He was *never* pushy, gave his honesty in the things I was looking for: the price, mileage, engine. We done most of our communication via Text which was great bc He would send pics and I could say yes or no before we even got into anything. Definitely a 5 star from our family! We haven’t purchased from here or at all yet and I still will recommend them to anyone.

I contacted them about a 2004 Toyota Camry. The price listed was $6000. Then they told me they had to replace the tires and finish the inspection. After the inspection, they told me they were not going to cover dealers fees and were going to sell the car for $900 more than listed. I tried to negotiate and they asked me to sign a document that had the total cost of the vehicle at just under $9000. The carfax showed the services they performed were performed less than 10000 miles before they said they were performed, and the Gene Messer updated carfax did not list the repairs they supposedly did. Would not recommend.

Very smooth purchase, never felt pressured! Truck hadn’t gone through the shop yet to make certain safety inspection was good and truck was ready and safe to drive! Lent me a loaner truck for 2 days til mine was ready! I’ve never had a dealership deliver such high standards! Not my first truck I’ve bought from them! 5 star customer service!

Horrible customer service! They didnâÂÂt wanna sell
me a car in the first place and they made that
evident. I came from Clovis NM to this dealership
for a specific car but apparently it was sold even
though it was still on the lot. They only showed
me 3 cars and I only got to test drive 1, the other
2 needed to be serviced. He told me that if I could
come up with more of a downpayment, (which I
did) he would work with me. I told the guy that I
liked the car that I got to test drive and he worked
up a deal for me. When I declined the offer, he
told me to âÂÂhave a nice dayâ in a rude tone. He
didnâÂÂt offer me another car, he didnâÂÂt negotiate
with me, he just dismissed me. It was rude and
unprofessional, maybe itâÂÂs because I am a
woman
and I was alone when I came? Idk but thatâÂÂs not
how you treat people, the men I dealt with were

I don’t understand why it’s so hard to just be honest and conduct business in a professional manner with a little integrity and common courtesy instead of wasting people’s time and. In complete honesty the last few years have been vey difficult times and life changes have not been kind to my credit scores. I am basically starting life over again from the bottom with zero. I desperately need a safe and dependable vehicle so I submitted an offer to trade my Yukon 97 for a vehicle I found on Cargurus in which they gave a $ amount in trade and supposedly I was pre approved for financing with Westlake Financial. Next was submit the offer to dealership. I was contacted by Ashley and he sent an email asking me to submit all my personal information again that they already had and he would get everything together and call when ready. And then just like “poof!” I was ghosted. Haven’t heard back from anyone else since then.Tried calling, texting, emails and voicemails!!! I’m done with this.

Salesmen circle like sharks and then backstab each other. The second time we went, we told a guy the name of someone who had helped us a few days before and he ignored us and started showing us cars. I wouldn’t trust them to be honest.

I received a follow up email with the same info that cargurus provided and the saleperson's contact information. No
other details, and I was specifically interested in Rav4 Hybrids and the Camry Hybrids, but all the Rav4 info was included.
Then, a different salesman, Victor contacted me with price quotes on several vehicles that I was interested in. He sent me
the listings which had all the standard and optional features that were included in each vehicle. Awesome! I wound up
looking at a dealership closer to home, but found that Victor was professional!

Tacoma was for sale but when we went in manager said it has just sold. A few days later a sales person called and asked if we were still interested in the Tacoma. We said that we thought it had sold. He came back and said that it had sold. What is going on here??? Did the manager buy it or hold it for a friend??

I had a great experience at Gene Messer Toyota. My inquiry was responded to quickly. I live 125 miles away from the dealership which mandated that most of my dealings were done over the phone. My calls/texts were answered in a timely manner. All my questions were answered quickly. The salesman made sure all was right with the vehicle before he would say it was ready for me to drive up and see it. Then the knowledge of the vehicle and the helpfulness through the whole process at the dealership was extemptilary. I love my new vehicle and would recommend Gene Messer Toyota and Tucker Leeeson 100%.

My little guy clicked on this car by accident, I didn't notice till they contacted me which was very quick, Baleigh at the dealership was super nice and friendly but this wasn't the car I was looking for. Drove 100 miles to see this vehicle and it was exactly what I was looking for. Needless to say it came home with me. Great experience with Gene Messer dealership in Lubbock, TX. Highlander was in tip top showing condition and staff was honest, friendly, and helpful. Thanks to everyone involved!

Received info on truck and offered assistance if we desired to purchase. Talked to salesperson twice and she was most helpful. And made sure that another person would follow up with me as she was to take vacation. That person did offer assistance as well.

The in-person service was way better
than internet service! Dealer didn't reply
for 18+ hours for the Gutu contact; we
actually drove 30 miles to the dealership
and talked with a salesman and left
before we got a return call on the
CarGuru contact request. However, they
then gave us incorrect information that
the vehicle was still available -- the in-
person salesman said it was sold.
