This was the most straightforward experience because no weird stuff was added to the price when discussing the price out of the door and they offered 3 moths and 3k mile of maintenance on the car even thou the car had high mileage. John was great to speak to.

Advertised the car but they don’t have car

Baldwin brothers were great, from the greeting moment to the very end of my visit to their shop. They accommodated me and let me test drive the car I was interested in no time, they also calculated the whole amount of money I would have to pay in order to own the car, with all taxes and fees included. They’ve been customer oriented, well mannered and courteous people. I didn’t end up buying, as I wanted to check more options available out there, but I felt like good business people deserve good reviews.

I spoke with the dealer about this vehicle and mentioned that it was overpriced according to the app and did he have any wiggle room on the price. He replied no so I went with someone else

This dealer was fantastic. Sent me pics and link to their website. Drove out to see the truck the next morning. Clean well stocked lot. Newly remodeled showroom office. I was replacing a vehicle and waiting on the insurance money. Dealer was very accommodating on price . I was able to put a deposit down to hold the truck. Very professional, all paperwork handled as it should be. Would definitely go there again to buy a vehicle.

This place is a joke. Do not do business with them. I went through a whole process of buying a 2004 Ford F-150. He took all my information over the phone. Filed a loan application, the whole way to pick up the truck today. Bank called me and made the deal and approved me. The owners son called me AFTER getting me approved and said that the truck was promised to a family friend. He pretty much hassled me and sold me this truck then turned around and took it away. Claims that is the way business works, someone came with cash and wants to check it out Saturday. Well today is Thursday, everything was done ready to buy and take home. If it was promised to someone else then take it off the 14 websites it is advertised on. Don't waste my time over the phone, pull a loan out for me, and ding my credit to say sorry I promised it to someone else. I will never ever shop with this dealership. Be more organized. You negatively effecting me because of your mess up. You could have told me that the truck was promised or not for sale one of the 15 times we talked on the phone or when you spoke to the bank to finance me. Your business is nothing but borderline a joke with a sellers license, some cars on a sheet of concrete, and a working phone and website. The location I'm talking about is in Escondido. But hey, the owner and son owns all of them. They will do the same at all their dealerships. Nice work guys!

They ignored me when I went to the dealership. They would not get off their phones to help me....Then the manager I believe came out of his office to ask what I wanted and was very Curt and unresponsive, so I assumed they would not be interested in letting me test drive a car and I decided to leave.

Don't bother with Baldwin auto sales or the owners son/salesman Don. I drove a total of 300 miles the day before Thanksgiving in Los Angeles traffic to have the owners son (Don) insult my 35 years of experience of working & teaching in the automotive repair field. It took us 4 1/2 hours to get there. The Buick Enclave I test drove had a pretty healthy oil leak, but according to the self proclaimed car guru Don himself, he said, "if it doesn't leave drops on the floor...it can't be that bad." I had told Don on several phone calls what I do for a living, and how I'm a licensed ASE Master Mechanic along w/many many years of experience & a teaching credential. I told him the whole right side & middle of the frame & under carriage was hosed down with oil. So then he tells me, "well, it does have 118,000 miles on it". I told him I have a 2006 Chevy Tahoe w/150,000 miles on it (which by the way I also found on CarGurus as well) at home that's bone clean underneath & it's never even had the valve cover gaskets replaced on it. I know, because I got all the service records on it when I purchased it from the GM dealer in Idaho. But, Don, instead of being concerned or offering to fix the SUV before sluffing it off on me....wanted to go inside & talk numbers. Forget this so called "family business". Run as far as you can. Plus, the bad Oman I saw was when a guy who had just bought a car THE SAME DAY came back with a check engine light on. Don had a scan tool plugged into it trying to get the fault codes on it. What I didn't tell Don is that I've had a 7000 sq ft repair facility in Chatsworth since 1995 & I had cash with me to buy this thing. But, thanks to his rude behavior & his cavalier attitude,....I packed the wife & kids right back into my car & got the heck out of that place. Plus. After I got home, I looked him up on Yelp. And sure enough!!!....TERRIBLE REVIEWS!!! Big surprise huh? =)) People like this guy should not be in the business of selling used cars because he gives our industry a bad name. I would not do business with this car lot no matter how nice the deal may seem. Stay away!!! Update: I did a little bit of research on Buick Enclaves & the 3.6L V-6. Turns out they have a big problem with the front timing cover gaskets leaking as early as 30K miles. Plus they have camshaft end play problems as well as timing chain stretch issues. I can guarantee that the oil leak on this Buick Enclave is from the front timing cover & requires having the engine removed since it's a transverse setup and there is no room to pull the timing cover off the front passenger side. A VERY expensive fix if you include the timing chains replaced.

A courteous, straightforward e-mail reply with necessary contact information from this dealer. I was pleased with the response. I have not followed through to view the vehicle yet as I am undecided . . . . internal argument . . . . !!

Bad experience paid 9500 plus a 2 yr extended warranty. And as soon as i get home check engine light is on and tire sensor light comes on and the reverse on jeep liberty shakes and ask for a carfax and didnt get one.

Meant to push "fair ". the only contact I had with them was an email stating they didn't have the car.

Zero stars--salesman took 5 days to get back to me about a great car ad, said he thought it had been sold. I asked if it was in fact sold, he said "I don't know". I asked him to check, 20 minutes later it was for sale but being serviced at the moment. When will it be back? What is it being serviced for? "I don't know". A week later, no news, no answers. Yeah, he'll call me when it gets back--when will that be? "I don't know". Don didn't seem to want to sell me a car, sight unseen, for the listed price. Boo on Baldwin for keeping me hanging for a week and not having any answers to the simplest inquiries.

This dealership deserves negative stars for their bad customer service, I felt stereotyped from the moment I stepped onto the dealership lot. I asked to test drive a vehicle and was imediately denied, the weird salesman was rude, blunt and asked to run my credit information before I can checkout the vehicle. I ended up leaving and purchasing a vehicle somewhere else.

Awful!! Below one star actually. Dealer was rude, pushy, defensive and aggressive with his words. Car was dirty and engine made a bad noise that he claimed was "normal" for all 4 cylinder SUVs. Um, no. NOT normal. He contradicted every point brought up, saying it was in stellar condition and treated myself and my sister-in-law as though we were idiots just cause we were females. Only when we were walking away did he start to admit that it could use a little cleaning and airbrushing out scratches and marks. No thanks. Do not go here!!
