected my perfect good check -- twice. Then I got a cashiers check for 75 percent of the price and wrote a personal check for the balance and THAT was rejected again for no reason. Hertz Car Rentals takes credit cards, but Hertz Car Sales (a.k.a. Hertz Car Exchange) does NOT! Ridiculous. Made it very, very difficult to pay for car. My bank bent over backwards, even offering to wire transfer the money, but Hertz found this unacceptable. Be prepared to be extremely frustrated by the experience of trying to buy a car from Hertz.
