It was great dealing with Rob and Brian. Very friendly and professional.
Advertises popular cars he doesn't have at fantastic prices to her people into his lot, then tells you the car was sold between the time you confirm and the time you arrive. Looking at his other reviews he has been doing this for years.
Oh, and the car he said was sold a couple weeks ago is still up as available...has been since March...

Yes we advertise fantastic deals on our vehicles, and they sell quickly because of it. And yes we have been selling our inventory at great prices for years. Weve sold over 9000 vehicles, with an average 4.5 star rating, we think thats pretty good. You may not agree, but thats just your opinion.
Showed up to test drive a truck that had been on their lot for 130 days. Body was is great shape - that’s where it ended. They let me test drive a truck with bad breaks- brake pedal that went to the floor, bad wheel bearings, exhaust that had a modification that causes poor back pressure resulting in the gas pedal on the floor and barely accelerated, and bad linkage with a TON of oversteer. Truck should never have been allowed out on a test drive. Can’t believe they never serviced it in the 130 days it was on the lot.

Josh, thanks for the feedback. After your visit we did re evaluate the condition of this truck and made a couple minor repairs. The truck was then sold the next day and the person who bought it was extremely happy.
They sold the truck before I got there and didn’t let
me know when I spoke to them the day before to
confirm the appointment. Then after traveling
almost two hours, I get there and they try to upsell
me a +6k truck, when I left the manager called me
and reassured me that he was sorry and it never
happens and he would rectify the situation by
finding me something similar, NEVER heard back
from him and sent an inquiry on if he was still
looking for me. Terrible Experience and I don’t
recommend using this dealer at all! BUYER
BEWARE!! Then tried to embellish issues with my
credit when I never had them pull anything for my
credit just did an inquiry about the truck & I had the
money to put down for the truck over what ANY
bank would require (which is why I got the truck I
Wanted, not just “one in my budget”). I’ve worked in
the automotive industry for many years and just
want people to be smart about the dealership
they’re purchasing from, DO YOUR RESEARCH!

Keva, Yes you did some to see a truck that we had in stock, however you failed to mention that your application for credit was declined by every bank we have therefor there was nothing we could do to help. Please dont exaggerate your experience to make us look bad when you know exactly what happened.
Through CarGurus I setup an appointment that was
confirmed with Auto factory. I was going to the
appointment and found out both vehicles were sold
the day prior which is understandable, but the
dealership never contacted me to tell me. 3 days
later they contacted me saying âa new truck just hit
the lot similar to what I looked at and wondered if
Iâd be interestedâ it was the EXACT same truck they
told me sold, but they upped the price by 1000$.
Completely insane and deceptive practices. Will not
go there or recommend them to anyone.
EDIT - the companyâs reply is the only false
information. Too bad you canât post emails or
photos because I have emails confirming the
appointment, call logs of them reaching out to me
first and text messages from a âRobertâ confirming
the truck which âsoldâ had been offered for resale.
All the company needed to do was have a properly
updated inventory and be transparent. I stand by
my review.

Will never ever go near there again or refer them to anyone I know! Very sleazy ! Showed for 1pm appt after speaking with Dio. The vehicle I was viewing turned out the
leather drivers seat totaled. Unusable! Split completely across as if it was opened up looking for something in the seat. Needed to be replaced which they would not do. The
rear bucket seat was cracked and in really bad shape. My beef is that they did not disclose this info and showed pictures cleverly avoiding showing the extensive damages.
A total waste of my time without customer appreciation Sleazy at the least!

I read the reviews and from what i see the people that probably had bad experiences is more than likely a bunch of idiot
Every dealer has a bottom price or they can’t survive
So I purchased a car today from Derek very professionally and to the point
Didn’t take more than and a hour i knew what i wanted and we agreed on a price an purchased a vehicle 5 stars for them

This is a complete lie. We list all of our pricing both on cargurus and our website. What this customer fails to tell you is that he repeatedly was requesting our "best price" which would require a discount from our listed price. We told him several time we are a one-price no haggle dealership and that the car he was interested in was listed as a "Great Deal". Maybe if he came to visit the dealership we could show him the value of buying one of our vehicles without reducing the price.

We do have a large inventory, over 150 cars and trucks which is far more than almost every used car dealership in our area. Just because the one vehicle that this person was coming to see had just sold does not mean that we are "scamming" people to get them "in the door". We sell several cars everyday to people who come to see them and have been in business for 17 years. We are not "scamming" anyone. This person is lying.
Received several phone calls, emails, and texts over a two day period. Responded after their 10th+ try of communicating with me. I told them the price was too high for the vehicle as it is above market value. They communicated back by saying “…the prices of the cars that we have are one of the best in the market and we don’t negotiate price.” Something doesn’t add up here.

This customer claims that something doesnt add up about our business, which is untrue and misleading to potential customers. We make it very clear to our customers that we are a one-price no haggle dealership and this customer was upset because they could not negotiate.
These guys are clowns, unprofessional and classless. I made numerous offers on a vehicle there and instead of simply responding with our price is firm, they just didn’t respond. Now the salesmen won’t return my calls even though I want buy the truck at full asking price.

We make it very clear to all our customers that we are a no haggle dealership with one price and it is non negotiable. Over 90% of our inventory is listed at a good deal or better on cargurus. This customer was upset at the fact that he could not negotiate when we told him upfront that was not possible. That does not make us "clowns" or "unprofessional" in fact it make us very professional to be up front about our pricing.

Drove over an hour to go see it. Car was overpriced, dirty in some areas, spare was rusted, and had alot of scratches/issues that weren’t visible by the pictures. When we asked Jay, the employee helping us, about the condition of the car and how long it had been on the lot he was extremely rude and dismissive of the questions. We left soon after, did not even test drive. Unfortunately would not recommend this dealership for their poor customer service.

Also, we had told you that it had just arrived a few days earlier and that it had not been through our reconditioning process. The vehicle was cleaned up and sold just a few days after your visit to one of our happy customers.

Allyn, you asked for more information about a car listed for sale on cargurus, All of that information is listed on our website, we sent you the link to that webpage, not sure how much easier we could make it for you.
Scheduled a time to come look at a vehicle. He said the vehicle was in stock and that I could
come in. I also was interested in 5 or 6 other vehicles that were listed just in case the first
didn't work out. When arrived, the salesman said he had happened to sell all of them today,
even though all the cars were listed for over 100 days. Showed me a similar vehicle that
reeked of smoke, had several cigarette burns in the seats and barely started up. There was
also an electrical issue with the rear light in the back which I was told the previous owner must
have installed a "strobe light". And you cannot test drive any vehicles without doing a hard
credit check first. I should have listened the reviews, these are shady and unfriendly people.

I ran into the same situation as others did where they tell you a vehicle is on the lot and ready for sale but when you show up the vehicle is "sold" and he tries to get you to buy a different vehicle. The dealer is not creditable and I would advise anyone seriously looking for a vehicle to go elsewhere.

Dealer was was welcoming and friendly. Answered all my questions and was very helpful. I just wished I didn’t waste a trip going there because when I got there I found out the car I wanted to se was already sold. He explained that it didn’t update in the system but I didn’t like that. He did tell that he would keep an eye out for what I was looking for and let me know if anything comes in. The experience was good but wasting my time going there for a that was already gone was

I set up an appointment and then when I got there for my scheduled time to look at the car, they told me it had been sold. There were only a couple guys working there and clearly they are unorganized. They offered to show me other similar cars but the bait and switch tactic just doesn’t work for me. Pretty unprofessional to advertise cars they don’t have. A week later and it’s still up on their website. Wouldn’t go back there after this experience.

The person I dealt with was very rude, didn’t even get greeted when we walked into the building before we sat down. Even when we did sat down, he would just continue to speak over me. Will not be recommending this dealership to anyone.

The sales person was rude and cocky. Then lied and told me I couldn’t test drive per the governors requirements, probably because he just didn’t want to deal with it. I then went to
another dealer and they were more than happy to let me test drive and I bought that car. The sales person at Auto Factory just made me want to leave.

Good people , however the vehicle was sold with tires in terrible condition. Be sure to check then double check with them to ensure your vehicle is ready to pass inspection. Aside from that , the staff is welcoming and friendly.

I wish I could give no stars. Emailed about a specific car. They responded when would you like to come see it. I told them 2 days from then as it was my only day off and we live More Than 2 Hours Away. They messaged me the next day, said that would be fine. I checked before we left the house, it was still there. We get there not only was it sold but all THREE of my backups. Then the guy has the nerve to try and make me feel like a jerk! “Well, that was a loaded 2019 with less than 9,000 miles on it! That was a great car!!”
Ya, I know. That’s why I wanted it!!
Now reading many other people say they used the bait and switch on them as well.
Save yourself the trouble and skip this place in your search for a car!

a specific car was still available that

was not there. Said it sold that
morning but the email I received was
after 3 pm. Tried to get us to look at

When you call them asking if a car you saw only is available they tell you it is just so you come to the dealer and they try to sell you other cars. when you get there, they tell you the car was sold a few hours ago, even though they told me 15 mins ago the car was still available. They have done that to me twice.

Today I had the unpleasant experience of going to Auto Factory looking for a specific Infiniti.
I called to schedule a same day test drive. I was told the car I wanted was available and that I
could come test drive in approximately an hour (I live an hour away, with traffic). Once I
arrived, I was told the vehicle was not there ... that it had been "recalled" and the mechanics
took it off the lot. Mind you, I had confirmed it was ready and available approximately an hour
and a half earlier.
I wasted time, gas and energy.
If I could leave them zero stars I would.
Don't make the same mistake I did. Go to a different dealer.

Best part is the price is set so that eliminates haggling. The office is nice and offers free coffee and water. Service is very good during the process. They lost a star on two things. The 2 hour wait for my car when they said it would be ready and the windshield was so dirty it was hard to see when the sun went down.

Talked to them once about the car and told him if we were still intrested we would contact them. Proceeded to call and text and leaveing voice mails everyday even after unsubscribing from the text. This is a sign of pushy sales to me. Dont give these guys your number.

They took forever to reply and when they did they basically told me no they wouldn’t work with me. I had two trades a wad of cash to put down but I was 1200 miles away. Wanted them to look at photos and give me a ball park on my trades but they refused. I have worked with many dealers and they all are accommodating to those who live outside the commuting distance. I wasn’t asking for a concrete number but rather a estimate so I know I wasn’t going to travel 1200 miles and have them offer me way under blue book for trades. In the end they basically said they sell locally only. They should put that in a disclaimer on there website so it avoids any confusion in the future. I don’t know anyone who will just drive 1200 miles without at least a ball park on what there trade is going to be through the dealership.
Although I did not end up buying at this time, Steve was very friendly with zero pressure
and respectful. They do send "touch-base" emails which are not too annoying. They have
some great deals on cars, they just need to do a little more detailing before marketing the
vehicles. I can see past all that but others may not. I will be checking their inventory often
as our immediate needs changed.

My experience was more satisfying than I could have hoped for! I was contacted by salesman Donny D within the same day as my inquiry with a gracious and most supportive attitude. Donny took excellent care of me and my new car on every level service. I highly recommend the Auto Factory when seeking a new used vehicle and stellar service. I love my new car and I am a very happy customer!

They lied to me over the phone told me vehicle was in “showroom” condition and also said vehicle had backup camera I drove from Nashua to Peabody the vehicle has several bad dents and scratches and no backup camera completely wasted my time I would never give them my money

The facility is nice... but some of the people are rude... they told me they don't negotiate on price because it was their Policy.... but their prices are very high and unrealistic. I was able to purchase the same vehicle with less miles and a year newer, more added options for over $1000 less than what they are offering... DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. My wife and I took the day off to go see this Car and it was the worst use of our vacation time.... they would even let me check it out Mechanically. I know the owner will reply to this as he has in the past, and although I like and typically support small businesses. Due to my experience there I would not support this business unless things change.

After a fallen tree totaled my car, I was in a crunch to find a new set of
wheels. We did some researching online, and found Auto Factory on Car
Gurus. Their awesome website, stellar inventory, and attractive prices
definitely stood out!
We made the trip up from Boston to the dealership in Peabody. Their space
is clean, modern, and their selection of inventory was unbeatable.
Nick and his team rolled the red carpet out for us, and spent a lot of time

What seemed to be a great deal fell flat on its face once I purchased the car. Dealership was to provide a jack which was missing and still 2 1/2 months later, no jack. And they said they would pay for chips in windshield to be repaired. They never paid, and when chips formed into cracks they said sorry, we are not paying for the new windshield. Lots of empty promises so beware of the attractive pricing. Steer clear of this operation, all smiles until you pull off the lot.

I had a set appointment to look a specific vehicle. I called ahead to confirm and let them know that I had done all research and was ready to purchase. I also said to call me if the car was sold. When I arrived they told me the car was no longer available and they attempted to sell me another car. I traveled over and hour and took time off work. In addition, after voicing my complaint all that was said to me was “I’m so sorry”. No call from sales manager or anyone else from senior management .

I stumbled onto Auto Factory at 156 Newbury St, Peabody, MA. dealership after
finding the vehicle that met my search criteria on Car Gurus & quite happy I did. Upon
visiting I immediately recognized an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. The lot was
lined with higher end vehicles such as Audis, Range Rovers, BMW's and a sweet
looking Jeep Rubicon. The team of folks that work there were exceptionally friendly
but not in a car dealership, stuffed shirt kind of way. Purchase of my 2015 BMW
couldn't have been smoother with Donald's help. I liked the car, I couldn't resist the
asking price, and Donald wrote me up..... done and done. I would definitely
recommend this dealership and would certainly visit again in the future.
