BEWARE!!! If you're shopping for a new car online - scroll past this dealer! Whether intentionally or not, Forest City Honda will mislead you and you’ll paymore than you intend for a vehicle with less options than you desire. I am kicking myself for trusting this dealer. The process seemed easy but the reality-You will be hoodwinked. The big flag I clearly missed- this dealer doesn't post their price online and when you inquire on a vehicle you want, they'll push you to a lesser vehicle that looks identical. And when you get to the paperwork, watch out! An hour wait wore me down. So kicking myself! The final paperwork process was another bait and switch. I asked for Honda Financing and they tried to push me to a local bank. When I asked why? I was told Honda didn't finance for the term I requested. Wouldn't you know it, HONDA financing was available and at a better rate! So glad I had researched enough to stand my ground. Just shouldn't have been so blind to the shell game

Excellent dealership! Good prices and great people. Everyone was nice and helpful. Our salesperson, Angie Connor, was very helpful and knowledgeable about our new Honda Civic EX. Even came in on her day off just to have everything perfect for us when we came to purchase and pick up.

If I could give negative stars I would. I am in sales and this is the worst sales transaction I’ve ever had fueled with lies, dishonesty and a severe lack of integrity. As a service to the public of Forest City-please take you hard earned money elsewhere because this deceptive and lying business does not deserve your time. For reference of my experience we agreed upon an out the door price final price that included delivery, detail, docs fees (699) temp tag and registration. The worksheet confirmed the correct price and then they gave the bank wire information with the same exact number. The GM Darrius then had the audacity to say that I owed them more money to deliver the vehicle. I finally agreed to $500 for a flatbed delivery 350 miles away but instead he had people drive the car to me adding miles, it was trashed with food from the trip and they left us with no gas. He would not refund my money for the inappropriate delivery method. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

Unfortunately, the price that was advertised ($36,636) was in error. The correct price was $39,636. When I inquired to purchase the vehicle, I was made aware that the advertised price was incorrect. The salesman (Micky) was very nice and apologized for the error. The price was corrected almost immediately on the website.

Forest city Honda replied several times from a few different people. I set up an appointment to test drive the jeep. Told them specifically that I am only interested in the jeep so if anything changed to please notify me because I am 2 hours away. When I arrived I was told the vehicle was not there but they could show me others. Asked why I was not called and told the jeep was sent to auction and was told that a call center handles the emails and sets up the appointments for all the properties but they do not have accurate information of the inventory on a daily basis. I walked away, I will never do business with this company and have informed everyone I can of the underhand system they have to get you on the lot while never considering the loss of time and money of the customer. Very unprofessional and sneaky.

We made an appointment for Thursday morning. They sold the car on Wednesday and didn't inform us . We wasted time and money to go there . We will never do business with them.

I was very unhappy with my experience. The salesman was nice and easy to talk to, but after he had done all the leg work I was directed to a different person- a sales manager I guess. That's when it started to go downhill. The car we were interested in was priced reasonably, but the offer for our car was not good. We were trying to get to a certain payment per month and they were able to get that--we thought because they had given more for our car. NO-when we were in the process of signing, they had gotten to that price by extending the term and we weren't aware!

I contacted the dealer online. Got an email saying this vehicle was still available and wanted me to come in for a test drive. My husband and I took off work to test drive this particular truck. When we arrived we were met by a sales associate. We told him we had an appointment to test drive this vehicle. He looked confused and said this truck had been sold A WEEK AGO. Wanted to sell us something else. We walked out. We won't fall for another bait and switch from this dealership!

Received several contacts from this dealer. Upon visual inspection of this vehicle, I saw numerous questionable items that made me reluctant to pursue this vehicle further. Vehicle was listed "As Is", no warranty available. Could easily be $1500-2000 in after purchase repairs needed. Unit was polished nicely, but caveat emptor.

Slow to respond when I came onto lot and stood waiting to see car, after I called ahead. Financing mgr. not able to answer question on rates and final pricing when we offered $6k for car, $2000 down cash and finance $4000. He only wanted to get application, and run credit. Payment $360 a month was what he offered and wanted me to sign a paper. I left mad and not going back. They need to get educated.

The staff was very helpful. They had the vehicle we had been searching for and we purchased it the next day. They made every effort to accommodate our needs by removing dealer installed accessories that we did not desire. Forest City Honda is a very good dealership to work with.

Interested in making a buck! Dock fees high plus fee for new plate even tho I had a trade in and could use current plate! When the salesperson reuzed it was no deal, he snatched up the paperwork and walked away! Not a good experience overall!

The car's selling price listed on CarGurus was $3000 less then the price the dealer quoted. The dealer's website did not have a price for the car and when I asked the dealer about the price discrepancy, their answer was CarGurus price was a mistake.. However, as of 3/6 the CarGurus price was still the same $3000 less. It seems to me, the price listed on CarGurus was intended to get the customer "in the door"..

They kept pressing me into buying a car I really did not want. Salesman kept calling me and when I told him I found something else.... He always assured me I was making a bad decision and that I should just buy a car through him.. They are not professional if you ask me. It was a total waste of time and gas.

Really liked the car. We wrote them the check and even told them we wanted a temp tag so we could transfer our current tag off one of our vehicles. Guess they couldn't do this. After writing the check, they said this was not possible. So we asked for the money back. We should be able to have 30 days on a temp tag to do a transfer. They lost a cash deal because of this. They only do a new title or a direct transfer off a vehicle. Hated it as I really liked this vehicle. Oh well. Would have given them 5*

Apparent poor communications within the dealership. Text communications a lead me to believe that I was to be the buyer of a Honda CR-V. While at the bank arranging to put the bank in touch with the dealership I was informed by text that the car had been sold. I called the salesman who told me that another salesman had sold the car just 2 hours before. I felt like I had been strung along. The salesman told me I had not placed a deposit on the car. I had not been asked for a deposit. I should have been called/texted by the salesman to inform me that someone else was interested and if I wanted to reserve the car to provide a deposit, which I would have gladly done. I called back and expressed my disappointment to the sales manager who readily took responsibility and apologized. Lesson learned by me, and I believe by the dealership. I have no a anamosity for the dealership, only for the process. Such experiences make one believe that there is little to trust when you are not dealing face-to- face. It also seems a matter of pressure to turn inventory and online sales can easily morph into cut-throat behavior between salespersons, something for sales management to temper, or not, depending on how they want to do business - boiler room tactics or gentlemanly persuasion. Regardless, as a buyer, be aware and cover your bases.
