The person I spoke with informed me the transmission had been replaced so I made plans to pick up a few days later. The day I was scheduled to drive 4 hours to get it he said they hadn't completed it yet. Then someone in their system sent me some rather vulgar messages. I will never do business with this dealer. I wish I could give zero stars.

No good financing! Monthly is too high they wanted me to pay $790 a month with a $7000 down payment. I have another $50,000 vehicle and pay less a month with no money down.

They are about what you’d expect from a typical dealer. Pushy tactics, some lies, sneaking in fees/extras and so on. They did however workout a good deal for me in the end. If you must work with them you need your guard high up.

similar units. Chapman came back high. Once I said no thanks and
moved on, co. kept contacting me trying to get my attention. Poor
business sales model. I appreciate those dealers that give their best
quote out the chute. Trucks are tools on a farm. Payments and
sentiment don’t apply.

We could not put the financial numbers together on an F150, but they introduced me to the Ford Ranger which tuned out to be more of what I actually needed. I purchased one on 10/29/19. Sales and management team worked very closely to ensure I got the best deal with the right vehicle and the proper financing to make my quest a reality.

Overall treated very well. Shawn was an excellent salesman. But I had issues with out-of-state sales tax and unwanted add-ons compared with quotes on vehicles from other dealers the Phoenix valley and value offered for my trade in before my offer was accepted. Bottom line, I am very pleased with the vehicle purchased and highly recommend Shawn if you shop here.

Then calls me to see another Jeep Wrangler, I go in and wait for an hour and a half for them to tell me they don’t have the Wrangler there and that it hasn’t been inspected yet so I wasn’t able to view. Waste of my time.

I contacted the dealership with a couple of questions about a truck I was interested in
buying. The questions were never answered. I only received emails pressing me to come
into the dealership. None of their emailed responses even referenced the vehicle I asked
about. To this day I do not know whether the truck is on their lot much less the answers to
my questions. I probably would not contact them again. They had a well qualified buyer
ready to make a purchase and were of no help.

Pretty interesting that I was the first person to bring it to their attention that
they had a listing for a 2017 Ford Mustang at $42k - that is on their
company website at $67k. They offered to sell at $55k - which the car is
worth with all of it's upgrades....but those upgrades are on their listing at
the $42k rate on CG. Weird.
Weirder - the sales person didn't try to interest me in another vehicle when
I told him I was going to look at a car at a competitor - and I obviously was
ok looking at a $42k car listed.
Bait & Switch & Busted? Or just too lazy to do the job they were hired for?
So much wrong with this dealership if they don't recognize opportunity to
earn a customer. And their staff doesn't stay on top of their listings to make
sure they are correct.
And they blamed CarGurus for the "error".

I made initial contact w/Jeremy to set appt. Told me he'd have my vehicle pulled up and ready for me. WHAT A JOKE! I arrived on time, only to be told the vehicle had been sold pretty much as I was in route from Peoria mind you - which I had previouly made clear so I wasnt wasting my time. I'd give a 0-Star rating if I could. VERY SHADY! Dont give them your hard-earned money!!

It was a typical car dealer experience. James was very nice but it was the whole deal of, “Let me check the inventory,” “There’s my GM. I know he’ll want to meet you.” Obnoxious wheeler dealer game that’s a total turn-off. I have them a 4-star rating was because of James. He was great.

My experience was poor. I made an appointment to go and see the car, and when I got there I was transferred to a different person not once but twice. Then to add insult to injury, they could not locate the vehicle. We found it in the shop, up on the rack, being worked on. I would not shop for another vehicle there based on my experience.

When I first inquired about this vehicle I spoke to a gentleman and his supervisor who were very honest about the condition of the truck. He was EXTREMELY helpful and understanding that I had to make a 2 hour drive to come see the truck. Unfortunately the next day when my husband and I drove up he had called in sick and his colleague took over. His colleague had not reviewed anything about the truck even though he had been notified we were coming. This left a lot of unanswered questions for us that luckily we had already done our research on. The finances lady is extremely good at her job! She was very quick and super polite. Please make sure you ask as many questions as you can throughout the whole process. We forgot a few and ended up paying drastically more than we had agreed upon but it is our fault for not fully reading the fine print as we trusted the finance lady and she somewhat rusher us through the process. Take your time and remember to read the fine print.

These people were the most helpful I have encountered while looking for a vehicle. I would recommend Chapman Ford to any one looking for a car. They were so supportive, kind and not pushy. If I ever need anything else like this, I am going to them first. I actually made an appointment to see this caravan, they set me up the same day I called. I ended up purchasing this vehicle. It was a fantastic experience!

They were more than accommodating to my requests. Their post for the car that I went to look at said it had a black interior when I got there to look at the car(which was already parked up front for me) it was a light gray with black trim. Even though the price was right for the car I wanted I passed on the deal because I didn't like the interior color combo. The sales staff were helpful and pleasant. The dealership is brand new so everything was laid out nicely for the customer. They don't rush you back to some small room and lock you in . I sat at a small table in a large open space at the front of the store. I was never pressured. It was an overall pleasant experience to which I'll be happy to return to

rate which is higher than the tax rate in Kansas after I told them several times

They're really obnoxious and love to insult customers. Not only did I get a semi-obnoxious email from the sales guy, but this was followed up by a completely nasty phone call by the Sales Manager, who felt it necessary to call me on a Saturday morning to politely insult me, all because the dealership felt my cash offer on the corvette was too low. The manager proceeded to laugh at me twice on the phone, and then further classified me as "...one of those people that attempt to steal their cars". I didn't realize writing a bank check for over $72k was considered grand theft in the state of Arizona. Bottom line.... if you're looking for courtesy and professionalism, don't bother going here.

I sent an email request to find out if vehicle was still available. Got a response asap and set up an appointment to see vehicle. When I went to see the vehicle, it was nasty. It had not been vacuumed and had pet hair all over. It also had bad tires. If they knew I was coming over to see the vehicle, the least they could of done was have it cleaned. The only reason I give them two stars and not zero is that the salesperson I dealt with was friendly. They will not be getting my business.

THEY were not open about ACTUAL cost & FINE print, dealer price was was 8991 ended up paying ($9995 less trade of 500 (9495 when i was told i would get 700for trade by the salesman TOOK MY PLATES OFF MY CAR EVEN BEFORE WE CLOSED DEAL, I FELT TRAPPED, the recondition charge was added of $1228 in fine print and forced there theft registration$ 228 told it was added in anyway even IF I declined Financing was not even confirmed BUT I was told I would have to accept what ever they find who approves me !! because my credit was not so good even though the said i would get 4-5 % !! ended up over 6% CAR dealers are biggest scammers next to politicians Happy with the CAR but disgusted with how its done NOW there should be laws to stop the BAIT and switch tactics, shifty dishonest sales tactics!!!

Chapman Ford is clearly not the worst in the business, but there are practices that are worthy of criticism. The cars listed on CarGurus as being there were not there when I arrived. A salesman tried to pressure me into completing and signing an application for credit when I made it clear I was not applying for credit. It took 22 days to receive my title and permanent license plate.

Car was advertised on your website as having GPS. When I arrived at dealer the car had NO GPS. Dealership was under renovation construction. Very disorganized. Hard to find customer parking. Financial department had no knowledge of how to do out of state regisration.
