I recently purchased a Mustang Mach-E online from Grapevine Ford after a nationwide search on CarGurus. Hayden was outstanding—very responsive, sent a recent video of the exact vehicle, and clearly explained the Ford certification process and the extra checks they performed beyond Carfax to ensure the car was well maintained. I originally planned to pick up the vehicle, but Hayden arranged delivery to my home, which made the whole process even easier. The dealership was very upfront about the recall on the automobile. We were able to drive one and the sales person was extremely knowledgeable about the car and all of the features. I’ve never had such an outstanding overview of a car. It made the experience of car shopping a lot more pleasant.

What a fantastic experience and I’m actually bummed that the vehicle we liked didn’t work out for us. Michael was responsive the entire process, attentive, helpful and straight forward - which we like!
Drew was one of the nicest people we’ve met in a long time, made us feel welcome, relaxed and right at home with no pressure whatsoever. He was wven generous enough, to allow my wife and I to take the vehicle overnight and have my mechanic check out the vehicle with no commitment whatsoever.
My wife loved the truck as did I, but we found two things that just made us back out from buying the vehicle, and both items Michael and Drew to be fair, didn’t know anything about. Once they learned the news however, they shopped the vehicle to auction.

Disappointing Experience – Shady Finance & Poor Follow-Up
Our experience with Grapevine Ford started off terribly. The finance department initially attempted to withhold three points on our financing, which I only discovered after calling Capital One directly. After escalating the issue to the owner, the finance director finally stepped in and made things right.
However, after purchasing the vehicle, we found a cracked windshield and a driver’s side door handle missing a part. Despite their promises to fix these issues, they have completely ghosted us ever since. Poor follow-through and lack of accountability make it hard to recommend this dealership.
Buy with caution and double-check everything before signing!

BUYER BEWARE - This dealership works multiple deals at the same time for the same vehicle. I spent 4 hours at the dealership today. My wife drove over from Dallas in the rain. We both liked
the vehicle and were negotiating a deal. At the last minute the manager sold the vehicle from under us. Complete waste of time for me, my wife and the rep Juan. The only reason Iâm giving them
a 1 star is because of Juan. He was a good rep. Otherwise, very unprofessional management. They deserve zero stars. Iâve bought many cars over the years and have never had that happen to
me. Every other dealership I worked with have people in a queue and wonât show the car to anyone else if they are working a deal. Not Grapevine Ford. BUYER BEWARE.

This vehicle was no longer available but they found me a newer vehicle with less mileage that I was able to purchase!
Unfortunately, I have to give this dealership a bad review. They have been very difficult to deal with. I contacted
them and went in to buy a car the same day. They gave me an IOU for some things that were unacceptable and
needed to be fixed in the car. They simply are not trustworthy. They said that they will call me to schedule a time for
the service and never called me. I reach out to them and they ignored me for a while. My husband had to contact
the service department and take in the car. They said that they will provide a loaner car, walked away and they
never provided one. They have been holding my car for almost a week now with no update. The sales agent that
sold me the car has become combative in response to us asking for update.
Watch out for the paperwork before to sign for purchase. The sales guy tried to tag on some extras without notice.
The only positive is that the finance guy was super personable and good. We paid cash and he did not try to upsell
us.

A salesman contacted me via phone and then via text several times. They were very professional. I was interested in this car, but it sold
before I could go look at it. I missed out.
The experience was not great.
The price has since dropped on the vehicle I wanted to purchase.
According to their banks, they were unable to use a $3K down payment to put me in a truck.
The experience started with a salesperson contacting me and on the day of the actual visit, he was sick.
He advised me to ask for another gentleman, who was supposed to know what was going on.
It was a bad experience and I don't know if I will visit this location again.
Great vehicle at an even better price. The only
reason it is not five star is because of the over
amount of pressure to use in house financing
when I already had financing lined up.

I planned to purchase this vehicle, the salesperson I dealt with was fine, helpful. However when it got to financing, it was a nightmare. The finance person kept trying to add things into the deal that I didn’t want saying he could give me a better rate. I was purchasing remotely and when I received the paperwork to sign with a notary there was a $7,000 discrepancy in what we had agreed upon. The finance manager then tried to convince me I just didn’t understand how financing worked. I would highly recommend avoiding this dealership.

Ended up purchasing here, Chris was my salesman. He was cool. You could def tell he was tired of me though. I’m in the business so we went back and forth a few times. Finance guy, I think his name is Larry? Or maybe Gary? He’s cool too!!! Sales managers are cowards. Wish I knew the guy that had called me. lol no integrity what so ever. Idk what was on the sunroof when we test drove but we told him it would have to be cleaned cause it was GROSS. Came back from detail and it was so late I didn’t even care, we left and they never cleaned it. 2 weeks after purchase sunroof stopped working. It’s great. Lol thank god for warranty.

even more so after the sale on using the new technology on my Escape Hybrid. Love the dealer & especially our salesguy, Devon Bear!
Had a wonderful experience working with my sales person Tuna . He was very helpful in the process to getting me to my number out the door since were corresponding from Houston and had yo drive to pick up our vehicle . It was ready when we got there and getting into finance was very fast since we had done all the paperwork online. I’ll recommend anyone to visit Grapevine to do future purchase and business.
Absolute WORST experience…RUN!!!
Forced LoJack and an “extra key”…over $1k of add’l dealer add ons I did not ask for or want. LoJack says fees are only pushed to buyer if it’s activated by the buyer.
We already had financing in place…They told us they wouldn’t allow outside financing.
Finance guy could get me a better interest rate if I bought an extended warranty??! What difference should that make?
Then tried charging $2k+ more in sales tax fees than they previously said. It was listed correctly on the ‘final proposition’ that was emailed to me 2 days prior to the 4.5 hour trip. They “weren’t sure why” the difference. AR vehicle sales tax is 6.5%… they wanted 9.75%. I called my local DMV office (on speaker)..the guy in finance heard the amount but said they’re required to go by the info they have. BULL!
My ride was a one-way so I had to book a last minute flight home because of this nightmare!!!

Called me to find out what I was looking for and I told them what I was looking for and they told me that they will email later on the cars they had found, but they never got back to me.
Honest review, not so honest dealership. I contacted this dealership on Sunday. The salesman contacted me first thing this morning (Monday). We agreed on a price and I informed him it was a 2 hour drive for me.He assured me the truck would be there. I told him I could give a down payment to hold the truck and he said it would not be necessary. I sent my information to begin the buying process and so I could sign paperwork, get the truck and be on my way. He told me he sent the truck to be detailed and would have it waiting for me out front upon my arrival. My boys were excited to ride home in dad's new truck. Thirty minutes before I arrived I get a call from a manager telling me that another salesman had sold the truck. I was livid. We had come to an agreement, they ran my credit not once, but twice! They offered to refuel my wife's car for the inconvenience, which I accepted, but that does not justify selling vehicle out from underneath me.Waste of a four hour round-trip drive.

I was all set to purchase the Grand Cherokee listed, as I already had financing in place and just needed to find a car. I am glad I didn’t waste time the day I originally planned to go. The salesman ended up telling me that I would NOT be able to use my OWN bank! James G. wanted me to let them run my credit through a few banks to find the cheapest rate, to TRY to meet or beat the rate I had on my own approval. I explained that this was not something I was willing to do b/c each run causes a hit to my credit score, which everyone knows. A lower credit score will cause me more money in the long run, so this was a no go for me. I have excellent credit scores and will not allow anyone to cause it to be lowered. He told me he understood and I lost out on the car.
I have NEVER come across any dealership that forbids any outside financing. To me, this states point blank that the customer’s best interest is of no concern to Grapevine Lincoln Ford. There are better car dealers out there!

Initial contact was very good. Initial salesperson responded quickly and sent a video as well. Upon arrival is when things went down hill. Simply explained ... cash deal, no haggling, give me your best out the door price, if we are good on the best price I will bring my fiancé who I was buying so she could drive (my corvette has a manual transmission) ... simply. The supposed best price had over $1,000 in add-ons to the advertised price. When I pointed that out the salesperson wanted to negotiate. I was both disappointed and done at that point.

Tried to go in and buy this car cash. Never have had such a hard time buying a car in my life. Had to go back a forth about some aftermarket security system they said I had to buy. After finally agreeing to drop the $500 add on, the dealership would not let me use a card to pay for my TTL because I was paying 17k cash. Keep in mind I was told by the sales associate and a different sales manager that I could use my card for up to 3k. The sales manger on duty decided to come out and talk to me. I was told I had to leave the dealership and grab the rest of the money from my bank cash, because it would be too hard to pay cash and a card. I have never heard of a “sale manager” wanting anyone to leave a deal because they usually don’t come back. I then decided I would use my own credit union to finance the remainder of the cost and asked for a bill of sale and my request got denied by the sales manager on duty. I got up left and bought another car same day cash and card from another dealer.

Unimpressed. Made an appointment and drove down to see the SUV. Unfortunately, they couldn’t find the keys, so I couldn’t check out the car. They had someone program a key fob later that evening, but I found a better truck elsewhere. Their vehicle was a good deal on paper, but the truck hadn’t been reconditioned at all. Wheels had severe curb rash, there were multiple chips in paint, a gash in the bumper, etc. Of course, some stuff is to be expected on a pre-owned vehicle, but truck could’ve been presented better.

cashier's check to pick up truck. Upon arrival, they
tried to change the deal. THREE HOURS sitting in

Came in with my pregnant wife and two young kids, stayed there most of the day, was not offered even a bottle of water. Had to buy my own drinking water from their cafeteria. Saw the car, took it for a test drive. Discussed numbers, arrived at an agreement. Took the wife and kids home, called the next day and the rep said the car was still available. We send in the credit application, while we are still submitting the required stuff, salesperson calls and says “we just sold the car, someone was here present, since your were not here they got the car” Then tries to sell me a 5 seater jaguar instead.

I made an appointment to see a specific car. I was able to test drive it, but then was told that it had already been sold to another buyer. Fortunately, there was another car that I did end up purchasing that was a better deal. Grapevine Ford has lots of cars for sale, but be prepared for a cutthroat atmosphere among sales staff.
I didn't end up purchasing from these guys because the vehicle wasn't right
for me, but I have to say the communication was great with Christian. The
manager as well was willing to accommodate my needs and overall, I had a
great experience with them. If they have the car you are looking for, I highly
recommend you working with these guys. They are great.

Terrible communication and incorrect (luring) advertised pricing. Online price for the vehicle was advertised as 28,900. when contacted I was told actual price was 48,500. I
would rather buy from a used car lot. We tried to purchase a car at this dealership for 2 months, then they tried to sell us a "demo" car that was currently in the bodyshop
getting "repaired". The purchase price for the damaged demo was higher than brand new ones advertised even at their dealership. Not to mention the Sales manager
couldn't even remember our last name after 2 months of dealing with him. Horrible customer service and overall representation of the brand. Their convenient location will
only get them by for so long. We have found much better customer service and deals driving a little further. Don't waste your time.

Their website showed a 2018 F-150 XLT with a MSRP of $37,000 and a sale price of $27,000. I thought I might make a deal on this 2018 instead of buying a 2019.It's been on the lot for 295 days.When attempting to make a deal,they brought out a price of MSRP $45,000 and a sale price of $35,000.You can buy a 2019 for $35,000 or less with the SAME options.I suggested going to their website.They did but the price had changed and acted like I was mistaken.It was listed at the price I said just 1 1/2 hours before I got there.I've been considering that 2018 for the past 3 days and every day it showed $27,000.The 2019 4WD truck pictured is the one I was considering before deciding on the 2018.If the 2018 price was a typo,they should have said it was instead of changing the price and pretending that I don't know what in the hell I'm talking about.

Contacted them about an out of state purchase. They sent over a buyer's order and added on over $5000 in fees and incorrect taxes. They tacked on $1200 in "dealer accessories" because they put tires on the car, changed air filter, checked wipers, and detailed car...LOL. You know, the things that are part of the purchase price everywhere else. Apparently that wasn't included in the $650 dealer fee they tacked on too.

Sales contact verified vehicle availability and set an appointment for a test drive. Management called later that day to verify appointment. Salesman was pleasant and prepared when we arrived for the test drive. No pressure. The dealership was able to accommodate the requested changes to the vehicle at a price we were comfortable with. Took delivery two days later. Minor trim issue that was discovered after arriving home will be repaired tomorrow. Over all, very pleased.

At some point the price was raised to more than the amount I was quoted that included all the taxes and fees. The car was sold shortly after that, which is fine because I never would have done business with them after the terrible first impression.

I had been looking at a vehicle for a week or so when I contacted GFL. They responded within 15 minutes & I had an appointment set up to see the car the same evening. I really appreciated the salesman's friendliness & not just pushing me to buy. My only complaint would be when signing the paperwork, the gentleman in finance really pressured us to buy service add ons. Even going as far to continue multiple times after we gave a hard "No", so that was a bit frustrating. Overall though, it was a good experience.

Horrible customer service. One of their sales reps left me hanging and didn't get back to me until hours after I waiting on him for 30 minutes to look at a pre-owned vehicle. Hard to believe considering I included the make, model, trim level, VIN # and their stock # while negotiating online. It sold two days later at a higher price. Bad business to say the least.

Overall experience was not a good one. Scheduled an appointment on Wednesday for a Friday morning meeting. When I arrived and shown the truck, it was very dirty, inside and out, and smelled of smoke. Sales associate said it must of been the last guy who we loaned the truck. Dealership did clean the truck. Although they did have a few days to take care of this before we arrived. Our finance person was great. That’s about it.

They were willing to work with me unlike some other dealers. The salesman Jeff was great and worked very hard to get us a great deal on the car I ended up purchasing. I will definitely go back for future purchases.
DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!
They lied to get me to drive 2.5 hours there and when I got there the man I had made an appt with was on his scheduled day off! They offered to give me practically nothing for my trade. Ran my credit and came back with awful options when I had already explained I had secured great loan terms with my credit union.
I walked out after 2 hours.
Two days later I found a vehicle at another dealership that was 2 years newer with 35k less miles for $5k less than the one they tried to sell me and was given $5k more for my trade they what they offered.
We wasted a day we could have spent with our kids, my husband wasted a day off of work and fuel to drive there and back.

I found this truck on CarGurus on Tuesday and talked to salesman on Wednesday. Sounded great.
Went to the dealership at 9am Thursday, looked at it, drove it, bought it and was out by 12:15pm.
Great sales experience. The truck did have a cracked windshield for no known reason and they are going to send someone out to my house Monday to replace that.
I found the passengers side blind spot mirror was broken and reported it to the salesman. He says he is reporting it to his manager for repair. Since it is for certified I am sure they will fix it along with the windshield.
The dealership was a very relaxed and efficient atmosphere (coffee, cafe, etc.).
If their service after the sale is like the sales experience then I'm in love with this place.
After the glass repair I plan to move this to 5-star rating.
So we dealt with 4 people. I repeat, 4 people! The person our appointment was with(he reviewed car fax report only), a salesperson who actually showed us/test drove the vehicle, then the finance guy(gave is a great deal), and then the guy that put the plates on the car for us (nice guy but pretty irritating to wait over 30 min to be able to leave Bc he can't find the 2nd car key, especially when we had already been there about 2 hours with a toddler in tow). Overall it was a good car buying experience. Just wierd to be handed off to so many people. I'm used to dealing with a salesperson and then a finance person. Too many hand offs.

They quickly emailed us and were responsive to our questions. We
purchased the vehicle that evening, which was a Monday. We were told
the SUV still needed to go through their service check and be detailed and
that they had an appointment for this to be done the next morning. We did
not get to pick it up until Thursday, so this took them 3 days to do. The car
was fairly clean when we test drove it and it looked no different when we
picked it up. When we got it home, re realized the front passenger side
door will not open from the inside. We have no idea as to why, but this is
surely something they should have noticed if they checked the car over.
We did not notice this when we drove it and never would have imagined it
to be a problem on a newer vehicle. It is still under warranty, so we will
take it to a different location for this to be addressed. When we picked it
up, the salesman came out and handed us a key with a here you go. No
thank you, no direction to where the car was, nothing. We only received
one key fob to the vehicle, which is very disappointing when it has no key
and must have a key fob for the car to start. We were told they had one, so
that is all we got. In the future, I will remember to ask that little detail, since
it is critical for all newer cars. We also realized when we got home that we
were not told the keyless entry code. I had to call them to get it. No
customer service whatsoever. We already had our financing in order from
our credit union when we arrived there. We allowed them to try and get our
business for financing, if they could match or beat our interest rate. They
did, so we went through their finance man. They then called me a week
after the purchase because they missed having my husband sign one of
the papers. They had to email it to him and he had to send it back. They
just do not seem organized at all. I was not impressed with my experience
there and would not go back to purchase a vehicle.

I contacted Grapevine Ford on a Saturday which
admittedly is the busiest Day of the week for car
dealers, spoke to G....asked about availability of
the ..., asked about the possibility of shipping the
car - was met with a negative response, asked for
a Carfax and pictures, which I never received.
G...was too busy. Paid for the Carfax out of my
own pocket, purchased an airline ticket, paid for
my own ground transportation, hotel. Arrived at
the grapevine ford dealership at 8:30, on Monday
morning , I was allowed to drive the car around
the block once, I was told I could not drive on the
highway because the dealership had previously
been burned by a customer who wrecked the car
in a similar situation. I was asked by C... if I
wanted to purchase the car - replied yes, he took
the paperwork to a sales manager who instantly
jacked up the price over $800. Negotiated the
price back downto $XXXX A fair deal by car gurus
standards. Asked for the curb rash to be
repaired on the wheels, I got lots of excuses but
they said they would try - the final line was that
the wheel repair man wasn’t in on that day. I was
given loaner to use since the car had not been
inspected or detailed yet (new arrival), I was told
their gas pump was damaged and that I would be
reimbursed for gas - that never happened. The
inspection was delayed by a part the dealer
needed, was never told what part they were
waiting for. The inspection and detail took about
11 hours which is understandable under the
situation, The car’s finish showed some
scratches that I had not noted when it was dirty.
I then drove the car back home without incident.
I was agitated by the old-school approach to car
sales demonstrated by Grapevine Ford, a
Berkshire Hathaway dealership. During my
search for a car, I contacted and spoke with
several dealerships, and found their approach
much more enlightened than the high-volume
pressure atmosphere that I experienced at
Grapevine Ford, Maybe I was naïve but I really
thought treating customers as a mark, while
handing out misinformation had disappeared from
the automotive business. That definitely is not the
case at Grapevine ford, I can’t help but wonder if
this dog eat dog corporate culture ( extending to
their overworked employees) comes down from
W....., or is an attitude found at the dealership
level with C... the general manager. Either way I
have no reason to return to Grapevine Ford and
definitely would not recommend the dealership to
anyone in the Dallas area.

This car was for my wife, we had looked a different Ford Dealer, but they didn't have the car she wanted, and I found it at Grapevine Ford on your web site. The Sales Man and Finance Dept. were great. Till it came time to pick up the Car. No one took the time to show her the features of the car(radio, snyc phone, etc..) Horrible experience, Finance guy has made the process very uncomfortable, the price on the Vehicle went down to 26,437, upon purchasing the vehicle he brought the price back up on the paperwork, I did not get all my paper work I sign, tried to contact him several times and still have not receive a call or an e-mail from him concerning the paper work I ask for, plus it seems I was charge for things I did not get, paid for extra warranty, called the warranty company they said that my vehicle was not in their system, so I suggest if you look to purchase a vehicle from this company pay very much attention to what you are signing and make sure they give you all your paper work before leaving this place ......the only Good Thing was I had a wonderful sales lady, .....

I live 5 hrs away from the dealership. That being said
i was concerned about what could go wrong buying
a used car almost sight unseen. All of the sales

trade. Things changed on my end but the sales team

car was more than i expected, the 5 hr drive back

spent a total time of 1.5 hrs at the dealership
including the test drive and less than 30 minutes in

I drove 3.5 hours to meet with this dealer about a deal they had on a car. When I arrived, they told me the car had just been approved for another customer who now had the car in her possession and who was still trying to decide if she wanted the car or not.
While we waited, the sales guy tried to sale me a 2012 Honda Crosstour for a similar price, even though I told him that I wanted to see the car I had drove all the way across Texas for.
Finally the lady decided she didn't want the car and turned it back in. We immediately took it for a test drive, from which I discovered that the cae did not have all the features I was looking for and that I was assured it did. Needless to say, I was less than impressed with the car.
When we got back to the dealership, the salesman set me up with his sales boss to start the financial process. The man was pushy and rude, and without even running my credit told me I wasn't going to get approved for the car and that I was better off leasing a new 2016 version of it. He even went so far as to direct me to a "great friend of his" at a dealership 30 minutes further away that he said might be able to get me a deal.
I sat there astonished at the news I was hearing and became increasingly annoyed when I realized that I had drove 3.5 hours for nothing.
I told the sales boss that I had decided to purchase my car somewhere else, and he smugly looked at me, snatched up the test drive car's keys and said, "You won't be needing these." And walked off.
I then had to hunt down my original salesman who still had my car keys and finally leave.
Do not buy from Grapevine Ford. They are rude and unprofessional. A lot of Yelp reviews say that same about their used car buying experience. Beware of this dealership.

Went to dealer as requested and salesman I was to meet was tied up. Salesman who came to help me was to say a bit arrogant and cocky in my opinion. After looking at the car I ask to have the salesman I was supposed to meet call the following day, which he did. I told him what I was looking for, and never heard back. No wonder this dealship gets such bad reviews. Felt like I was suppose to sell myself the car instead of the dealership trying to sell me the car.

They asked for a time I could come in - at 8:00 A.M. I gave them the time which was at 1:00 P.M.
They called me when I was on the way and said it just sold.
They did say the would have another one the next day.
A sales person called me at 1:30 and asked if I was coming to look at the car I inquired about.
I went in and they did not have one.
They called several times the next 2 days saying they had a 2013 model in - I told them I was not interested in a 2013 especially sense they wanted 1,000 more than the 2014. I told them I was looking at a 2015 with less miles for the same price and it had more options.
They wanted to know what dealer I was going to.
They called and emailed me again.
I will never visit this dealer again

Couldn't answer questions on phone, so I drove out to look at the car. Salesman went into "sales" mode before I ever had a chance to look at the car. When I insisted on seeing the car before talking further, he disappeared for 10 minutes to "get the key". Actually, he may have been gone more then 10 minutes, because I wasn't there when he returned.

Horrible experience!!!!! I did find a car i liked but was lied to from the beginning! Salesman was very pushy and said anything I wanted to hear just to make the sale. My car needed a few things fixed on it and that took a whole week and not once did anyone ever call me or call me back when I've called and left messages. They are very unprofessional and dont seem to care much about the customer. I spent 24K on my new car and shouldnt have to go through this or be treated like this. When trying to talk to a manager about my issues and problems, all he did was argue with me and he did not even try to listen.
