First they did not discount their car even $1. Next they did not give us a fair trade in value for our car. Last they wanted to charge us $695 reconditioning fee for their car! Most horrid experience I’ve ever had trying to buy a car. Did not know whether to cry or laugh about the whole experience.

Just a few issues in financing that were not resolved to my full benefit but overall I think this dealer deserves a three and is high for all the finance inconveniences. After reviewing all the paper work and being told the monthly payment the finance manager said that there was an issues with the numbers that the system did not process his request correctly and do to this the payment was $40.00 more of what we had agreed on. I was about to leave but the threw a couple of more discounts but to get the payment I want it I had to put $1,000 extra. This purposely or not was an issue that people should be aware and alert when they come to Chevy Chase Acura.

Visited dealer showroom 4/18/21. Salesman Roberto Barreto, appeared fairly new he was nice. Harry H, his supervisor and Finance manager, who upon initial arrival appeared decent enough. Ultimately, he made promises he couldn't keep regarding financing, then tried to steer me to his chosen creditor, Santander (I can put you in a later model vehicle for more money). I did not accept suggestion. I offered cash, he refused & said not interested. Before leaving dealership he indicated he needed more documentation. Over the next 12 hours I provided all documentation he requested. He called back once the next day stating he got the documents and he would get back with me. About 3 days later in an email he stated that he could not get approval for purchase of vehicle because of credit. By then I believe the car was sold. About a week later I was approved at another dealership for same model vehicle. It appears Harry H, was not interested in getting job done if it required a little work

Dealer contacted me in a timely manner. Communication has been pretty good unless you don't like their deal they offer and you counter offer back. Haven't come to an agreement on a deal as of yet. They lowballed their online trade-in value on my vehicle and of course want the full price and now even raised the selling price on their vehicle from when we first started. They don't really seem to want to negotiate very much unless it's on their terms. . Asked me to drive around 300 miles to get a 3rd party appraisal done for them on my trade-in. Would give them a higher rating if they weren't lowballing their trade-in value for my vehicle at $3-5 thousand dollars under fair trade value based on KBB values.

Purchased the car from this dealer. All went smoothly. Car looked even better in person than in the pics. Sales person, Moe, was very knowledgeable and polite. He contacted me within an hour of my expressing interest in the car, and followed up appropriately without being pushy. All the staff I interacted with were great. Highly recommended.

Nothing like a pretty bad experience to give you context for a really good one. I had just dealt with another used car dealership that was pretty sleezy. This experience was the exact opposite. They were super transparent about the pricing/process, had a reasonable dealer fee, and offer great services. Overall it was a really good experience.

Vehicle was already under contract, but DID receive several contact memos from dealer about alternatives or help.

It started off slow but that was due to miscommunication during these trying times. Once they coordinated their internal miscommunication it was like working with a well oil machine. I made the deal with this group and we are finalizing all the paper work. If I can will purchase another car from them in the future.

Terrible experience, sales guy was the worst! He never called me back. Communicated by text and told me he was with customers. Told me the car was available then he stopped responding to my text. 48 hours went by and then he texts me back to tell me the car sold! Not the experience you want.

Very timely replies. Communicated via email as requested. Provided complete pricing without any games. I am still looking but would not hesitate to recommend.

They did not give me everything that was mine The vehicle had missing the second key and they did not try and do anything for me The cleaning crew all should be fired Wax all over the plastic parts of my car. They do not know how to detail or wash a vehicle I did not get my coupon booklet and tried asking the rep Peter that was suppose to assists me and started helping other people even though I HAD an APPOINTMENT at 12 he still left and helped other customers when other guys just standing around we waited way too long being that we had an appointment. There is a paper they asked me to sign free car washes which I would not if I was a block away cause I would still have wax all over my car not rubbed in or rubbed off plastic. I don't wash vehicles for a living but I know that much.You do not put wax over the plastic grills. So this paper I signed I was suppose to get coupon book for oil changes discount up in PA where I LIVE also never got the inspection papers

I had an outstanding experience at Chevy Chase Acura. The sales representative was patient and made sure that I knew everything about the vehicle before I purchased it. I also had a great experience with Ms. Aida Duncan, the financial manager. She made sure that I knew everything that I was getting into financially, secured a affordable monthly car payment, and ensured that I had the proper level of extended warranty. If I had to buy a vehicle again, I would definitely come back again. I also want to thank the previous owner for all of the upgrades on the vehicle!

Great dealership. Has a lot of CPOs in great condition. In the end, I was in search for a specific color that this dealership didn’t have but I believe they were trying their very best to locate.

Dealer responded quickly. I scheduled an appt for a test drive for the same day. The dealer was considerate enough to call to alert me that car sold. He saved me the 40 mike drive. He did not take advantage of my interest to try to sell me another car.

Overall greate experience

They were willing to negotiate within reason, and gave me a decent deal. Not pushy. Good experience overall. Just hoping they'll treat me the same when I go back for the free oil changes and carwashes they promised.

Rude sales consultant. Very unprofessional email due to me stating that NADA showed Clean retail for the car at $19,535 vs their asking price of $24,981. Due to this type of communique, I won’t consider this dealership any longer or in the future. If they employ rude sales people I have no need to buy from such a dealership. Rod

Well the car wasnt what i thought it was, it was nore scratched and when you turn the key to the egine you can tell the motor isnt healthy. Wasnt pleased at all. The car saleman was a pretty good guy tried to get me a deal on another car but t didnt happen.

David's the worst sales person ever. He told me that the vehicle was available st 4 pm, and told me to come and test drive it. But Infirmed me that the car was sold when I got there st 5;30 pm the same afternoon after traveling 45 min. To see the car.

Although I didn't purchase this car. Everyone there was very helpful and took the time to explain everything to me.

Contacted by sales rep after leaving message on car guru. Was told , one owner , beautiful inside and out. Drove over an hour the next day to see it and sales manager told me the vehicle was in poor condition and was going to auction. Waste a time.

A great dealers

The ONLY thing that I was dissapointed in was the color of the vehicle. It looked grey in the photos on the site and came up when I searched for grey cars. But when I arrived to pick up the car, it was light blue! It's still a beautiful car and the staff at the dealership was very professional and friendly. Overall, a very nice experience.

I would never buy a car there. The salesperson (Niko) was not forthright and out right lied about information I provided. Very disappointing experience.

I've never had an experience like this at any other dealer. Service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make the process as smooth and efficient as possible. Not impressed however I must say the sales manager at Acura, Ralph...is awesome. Was very nice, patient and approachable. It was do to Ralph's kind manner and his accurate assessment of the situation that helped to convince me to close the deal. The car I was buying I really wanted, so there was no need to "sell" me on it. However, it was the sales consultant, Peter, that was lack-luster....not friendly at ALL! Very stoic and he acted as if we (myself, my husband and our child) were annoying him. He showed very little patience when working with us which I believe Ralph sensed...and he came right over and saved the day. I was totally prepared to walk out the door because Peter sounded/looked as if he was disinterested in whether I purchased the vehicle. Aside from working with Peter, I was very pleased with my car and the terms that were reached. If everyone at the dealership had Ralph's demeanor I would absolutely recommend this place.
