Had an appointment to view a specific vehicle. We were at the dealership a good 15 mins before anyone asked if we’d been helped. Then we found out that the vehicle we made an appointment to see was not there; the GM used it to run an errand. We did not get to test drive the vehicle until almost an hour after our appointment. I emailed an offer that night. No response. I got a text the next day asking how our experience was. I responded and got no response. Later that morning I received a phone call from someone at the dealership who said he did not see my email so I told him my offer. He was very rude in his response and did not provide a counter offer.

Dealer set up appointment to come in at 2:00 got
there at 1:55 go in to speak with sales and they had
no clue what was going on the managers had no
clue finally got the keys to the car and go to test
drive it and it wouldnât even start youâd think they
would be competent enough to have the vehicle
ready for a customer that they set a appointment up
with wasted my time and money
Bad customer service, only looked at the vehicle for 10 min and thats was it, bought the vehicle and i went to filled it up with gas right after i bought it and had problems filling out the gas tank. Took it to a toyota dealership and they found out it needed a new gas tank.
They sure new that it had problem and never told me about it.

I would never purchase a vehicle here
because they donât respect you. I donât like
pushy salespeople.
Horrible, auto was filthy outside, manager was hard sell, left. A day later, called by different manager agreed on price, first manager refused. Agreed on next day to close. Called 20 minutes later and second manager reneged on price with apology and went back to first managers price. Dealer Definitely keystone cops material!

Sales manager gave me a quote of $13,325 on a
1980 hummer h3 alpha. We set up an
appointment for me to bring in my car as a trade
in an see if we could make a deal. While on my
way to the dealership i recived another quote on
the same car from the same dealer of $15,000
that is called bait an switch. I have proof on my
phone. This is a dishonest trick used by dealers
that to get to come to their store. $5,000
difference ! This way of doing business needs to
be stopped.
We made an appointment for a 2020 dodge ram they had. They offered the vehicle at $3000 over the carguru asking price. When we asked why, they blamed carguru and said carguru added that price, not them. We pointed out that the price on their own website was the same and they refused to honor the advertised price and wanted $30594 instead of the advertised $27594. Dishonest practices..

The first time that I went I had an appointment to
test drive a car. I checked in and they told me to
have a seat. After 1 hour of waiting and nobody
approaching me, I left out of frustration and I had
somewhere else to be. I sent a text about my
frustration and that evening the manager called to
apologize and he even offered to bring the car to
my house for a test drive. We ended up going
back the next day. They gave us a good deal on
our trade and we liked the car, so we bought it!
The only warning that I would offer is that the
price online is not their total price. They want to
add on special package pricing that is on the
window sticker, this is added on to the advertised
online price.

price. Secondly one of the charges is for window tinting and from my views of many of this vehicle it already has tinted windows. The price is
good the sales are not.

I asked a very simple question and it wasn’t addressed, although they tried several times for me to just call. I also purposefully did not give my phone number for this very type of thing. All I would like is a straight answer and I don’t think they have one.
It’s very simple really to answer a direct question. Once that answer has been given honestly, I will determine whether or not I am interested in speaking to you further about this car, or any other car you have for me to look at.
It’s frustrating to go through this process on an online listing for a used car. I not expecting perfection. It’s used. But concealing or disregarding my direct question leads me to look elsewhere. I have time, I have money, and I’m not desperately trying to trade in any other car, it’s insulting to me to imply that I’m looking forward to selling a car to you. Cars to me are tools. I do my diligence before I set foot on any lot.

I would definitely recommend this dealer to my worst
enemy. They obviously are not there to sell cars. The
advertised price is no where near the price the expect
you to pay. The vehicle I was interested in was used so
they tried to tell me I had to pay for the maintenance that
vehicle required when it was originally traded in, which
was about $2000. Then they tried to tack on an extra
$3000 for useless add ons, like window tint (which the
vehicle already had) and wheel locks, which they had
already installed so INCLUDE THAT IN THE ADVERTISED
PRICE. Quit wasting people's time, be decent humans.

The dealer immediately contacted us and set a rime for us to visit the showroom (2 hrs later), where we were provided instyructions and were
to as for the VIP area. We approached the reception desk and the receptionist had us wait about 10 minutes while she was on another call.
She then asked us who we wanted to see and acted as if we were lost. Another person then approached us and asked us to fill out some
personal info and asked if we were trading a car? There was definitive interest in this vehicle which we were to see, however, we never had
the feeling we wanted to purchase from this dealership. The salesperson seemed polite, pulled up the car for us to drive, but we were limited
to a 1-2 mile route. It seems the dealership has replaced the customer experience with a streamlined approach to sales. Maybe it was just a
bad day, but we did not observe a flurry of sales activity which would explaion such an impersonal approach at point of sale.

This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. I live out of town, sent a friend in to look at the vehicle, they were never greeted to begin with. Had to locate an associate to look at the car. Once I decided I wanted the car, I asked them to send the paperwork to my bank as I already had financing. I had to call 5 times, have the bank call 3 times, and it took them 3 days to send the paperwork to my bank. They had one price online, but when the bank received the paperwork, there were over $2000 in ‘maintenance costs’ passed along to the customer. The GMs explanation was ‘we are a corporately owned dealership, and these are standard practices’. This is not a standard practice, it’s their way of trying to make more money from a sale. I called their corporate office to file a complaint about the way we were treated. I wouldn’t recommend Napleton Hyundai STL to anyone looking for a vehicle. The one star rating is only because we have to leave something.

No cars on lot. Took forever to get assigned a salesman and then he knew less about the car than we did. Included items in warranty and service plan that are not included. We were ready to pay cash for a car—they seemed disinterested. Other dealers we talked to were not surprised with our experience.

They suck. A salesman bought the car before I got there & the lady I spoke with looked for the key for 20 mins. Then he walked up jingling the keys while her & I spoke. He tried to sell me the car cash. I was highly pissed off. The listing was still active. I didn't find it humorous at all.

When I arrived the next afternoon & checked in, the sales rep. disappeared for 20 minutes- when she came back, she told me this car was wrecked, 1 1/2 weeks ago, and was in the back lot waiting to be repaired. What a great waste of time!

car to their mechanic. Never got a chance to see the car. I greatly appreciate the
dealerships honesty upon my arrival but a courtesy call would have been even better. I

Terrible. Was in contact with one rep online about the 2 vehicles I was interested in and in
setting up appointment. But when I got there I was passed off to another young man who was
ill prepared at best, He had no idea of the cars I was supposed yo see and just took me out to
lot and pointed all the cars in my year range, We had to go back inside for several minutes to
try and find on the computer. I had to find them for him. He also kept me waiting several times
while he dealt with another customer. Would not let me drive vehicles on highway but then
tried get me to go inside to buy one on spot, I knew more about the vehicles' features than he
did. I think he was somehow related to the owner. Have no idea how this kid got the job.

Worse experience ! Beware . I tried buying a car on their lot. The sales person would never talk to me and always referred me back to the “Sales Manager” who only returned my call days later! I explained to him that I was buying the car and had my financing all lined up and that if he sent me the paper work we could get the deal rolling . Because I am in a different state he said he would have to send a notary to my house and that the costs would be $400 in Addison to the crazy $899 dealer fee and the $299 doc fee ( which is crazy )! I explained to him that I have bought many cars over the internet and never had to have a notary especially at that costs. He said he would see what he could do and get back to me . Well two days go by and still no call . So kept leaving him messages and finally when he didn’t return my call I called the dealer and asked to speak to someone else . When I spoke to that person they advised me that the car had been sold! Worst dealership ever!

Our sales person was great at first, but the sales manager was the pushy time.
We were already financed, but NH did not like that. Tried convincing us to let
them finance for us. Said no, our credit union will contact them the next day.
Next day, our credit union tried contacting NH from 9am-4pm and would email
me every time she left a message. Our Sales person called me, and was upset
that they haven't heard from them (which they did not try to contact). He said it
was becoming a hassle and wanted us to let them finance & i could just
refinance. They seemed to not understand the word no. Customer service is a
big deal for us, after that phone call, our credit union was finally able to reach
NH, but we told her not to proceed with the loan closing. Im glad we walked
away, we found a different vehicle elsewhere that we love, general manager is
great, took price down without us asking, & the credit union was able to
contact them with the first call. Thanks for that customer service NH!

They “confirmed” the car was there for me to test drive, set up an appointment the same day of the confirmation only to find out when I showed up that it was sold the day before. Waste of a trip, could have told me up front the car was no longer available.

Was sold a vehicle that had damaged rotors and needed new pads without being informed of their condition. They also tried to add a $900 "Napleton Experience" which I didn't want because I lived out of town.
Jamel, the salesperson was great! He was professional, friendly, and courteous. The sales manager was deceptive. I found the right vehicle that I wanted, but would never buy another vehicle from that dealership again.
If a half star was an option that would be the rating for
this dealership. Do not spend your money here! One star
for the original salesman because he was super nice
and very polite. The sales managers are argumentative,
rude & insulting. I was accused of "strong arming" their
salesman just because I inquired about getting the car
for lower then the asking price. They were only willing to
take off $76 & then said the internet price is actually not
the total cost of the car. They add an additional $3,424-
4k in fees to every car on their lot. They insulted me by
asking if I even knew the brand I was test driving after I
drove it. I was told they would work with me on pricing
only if I finance through them. When I told them that
was ridiculous they proceeded to tell me it is no secret
that they get kickbacks from the banks.
Called the dealership about a specific Infiniti they had online and on car gurus and they said they had
it in stock. I came in an hour later to be told that the car had been sold in the morning, meaning before
I called. I drove 45 minutes to this dealer to be told the car had been sold. The staff were pretty nice
though.

The experience was aggravating and not one of them did what they said they would do which was provide photos of the car.

Car was sold. Looked at others and dealer played games with the price. First couldn't tell me the price, showed car well over what I told them I wanted to pay .(50% more). Tried to sell at still 2k more than I wanted to spend. I left dissapointed and offended by the experience
Also "Napleton xP" extra is not something I use let alone want to pay 1k for.

I had sent an email about the listed car late in the evening as soon as saw the
new listing. My email was verified almost immediately (this was a Sunday
evening!) letting me know that I would be contacted in the morning. I was by
text and email with contact information if I was still interested in the car. I
responded by email and text to specific individuals listed and finally called
the dealership expressing my continued interest and within the hour I had a
video on the car plus a personal phone call helping to set up an appointment.
I live close to 200 miles away. The dealership and personnel were awesome
especially the salesperson, sales mgr, VIP officer, and finance people. No
question was left unanswered, the negotiations for trading in my car were fair
and straightforward, and I had several follow up email and text contacts
checking on my overall satisfaction.
Bad experience.
I will never buy anything there. I called them in the morning and set the appointment for this specific car in the morning. When I came just before the noon, my name was displayed on the welcome customers screen. This is where the good experience ended.
When we came a Salesman asked me all the same questions and after 15 minutes waiting, we have been told that the car was sold the same morning. I was not informed and this what disappointed me. I ended up the same day buying a car at different dealership.
Very poor experience. Sales rep kept ignoring every request I had him for. Kept insisting I come in for a test drive even though I said I didn’t need to test drive it from the very beginning. He kept asking me the same questions over and over and never really did get around answering most of my questions so I finally gave up. I do not recommend this dealer
This is my first experience of buying a car without
actually going to the dealership and I must say that the
experience has been nothing short of amazing.
The handling of all the paperwork has gone very
smoothly. My new car is scheduled to be delivered to
me here in Omaha, NE next week.
Everyone at the dealership that I worked with was very
professional and courteous.

The dealership reached almost immediately. In fact they reached out several times. That’s a plus. Have not really communicated with dealership other than through email.
Really poor experience. The person who contacted me and scheduled my appointment turns out works in Florida. Showed
up for my "VIP" appointment and they had no idea we were coming. After waiting several minutes, was told the car was
sold. Then moments later was told it was still there. We looked at it and it was filthy inside. No where near ready to be sold.
Marker on the ceiling, dirt everywhere. Needless to say we left and won't be back.

Absolutely horrible at best. I selected option to watch for price drops. I had multiple phone calls, texts and emails on a daily basis. I waited for 3 weeks until price drop was in my "buy" range. I called the night before to ensure the truck was available and was assured it was. Called the next morning as it was a 90 minute drive to ensure it was available. I was told yes and it would be detailed and ready to drive and buy. Once I arrived and walked in I had at least 4 salesman swarm around me and I told them I only wanted to deal with Jonathan Straitus as I had spoken to him over the last 3 weeks. Was told he's in Florida Call center to also include a VIP scheduler named Jackie. Both implied they were at Napleton in Hazelwood. I was also told the truck was sold yesterday. They flat out lied then wanted me to look at another truck. Classic bait and switch. I drove 90 minutes for that specific truck. Never ever trust or buy from this dealer.
Inquired about a Hyundai set up appointment to come test drive they said they would have car ready for me when I got there on our agreed time of 11am on Wed. I was going to show the car to my friend on line on the Tuesday before and it said this car was no longer available to view, So confused I contacted them and I have all the text messages between us they told me it was no longer available then they told me yes it was available and it would be ready for me to come the next day then I get another text saying no they’re sorry it wasn’t available very disappointed I was really looking forward to getting this car

Don't trust anything they advertise on line or in person. I looked at a car and was ready to buy, then they gave me 4 different reasons why it was a $4,000 difference. 3 days later the car was still listed at $2 less. Car buying does not have to get this awful.
I think the positive reviews on here are fake because all the negative reviews say very similar things.

Arrived at time that I had agreed upon for appointment to find out the car was not ready for me to view. They had me down for 2 1/2 hours earlier despite checking in with the dealer to confirm. Car did not start so needed to be jumped. Tires were low and car almost out of gas for test drive. Then tried to increase the price $2000 over listing online. After they agreed to honor car guru price, they insisted I purchase a mandatory service plan for $1600. When I said not interested they wouldn’t back off the service Plan so I left. Felt like a bait and switch not once, but twice.

I set up an appointment to test drive a car and sat around for a while, noticed a whole bunch of other people just sitting around. Needless to say I left before I had the chance to test drive the car.

not good, did not see the vehicle i inquired about, until my second visit (it was not as
described on the website). the second visit happened because though I let the
salesman know what I was looking to purchase and the price range, he was unable to
find a vehicle. however while looking on your website, i found a vehicle that checked
all the boxes, that I gave to my salesman. I called the dealership, they apologized
and arranged a second appointment. And though the second salesperson was
extremely helpful and kind and I did like the vehicle I came to see, I could not get past
the bad taste of my first visit. I purchased elsewhere.

Napleton Hyundai did an excellent job with my purchase. I worked with Kacy Cho @ the dealership and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with getting me the car I flew out for. I would reccomend Napleton Hyundai to anyone who wants a car at a great price. When you go in ask for Kacy, he is at the top of the list of hardworking salesmen.
Dealer responded quickly and very, very, often. There was no chance I would forget my appointment! Car was ready to go and the staff was very accommodating. Very friendly from the salesman, sales manager, customer service, and finance. The only reason for four stars was after receiving multiple, multiple reminder messages for who I would ask for at my initial meeting, that person was not there that day for the meeting. It gave a bit of a unorganized vibe. They recovered well and took car of me all the way through the sale and I am very happy with my purchase.

My husband and I found a car on Carguru.com that was located at the Ed Napleton Hyundia Hazelwood MO. location. The vehicle was advertised as Certified Preowned. The car was listed for $17,800.00. On 12/29/18, my husband and I test drove the vehicle and liked it. We offered to pay the price listed, a $199.00 documentary fee and any and all applicable taxes and licensing fees. Then the dealership would not accept our offer unless we agreed to pay a fee to have the vehicle Certified Preowned for $1,400.00 or a protection package for $899.00. The dealership eventually did remove the precertification package and reduced the cost of the service package to $400, but we did not need it. The dealership then refused our offer. We left the dealership. Two days later the car was listed of $18,500.00.

Bought the car, love it.Not happy with dealer sales force. They never informed us that they only had one key for the car until my wife was ready to leave with it. I told her i would go in and get the other key & see her at home.I was then passed around from one sales mgr to the other and told that it is a used car and a lot of them do not have both keys. (a 2018 with 12000 miles) i f they had made me aware of the problem i am sure we could have settled it. As is. I feel like they deliberately withheld info which keeps my from considering them for any futre purchase.

Terrible experience. Felt like a bait and switch operation. Untrustable. We made an appointment mid-afternoon to see a car
at 6pm. When we arrived at 6pm, we were told the car was sold 20 minutes prior. Another associate said it was sold two
hours ago. Another person claimed the system does not update for 4 to 6 hours so they did not know we were coming. A
parade of sport-coated men were sent out to speak with us apparently to try to convince us to shop for a different car. We
were asked if we were going to need financing - as if that mattered (we have excellent credit BTW). The new car sales
manager actually asked what we thought they should have done since it is company policy to sell a car on a first come, first
served basis. Easy answer, tell the prospective buyer the car is theirs if the 6pm appointment falls through. Opposite
behavior from having a customer focus.

Tried to get me to buy a new car instead of the used one I wanted, charged $500 more than I was quoted by their online salesman.
Too many texts and phone calls. Very pushy about "when can you come in today?" I'll get there when I get there. The calls and texts and such just push me away from dealers like this. The car I was interested in sold before I could get in to look at it, so then I started getting texts and calls about "coming in to help us reach our sales goal for the month." No thanks.

The worst! Forrest the manager mind you, set up an appointment for me to purchase the vehicle, I get there and they sold it! Never bothered to contact me, I left work early to go there. Horrible! Buyer beware, very, very unprofessional!!!!!
Including the initial CarGurus inquiry I contacted Napleton 5 times and never received a personalized answer to my questions. They send form emails inviting me to stop by the dealership for great customer service but when you live over 800 miles away, that won't happen until they answer specific questions. In my opinion, these people have a lot to learn before trying to conduct business long distance over the Internet.

We did schedule an appointment to test drive this vehicle. We did not like how the seats were, so found a Honda Civic that suited us better. All was find until we left the dealership and found out they overcharged us $500. After several attempts to speak with someone to get our money refunded, we are extremely frustrated. Todd in finance failed to get back to me after saying he would and I sent emails to both the GM and Sales Mgr. Neither have responded and we are still without our $500 overcharge. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership as it appears once they get their money, they are no longer interested in providing ANY customer service. Not a satisfied customer.

All sales people were helpful and professional. Forrest responded to my
inquiry promptly. Billy helped me locate the dealership when my phone GPS
sent me 20 miles out of my way. He also stayed late and waited for me to
arrive. The car was clean and ready for my test drive. The sales process was
smoothly and professionally handled by both Billy and his manager Jimmy.
My overall experience was excellent and even fun. I would recommend

Good dealership. The vehicle listed a backing camera as an option, however when we arrived there was no backing camera on the vehicle. I should have looked at the list of options from the manufacturer to know for sure, so partly my fault. Financing guy was a little pushy. He tried really hard and was kind of rude about selling the add on. I know that is part of the whole song and dance, but I was starting to get a little aggravated. I just wanted to sign and get out. Only so many times you can decline an offer. Plus why do I have to explain why I don't want the offer? Because its only $3500 over the course of the loan, I don't think so. I just want the car as is.
