Drove from Michigan to look at a Jeep, called the day before to Insure that there was nothing wrong with it mechanical issues, body imperfections etc. They assured me everything was in perfect condition. Showed up the following day after a 3 hour drive, took a 5 second walk around and noticed all sorts of imperfections. Paint chips everywhere door dings, the headlight it seemed was possibly being used as a fishbowl. Needless to say was straight up lied to. Proceeded to look at another grand Cherokee they had which was listed at a fair price. Got done with the test drive decided we would be interested in possibly buying, I asked them to give me the full numbers including taxes and fees. They came out with the full rundown which had a 4000 dollar extra charge for all sorts of aftermarket warranty garbage. I told them I did not want any of that. They replied by saying it was a mandatory purchase. Listed price on any used vehicle there is not real expect to add 4000 dollars.

I did purchase a 2025 Chrysler Pacific. The van is great so far. 2 Things I didn't appreciate was 1) Being told as
retired military that I wasn't eligible for the military discount that Chrysler offered. After showing and explaining the
definition, I was able to get a partial discount. 2) They did not mention that the van does not come with a spare tire. I
thought a spare tire was something every vehicle comes with. At least tell me so I could get a spare before driving in
Chicago.

Vehicle was listed as carfax clean no accidents or damage and one owner vehicle was advertised as Ram Certified with 3 months bumper to bumper warranty. They low balled me on my trade in a 2017 Ram 1500 sport but it is what it is on that. They rushed through paperwork on financing and was also told by salesman and finance manager that it’s carfax clean and Ram certified with 3 month warranty. After all paperwork they didn’t give me carfax or anything pertaining to the Ram certified 3 months warranty. It was a Saturday purchase. I called numerous times starting the Monday 12/14/2025 and several days all week. All I got was voicemail and no response. I called numerous times Ram corporate. The vehicle still isn’t saying I am owner and corporate didn’t help. I contacted better business bureau and my attorney as some minor issues popped up like a recall notice for the abs system and the radio is making a humming sound. I can’t even take it to local dealer without having to pay out of pocke

Lied to me! We drove over 6 hours to look at a truck that I was told had no smokers as previous owners, but the truck reeked of cigarette smell. The truck also had a poorly repaired blown head gasket, smelled like radiator fluid was leaking, and had horrible patch work on the leather seats. Clearly a dog had chewed on the interior as well that was cleverly hidden in the pictures online. They didn't even put into the effort clean the truck they knew we were driving 6 hours to come see. I also had called ahead to put a hold on the truck to make sure it wasn't sold before i committed to taking off work to drive up there, and the first person to walk up to me 100% was offering me the car before he confirmed I was the one with a hold on the vehicle. Drove home empty handed and very disappointed. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

The guy I spoke with was very adamant about me
coming into the dealership when I told him as a
busy mom of 2 I didn’t really have the time to. He
refused to give me any pricing on the truck I wanted
so I purchased my 2025 Dodge Durango elsewhere.
Wanted to do business with them but they did not
want to do business with me before coming in.

Horrible experience. I was given a price on a vehicle that I was interested in purchasing that was almost 4 grand more than the listing price. Once we looked at the breakdown, the dealership was adding in all these extra things that were optional that we were not aware of. After trying to negotiate the price of the vehicle, the dealer just removed the additions that were optional and said that they were discounting the vehicle although all they did was remove the optional additions that we did not ask for initially. Very untrustworthy dealership and would not recommend to anyone looking to purchase.

Bait and switch dealer. Their advertised prices are not real. The challenger I inquired on was $4500 more due to having dealer installed BS. Exterior/interior coating, etching, "dealer installed navigation?". The fact that they still do this must mean people fall for it. Be warned. Stay away.
As for the customer relations manager... Don't bother in responding. I won't be contacting you to better help you understand that this is a scummy dealership.

Typical bait and switch. Had a car listed online at
52,627. Wonât do any negotiations over the phone
so drove 1.5 there. When I got there Trevell greeted
me and informed me that the price listed online is
with all available incentives and I only qualified for 1
bringing my OTD price over 60k so I countered at
54 OTD and his sales manager Siril said 55k OTD
and not a dollar less and to âlet me walk out if I
donât like the priceâ I agreed to 55k and said Iâd be
back tomorrow to finalize paperwork as we were
going through our own
financing and bring car home and when Trevell
brought out paperwork, it was back up over 60k out
the door price. I questioned why the numbers
changed and he said heâd get his sales manager
and they both came over and sales manager said
they never agreed to 55k out the door which was a
complete lie! They are crooks and donât give a crap
about service or morals. 6 hours of driving back
and fourth for nothing. Complete waste of time and
ignorant sales manager.

The dealership would not confirm the price that was listed on Cargurus and their website unless I
visited their dealership. I live 80+ miles from the dealership and stated to them I would not visit
unless the price is confirmed and that I was a buyer at that price. They refused to do so.

Be careful when dealing with this dealership. I m not accusing them of lying, but they change their story
frequently. I wanted to test drive a car I was looking at, and was told no one day, though they did let me drive
it slowly around the building.
I then asked what kind of room they had in regards to pricing. They told me the price was firm, and that they
only make a few hundred dollars on these types of cars. A week later, the price dropped $2,500 (from
$50,990 to $48,990). About a week later, they advertised a price drop on the same vehicle, that showed the
price of $48,990 - which was a $500 increase from the lower price the week before.
I really liked the car I was looking at, but I decided I would look elsewhere as they did not earn my business
at all.

Despite asking as many questions as possible, and attempted to do my due diligence before wasting an hour
and a half of my life, the vehicle was not as represented. The manager stated he would follow up with me, but
never did. The general manager forwarded a generic email and I responded with my displeasure; he, too,
never responded. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the actual sales person was friendly,
knowledgeable. It's a shame is leadership and support team failed him!

Out of state buyers may as well stop here and save yourself some grief. Like other long distance buyers - I also had the same frustrating experience. All this dealership would say was the vehicle was there. The E price is for ‘local’ buyers only - and they have to reapply any rebates or incentives based on where you live. That catch is - you have to come to the dealership to get this info - giving them all the advantages and affording the buyer none. They are completely oblivious or don’t care about what it actually takes for a out of state buyer to get to Chicago. The internet reps were ‘cold’ ‘closed down’ and offered no useful information over the phone or through email. I have no idea how this E dept is useful to the dealership or potential buyers from CarGurus. Another dealership sent me a PFD of a Gladiator they had for sale - with the sale price - fees and told me to call them if I wanted to purchase it - so this isn’t rocket science. Good luck getting anything done here.

I called two representatives to check if the
Jeep Grand Cherokee 2022 ( limited ) is
available and was told to come in that evening
to test drive it. I drove to the dealership
immediately. When I showed up I met with the
sales representative ( Juan ) which informed
me that the car is in the shop. He explained
that they are working on fixing the bumper in a
brand new car. He tried switching me to a
different car which was 6000$ more
expensive.
I asked to speak to a manager, which told me
that they would call me as soon as the car is
fixed. At that point I knew that they were lying
to me. I called Juan the next day and left him
a voicemail, since he promised to send me the
before and after photos of the car from the
shop. He never returned my phone call. STAY
AWAY from this dealership and save yourself
time and money.

I called this dealership before I driven miles to go look at this car to see can I get a better deal since I'm paying cash only they say yes but you have to come in and negotiate with us. I said OK I will be there in about 30 minutes and I got there and they would not go down on a piece at all so they waste my time in my gas And I will never ever recommend this Dealership to anyone.

I purchased this Jeep. They delivered for me; their porter blew all the illinois tolls and thought it was funny. The Jeep yanks to the side when you apply the brakes, so hard that it has gone off the road once already, I have tried contacting the dealership numerous times and haven't had a response from them yet. Voicemail, emails you name it. No response. They are "searching" for the spare key, no update on that either.I called the service department, they stated they have the inspection report but I have to talk to my salesman to get it- I left a voicemail- no response on that either. The service department aparently had no way of emailing me the report. They are quick to get you to buy- but as soon as you purchase and the vehicle leaves their store- good luck!

I didn’t mind this dealership, everyone was nice. I did leave messages though and no one ever got back to me. I wish they would have of shown me how to work the features in my new car I got from them and to get my set up. The financial gentleman Josa was very nice! It took forever to get paperwork done, I would sign something and then wait 45 mins and then sign another thing and wait another 45 mins, so that was a little annoying.

I had the worst experience with this dealership the salesman I worked with knew nothing about the vehicles or anything in stock. They brought a dirty car for me to test drive and argued with me that the car was not dirty.I could see used tissue on the floors and coffee stains on the speakers. Instead of the salesman pulling the vehicles up he had me walk in the rain to see cars he didn’t know anything about. Both salesmen refused to give direct answers and lied about the vehicle having an accident. When I asked for car fax he pulled it up on the computer and scrolled real fast through. When I asked for a print out of the car fax he was hesitant, I had to ask again. He brought the print out and right at the top was the accident he was trying to avoid me seeing. I reached out to the sales manager and of course he didn’t get back to me. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone because they seem not care about how they treat there customers. BE CAREFUL GOING HERE!!!

Negotiations on this truck are not good, visit them for 3 times , literally they have this truck trade in for $20,000 they hold on the truck to sale for holidays it's a boomer , offer them reasonable price $26,850 they are not talking with me shame!

Went in to test drive a vehicle with 6,000 miles and air conditioning did not work. Shared that the vehicle needed service work and would be in contact the next day to get me back in. A week+ elapses and I am given the run around daily that the vehicle is still being worked on and I would be the first to be contacted when the vehicle was ready. I am finally told on a Tuesday that the vehicle would be ready Friday. The following day, the vehicle is sold and I am not notified. Stay away from this dealership, very unprofessional, full of snakes, with poor communication went no etiquette.

Horrible Dealership! I live out of town and was trying to negotiate the car and the price with this dealer before I fly out to buy
their car, but apparently this dealer lacks all professional communication and you feel like you are being treated like by the
IRS with dull dry responses that makes you really feel sick! What training these guys have gone through seriously!!!
I have been trying to speak with a manager to sort out the price deal on this car before I travel and I hear from this terrible
dealership is no price discussion or negotiation unless I be at the showroom!! I explained this to them over 7 times that I'm not
from town and want to secure this deal and these people lack all sorts of professionalism and communication. I am not sure
how dealers like these stay in business with this horrible attitude!
Just give yourself a favor and stay away from this place!

They called me to confirm my appointment and vehicle 30 minutes before my appointment. They told me that they would have the car pulled up for me to look at. I get there and they take information and come back 5 minutes later telling me the car was sold the night before. I drove 2 hours to get here and also called out of work, they simply did not care. The biggest part was the person that called, was the sales manager. The same one that told me it was gone! Overall horrible experience, the sales people were not inviting at all. They were all just sitting around near the front door and only one greeted me. Buyer beware!

Great experience purchasing my vehicle with this dealer
These guys are just out to pay for their new building. EPrice is not what you see. Even after speaking to them about price before arriving it changed almost $6000. 2400 extra for resistall undercoating they put on every vehicle. Well that should have already been in price. Applied every rebate imaginable in price. Only to find out im not qualified for almost any of them lol. A bunch of dishonest people there. Bought my vehicle from somewhere else with more options at the original eprice quoted. Dont waste your time here!

Great people, quick process. Disliked the typical pricing trick tho. Lists for $21,302 online as the dealer price, but then you come in to find out you are *forced* to pay an additional $1k-$3k for included protection packages for your vehicle. Upon complaining, they instantly discount it to "cost" which tells me this is a fairly common occurrence that they haven't actually done anything about. Aside from dishonest pricing, great shop!
Jose Jurado and Tommy Gonzalez where great to work with. No BS, No bait and switch. Very impressed that ALL members of this dealership were practicing Covid safety! Will definitely buy from here again without a second thought. Also we received a great price on our Islander. If you want to spend your money where people appreciate your business, look no further. Moe the General Manager has a great team in place!!

GREAT Communication, Listing accuracy, On-site experience. the car was clean and ready for a test-drive.
GREAT Customer service. the dealership staff friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend the dealer to friends.
From the moment we stepped in, we were comfortable with the atmosphere. We did not purchase on
our first visit and did not feel any pressure to do so.
This is only one of the reasons we returned to buy a truck from them! Kudo's to Derick, Hitarth and the
one and only Mr. Hooker! You guys made buying this truck, fun... Thank you!!!
After 5 minutes in the showroom waiting to be greeted
by anyone...Had to call the person who knew I was
coming in for appointment for her to ask someone to
help.
The car they knew I was coming to see, a 2018 High
Altitude, was dirty and the suspension/alignment were
questionable at best. The other car I asked to drive had
a tire that was so low it was hard to tell how the car
handled.
The sales guy assigned to us, Patel, was very nice and
accomdating. The dealership should really try a bit
harder towards a good customer experience, from the
time of arrival to making sure the car is ready for a test
drive.
Could have been a random bad experience, but felt like a
total waste of time.

They did everything fast & easy but u get confused if u don't ask questions so they start to improve the deal
I wanted to purchase a new vehicle that this dealer had, and the dealer would not do
email or phone just kept saying I need to make an appointment to come in and would
barley answer any questions I had. I did mention that many dealers now offer on line
purchase and delivery and they told me they do not do that and I need to make an
appointment to come in, so I bought my vehicle elsewhere.
Refused to answer questions over the phone before I took a 50 minute drive to get to them. I stood in lobby for 10 minutes and someone finally asked did I have anyone helping me. Told me they were going to do a soft credit check but sent my information to almost 10 different banks. They didn’t appraise my 2020 car and wasn’t offering me my first responder discount and the power dollar discount. Overall they’re unprofessional.

I went to the dealership to see the car and offered a lower price to purchase. Salesperson said the internet price was final price. No negotiations. Two weeks later, the price dropped a little so I contacted dealer by email and said my previous offer stands. They said they only take offers in person and to come in. Not falling for that again. "Internet price is final price." I'll find another Challenger elsewhere.

There great I plan on buying the juke if it’s still available.
I reached out and let them know I had a preapproval and made a trip over an hour
for one of my worst shopping experiences. The sales rep took down my info about
my preapproval, asked me some random questions about if i was a first responder,
veteran etc then did the old "talk to my manger thing" and came back with a price
around 5K higher then the internet price that I texted about before the trip. He tried
to use that the internet price is for those who quality for the rebates due to those
random questions he asked earlier( you a first responder, veteran, etc). After
repeatedly trying to get me to budge near the new extreme price he did the "talk to
the manager thing". Then a bad example of leadership walked over and alluded to
my credit score being the reason he can't do better then drop monthly around $20
not the 5k price hike. I'm withholding how I felt my family was treated walking in
because it's more subjective( I planned on sharing with a higher manager).
Absolutely terrible dealer, if I could give them a negative star I would. I was told the price
of the Jeep and I drove an hour there, a random salesman came and told me I do not
qualify xxxx discount, so the price went up by $6000, when I am about to leave, the so-
called manager came and haggle about monthly payment, and tried to con me into some
"10K down payment lease" to make the monthly payment low, C'mon I graduated from
elementary school and am no fool, stop playing stupid tricks and waste my time.

Purchased this vehicle. Walk into dealership 15 minutes to closing on a holiday. Even though it appeared as one of the managers rolled their eyes when we walked in they were more than willing to wait and go above and beyond for the time that we needed. Just wish they would have said earlier that they don't take a personal check and it has to be certified funds to leave with the vehicle. At the end of the day everything worked out great.

Went to test drive a used chevy truck. I saw two defects on the truck. the manger was willing to fix them and work with me on price wise. After telling him that i will think about it. He just said OK and walked away. I guess he wasn't to happy about it. After thinking about it i was going to go back next day to make a deal but with the way that manager reacted i guess i’ll keep looking....

Very accommodating but we didn't follow thru becase
vehicle did not have power windows
I was upfront about doing the deal online due to lockdown/Covid. They are listed as an “at home purchase” dealer. But after several text and phone calls said they would not go forward due to “security reasons” unless I set an appointment and “come into the show room”. I was very clear I was not coming into the show room due to covid, but they said that was a necessity. That was the end.
Financing, security, identification, documents signing can all be done on line in 2020. Cmon Elgin. I really wanted this Pacifica but I don’t need to be in a showroom so you can “up sell” or switch the deal on me.
So disappointing.

These guys make you speak to three separate managers and give you three separate prices and when you're ready to buy they say they

Worst experience I have had trying to purchase a car!!!
I drove 90 miles to buy this car. The salesman was pushing new the 2019 models that they had sale prices on that were out of my price range.
After reviewing their I told both the salesman and finance guy it was more than I was willing to spend but they kept pushing and telling me how great of a deal it was.
Bottom line Elgin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram got what they deserved, NO SALE!!
I left the dealership that night, ended up buying a similar Jeep Compass in Roanoke on Saturday we’re I was treated fair and they actually listened to my needs instead on trying to meet monthly quotas.
I did send the sales manager an email to the dealership in Elgin, he never responded.
Not surprised. WASTE OF TIME.

Elgin replied right away when I reached out about the car, and stayed in constant contact with me throughout the process. We drove about 3.5 hours to see the car, and they had my car pulled up and ready for a test drive. John was helpful and friendly, and we were able to leave a few hours later with my new car!

Good dealership. Might have to haggle a little bit to get the price you want but you will eventually get pretty close. They did work with me though and I'm no ray of sunshine. Bottom line is they got me in the car I wanted for close to what I wanted to spend.

These guys will lie to you to get you at their dealership. Before driving out an
hour one way just to see this car, I contacted the dealership to make sure
there was no wearing of the hood surface (if there was wear, I wouldn't do a
2hr trip for this). They checked and messaged me that it has absolutely no
wear it's just the glare of the sun in the pictures. Half way through my 1 hr
trip I called again to make sure, they assured me there's no wear. I got there
and the hood was basically torn up. They flat out lied and I lost 2 hrs of my
day and gas for nothing - the car was a piece of junk they were trying to sell
for 6x what it's worth. Horrible.
If I could give them a negative star I would. The initial person we dealt with was condescending. Test drove the vehicle, told them about a mechanical problem, he looked at us and spoke to us like we were idiots. The 2nd person we dealt with was nice, however I had to tell him how much THEY were asking for it, the miles, how long they had it, etc. He gave us a price for the vehicle, then came back and rescinded that offer. We drove from another state ready to purchase the car. They would not negotiate on the price at all. I found a better deal elsewhere with a dealership that has gone above and beyond my expectations. Would not recommend this dealership to friend or foe.

Made an appointment to test drive the vehicle. Drove all the way down there only to find out the vehicle had been sold. No message left not even a text stating such. Horrible experience.

I drove an hour to see a used 2017 Ram
1500 listed at $26,490. After getting me
to sign to commit to take vehicle
possession once agreed on my terms of
purchase the manager comes back with
not only a listing price $1000 over
advertised but with a $4000 wax job/
stain guard “protection plan” added to
the total. He pretends the $1000 price
difference was a mistake and takes that
off the top.
So I proceed to tell him I’m not
interested in this vehicle “protection
plan” option and now he discloses to me
it had already been applied on the
vehicle and can’t take it off the price.
Pretending to try and help he kept
coming back to me with a monthly
payment I explained in advance I
couldn’t afford based on a full year
longer than I let him know I was able to
finance, ignoring everything we agreed
on in the beginning.
In summary $26490+ Elgin Chrysler Jeep
Ram = $30k+.

Very quick to respond. Could not agree on a price for the used car we went to go see, not very willing to negotiate. Was showed a newer car, which we decided to buy. Car was not clean when we went to drive either cars, but was cleaned upon buying. We had come to agreement on the deal, where they would fix a very small thing on the car in order for us to meet them at their asking price. Naturally we agreed, it seems as if they really did not care about what was being fixed and did a very bad job. They did not keep their end of the deal. Very unprofessional and disappointing. We understand it's a used car, but we should have been treated with the same respect and importance of service that someone buying a brand new car would get.

Emailed responses back to my questions were unprofessional. Putting multiple ??? behind asking if I was going to come in to see it after bad responses to question such as saying “the information they have on the car accident was same as what I knew so what else did I want to know” when I in fact had no info about the accident other than it had been in one according to car gurus info- horrible attitude to give a possibly customer; not putting your name and information after each response to emails, just unprofessional and felt put off by them.

1 star isn't low enough. If you like being jerked around and lied to while wasting your time this is the place for you! They hate if you have your own financing. Brought a check for price they requested from my credit union. After hour drive,they then wanted a personal check from me to cover "rebates" since the guy who does rebates was gone for the evening. Very shady place. I even mentioned I should've had listened to the reviews I read on here about them.

Super rude, i was not greeted when i walked in. The sales person barely spoke English. The car i test drove was missing the gas door and the car was all scratched up. They wouldn't come down on price at all and were just rude, we left and id never recommend this place to anyone.

At first it seemed to be a good experience until a week later I go to see van again. They lie through their teeth. They jacked the price up 1,000$ more and say they had another one on the lot. Really same year make model mileage and stock #. NOT. Be careful they aren't even willing to go down on the price. Just make sure the check engine light comes on when you start the vehicle. Dealerships will unplug it so you don't have a clue of any issues. Go somewhere else this place is a joke.

I have had 2 experiences with this dealer. The first time they had a Highlander and I call to make sure the car had no issues. I was told no. After driving 40 minutes to get there, tha airbag light was on. They told me they would call me after looking at the problem instead they called me the next day to say it was sold .. the second time, I giot A price drop email from Car gurus and the car was already sold

Terrible, I called and scheduled a test drive drove a hour and a half to get there just to be told it was being test driven when I got there. Sat there for an hour waiting and the person that was test driving it bought it while I sat there. Garbage!!!
