I wasn’t going to do a review because at first I didn’t care to write. However, after some days what I experienced has dawned on me and I came to see what others felt and sad to see I wasn’t the only one this place tried to play and lie to.
I had a 3pm appointment for a car listed for $19,000. At 1pm I called to see if I can come early to see the car and they said yes. I got there at 2:20pm after driving an hour and 30 mins only to be told the car will be in the shop for “ 30 mins for brakes and rotors”. Then they tried to show me a different car while I waited. Even tho I said I’m not interested , they still had the car come. This car was more expensive and wasn’t even the color I wanted. This car also had dents and damage along the trimming and had a CRACKED window. I asked when they got the car, I was told that same morning and if I wanted it I would have to wait for them to fix it. I then asked how long for my car and they didn’t know. Save your time, don’t come here at all, NEVER.

Annoying AI assistant hassles you when you inquire about anything. The price you see on here , isn’t the real price at all, not even close. I also live about an hour away, so didn’t want to waste my time and I knew what I wanted so just wanted to talk numbers and get a deal done where I was told you can only come in. I ended up buying the exact same car as this from a dealer in Connecticut, and they’re delivering it straight to my house. Don’t go here.
When I called, I confirmed the price when I got there. I was told the same price once I was ready to sit down and start the paperwork. I was told that the car was $8000 over the price I was quoted Amy has the audacity to tell me it’s still within the range of the value of the car. The car went from thirty one thousand nine hundred and ninety nine dollars to thirty nine thousand nine hundred and ninety nine dollars plus tax.

One of the worst experiences of my life in a
dealership. The sales person was totally untrained
and more like a street vendor. The car was absolutely
dirty and grimie. They were more interested in selling
financing than selling the car! I felt dirty and in danger
sitting in their so called show room. My mind was
telling me to cover my wallet and run as fast as I
could.
All in all it was an experience that I do not want to
ever repeat. I would tell everyone to stay away from
this dealership.
I
asked 4 times if this is the final price( 25 495$). I
was told yes! Just taxes and that's it.after
completing the paperwork and all the procedures,
they brought me a paper to sign where it was stated
$31,500 + their work $3,000 (oil change, etc., that's
what they said) and that's without taxes!!!!!! and so
the price of a car for $25,500 becomes $34,500!!
with taxes it will be $38,000!!!!I If you value
your time and your money, it is not recommended to
approach them

Dealer trying to say that price is after taxes but I
have the email confirming that it says before taxes
fees. Where the price difference from there posted
price and email price are completely different and
are about $5k difference.
They dont discuss prices over the phone. The
issue here is I dont live in NYC. Their sales
tactic is old, sketchy and weird. I have bigger
odds of buying a car in less than 5 minutes
over the phone than being at the dealership. I
guess they only want "yes" people in their
dealership to sale them for outrageous mark
ups.
Autolux was very quick to respond to my inquiry. I reached out with a few questions about the Tesla, and they got back to me the same
day with clear, helpful answers. Their responsiveness made the whole process feel smooth and professional.
Listing Accuracy:
The listing was completely accurate. The details about the car’s condition, features, and mileage matched exactly what I saw when I
arrived. It was clear that Autolux values transparency in how they represent their vehicles online.
On-site Experience:
When I visited the dealership, the car was clean, well-maintained, and ready for a test drive. I appreciated that they had everything
prepared ahead of time, which made the visit efficient and enjoyable.
Customer Service:
Matthew, the representative who helped me, was excellent. He was friendly, respectful, and patient—never pushy. He took the time to
answer my questions and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. His customer service really stood out.

I strongly advise against this dealership. My
experience was extremely disappointing across
multiple areas. Communication was poor: The
sales representative handed me a QR code to
complete all paperwork independently while he
used his phone instead of assisting. Customer
service was unprofessional and disengaged
throughout the process.
Regarding inventory, the vehicle I considered had
an expired inspection and showed no evidence
of recent maintenance, which is concerning for a
dealership advertising luxury vehicles. The on-
site experience reflected neglect.
Most alarmingly, the financing process included
approximately $6,000 in unexplained fees added
to a $12,000 vehicle. While taxes and legitimate
fees are expected, these excessive, undisclosed
charges were unacceptable.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend
this dealer and would actively discourage others
from doing business with them.
Waste of time, the price they have advertised the car for is total garbage. They only wanted to run my credit score at first without letting me know the OTD price. They don’t accept cash payments only financing. The car was parked in another lot surrounded by other cars so no test drive were available and I haven’t been able to check exterior.

After reaching out to the dealership the operator said they do not take telephone inquiries. What for sales to respond. Here is the "DECEITFUL" business practice that tells you they cannot be
trusted. After speaking to the salesman, he said I want to be clear the price listed is after a 20% deposit. I said you are advertising a price with no mention of after 20% down. He stated at their
website only is the correct price. Then put me on hold hoping I would drop off......... Once he came back, I called him out as their site had the same price as CarGurus. This isn't even bait and
switch but pure miss leading advertising..........I would never do business with AutoLux
I came here in mind of another car but it sold unfortunately when I got there. Matthew understood my situation and was patient with me
showed me every car they have in my price range and we was able to make it work with something even better. I highly recommend
everyone to come and ask for Matthew he's super knowledgeable and patient and he made my experience something I will never forget.

Stay far away for this dealership!!!! They are the worst in NJ. I had a text message on a price of a used car on their lot from one
of their salesman that clearly stated the vehicles price and they were fully transparent and no hidden fees. Boy, was I scammed.
They added $4,000 to that price when I showed up and refused to honor the price I had in our text messages. They are
scammers. I warned you and just looking out for my fellow car shoppers. Shop elsewhere.
I recently purchased a pre-owned Honda Accord from AutoLux, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish! Matthew, my salesman,
was awesome, he was knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole process stress-free. The management and finance team were also
great, working with me to tailor a deal that fit perfectly around my needs. They really went above and beyond to make sure I left satisfied.

Drove far to come and check out the car. When coming to an agreement for price, They added 10,000 more for the price with the excuse they added a package they install to all their cars which is not posted in advertisements plus they wanted 20% down for the car. Everything is a scam. I wouldn’t recommend no one to that place. Also their customer service was very unprofessional.
I do not recommend this place to buy a car. I spent the day off, they don't have the car you want at that price, I think that's how they lure customers. When I arrived, they said to wait, but after 20 minutes, they said the car was in another place, then went there with them and it wasn't there either, they said it was under repair and started offering other cars. They're not telling the truth. Don't waste your time.
Was planning on flying to NY from MN to purchase a 2020 BMW 540i for $29,939 as listed on Car Gurus. They wouldn’t give me a total so I could come in with a check, they won’t accept wire transfers, and would not hold the vehicle for me, not even for a fee. I asked about rates if I could possibly finance through them and the girl on the phone said she couldn’t give me a rate and I would just need to come in. Not very helpful, and lacking in the customer service department. I decided it seemed off and passed on the trip. Would not recommend doing business with this place, and read the other reviews. I would’ve been irate had I flown in and they jacked the price up $10,000, or they had sold it before I got to the dealer. Shady.
Very rude! After reading all the horrible reviews I still decided to give them a call. The young lady I spoke with was very rude stating I could not directly speak to a sales person, also letting me know that I would have to travel there to NY just to get the info to give my credit union to even being the process basically stating they don’t sell to out of towners. Pretty on brand with what I had previously read about them! Steer clear of this dealer.

Janine was the sales person who took me from test drive to driving home, in my 2021 X3 only 30k miles and super clean. I’d certainly recommend Janine as a sale person she is easy going, professional and very knowledgeable in addition i can tell she wants her clients to win with a quality luxury vechile. It was nice to also not be in a car lot with dusty cars and for a small it was definitely clean, more upscale and the other team members were interactive during my visit to Auto Lux!!

BUYER BEWARE :
Price listed on adverted sites are there just to
get you into the door then the price increases by
20% (actual price for the car i was looking at
was $43,000 not $35,000 that was listed). Very
unpleasant experience and to much wasted

T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E. They were rude! They told me they would not even entertain me in purchasing the car I wanted since I had my own financing set up. The financing was through my hometown credit union, and I've had an excellent relationship with them for 8 years and counting. I have a 6 figure savings account with them. I have financed 2 cars with them, these were to be the 3rd and 4th (buying for me and my teenage daughter). What is so wrong with loyalty? They would still be selling a car, they just wouldn't have gotten the kickbacks from jacking with the interest rates behind your back and keeping the difference. I was so upset and shocked that in 2024, you can't exercise your right to pay for YOUR OWN VEHICLE WITH YOUR OWN MONEY. Stay away from these people!!
I went to see Miquel on thur 12/28. When I arrived , he asked where I saw the car( this is to insure that they can rectify the 20% mark up price. I informed him that had the printed out the sale Page (which on the site states that you will need for the to honor the online price) Even with the printed sale paper the online price is ignored with the excuse that you are not financing through them. LoJack is another marked up added on device that they claim is installed on every vehicle. The Acura I went to purchase was priced at $17,930 and ended up totaling $28136.I told Miguel I would think about it.He was supposed to call me back at 5. He waits til fri evening to call and states that he apologizes for not calling back the previous day. I said the was too high and we would have to bring the price down way under $2750. He stated the price was $26k. When I arrived back at 1/2/24 the price was back to 28K

Very cordial and most informative.
Despite reading all the negative reviews, I still decided to visit. When arriving there I was driven to another lot where the car I wanted to look at Mazda cx9. The guy who drove me there was extremely unprofessional, did not know how to open the car, and asked me if I can check YouTube to open the car. Needless to stay the battery of the car was dead, and he couldn't get it to open. Despite that I still told them I will contact them again because I was promised the car will be ready as it needed some work. The following week, after confirming with multiple people of my appointment to come back and see the car I decided to give it another chance, but this time show up with my mechanic because the Mazda cx9 2021 was advertised below 20k ( way below market price), the moment they found out I will have a mechanic their tune changed, I showed up there and the same unprofessional guy came out of the back of the office and started yelling saying he needs more time, and all the excuses.
STAY AWAY!!! First and foremost, the sales woman was not polite in any way. Came off with a lot of attitude and played loud music during our entire encounter. Second, the price listed is not even close to the price that they try to charge. You have to pay a 20% down payment on top of the actual price of the car! This is no where on car gurus and is hidden in the fine print of their actual website advertisements. Very scammy! The price just kept increasing with every question asked and it was almost impossible to get a price to buy the car out right. Financing the car added about 4 thousand to the initial price and buying the car out right added almost 6 thousand. Plus all the hidden fees they try to get. Again, stay away!!

The car was nice, but the price they show is what the price would be after a 20% down payment, so if
they showed the price as $20,000 it would really be $25,000 + like 2/3 thousand for their prep fees and
the title and everything. The Toyota I went in to look at was listed at 22,950 or something along those
lines and when we got there they told us the price with financing would be 30,500 and if we did cash it
would be like 33,000. So it was around ~7.5k more than what was listed which is a big jump in my
opinion.

Staff was friendly, but when I mentioned that financing was being reviewed by my Credit Union. This was not taken into consideration in financing.
The advertised price is not the actual price. The listings on their website have this in the fine print: "Advertised price is the balance owed after a 20% down payment." After I contacted them through CarGurus (and before I read the fine print) they send several emails asking me to call them, but never responded to the emails I sent them, probably because they don't want to put anything in writing.

Usually in these reviews, Its the horrible sales people that provide inadequate customer service. In this
establishment, even the people answering phones can treat you horribly. I called these people and it was
nothing but lies from the start. First they gave me 3 different numbers on what their dealer fee was. One guy
even told me the fee was $2500, after speaking to the second person the number dropped to $500. I asked
to speak to management at least 7 times. Every time I asked to speak to management, it was a new person
who had no idea what they were talking about, The icing on the cake was the receptionist or secretary who
displayed the absolute worst way to treat a person. After dealing with her nasty attitude, She herself hung up
on me and then refused to pick up the phone when I called her back. Anyone looking to purchase a car from
these people, I give you my word that you are making a grave mistake. Don't let these people treat you like
they treated me!
Awful experience. Had a 2pm appointment. When I got there, I was told that the car that I wanted to test drive was at another lot about 10 minutes away but we had to wait for the employee who had the only driver tag since they lost the other one. Once we got to the other lot, the employee said he forgot the key fob and had to go back to the dealership to get it. Very unorganized!

Zero star! Don't ever buy from this dishonest car dealer. They wrote in the seller detail: "Advertised price is the balance owed after a 20% down payment..." It means the true asking price is 20% on top of the advertised price. Sneaky! Selller Rep called me and confirmed it. I said, talk to your General Manager and that this is misleading and it is a sneaky marketing tactic! There is something very wrong with these people.

Bait and switch. Dealer advised wrong information via phone. Car would cost $15K more with all the fees/interest and that's with a down payment of the recommended $2K. Also car is priced contingent that you get a CPO warranty priced for $4K additional to their prep fees n dealer fees.

This dealership is full of it telling me that I have to get the car certified for a loan when I will pay it off they won't sell to you or give you a price unless you go through the mark up stay safe away from shady dealership like this one waste of time

What a fantastic experience I had at this dealer!! From my initial call all the way through financing everyone was very helpful. they gave me
plenty of time to myself to take a look at the car by myself with no one talking in my ear telling me "how great this car is" and "this car is a
great deal". honestly the most relaxed I've ever been at a dealer, no rushing me through anything, everything in the price was very well
explained no weird sneaky dealer fees and they got me a great deal on my trade in. I dont believe i would have gotten a better deal anywhere
else. All and all a the best experience I've had buying a car. And a special shout out to my salesman Tony for making an awesome video to
show off my new whip to my friends!! As well as their detailing crew who did a bang up job prepping the car for me to drive off in it. Great

Worked with Angel, great guy, upfront and honest. Actually ended up not getting a deal done but I never felt pressured or rushed. They provided me with all the information I needed, and would def recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. The only issue I had is that in the listing itself, the advertised price is misleading- you only get the list price with a predetermined down payment, which is only listed in the fine print.

So how does a vehicle price 23500 becomes
31k??? They donât tell you bout 3900 inspections
fee ð¤¦ð»ââï¸ Plus doc fees 599 so I ask what is
inspections fee sales rep said they diagnosed the
vehicle for 3 days never ever heard of inspection
that take 3 days doc fee the vehicle is 3 years old
not brand new. I understand tax and registration
but that should be it .. anyways very misleading

ZERO STARS if there was a option.
DECEPTIVE PRICING and BOGUS ADVERTISING. Car gurus price and prices listed on their website are
different. CAR gurus price was $1000 less.
Sales person explained prices listed are including an "ASSUMED" $2000 down payment for financing.
"said all of the dealerships do this" JUST RIDICULOUS

Drove from PA to NY to look at an A3 that was listed for 17.6. I get there and they bring up the price in BS fees
to 25.5 . more than 8k in fees/warranties etc. Long story short, i told them to stop lying to people to have them
come in, especially during covid. Wasting time, money, and health coming here. I will be reporting this to the
BBB.

price never be the same as they avertised. Even the car extended warranty ($3000) added to the price after they increased the avertised price.

DON'T BUY FROM HERE!
One: There are many dealer fees not reflected. They want you to add the down payment to the
price they're advertising and have a $2,400 dealer fee. Whatever you see, add $5,000 to the
price to get to the real number. I'm a realtor. My down payment with my loan has nothing to do
with your purchase price.
Two, they're really unprofessional. I called several times inquiring about the Ford Fusion and
told them I would be coming out of state Sat for the Ford Fusion. When I came, The car was
all the way in the back under a tree and not cleaned. They told me it would take an hour to
take the car out and I told them I would come back. I came back an hour later and the
salesperson said he thought i was not coming back. Other dealers with similar lots took the
effort to clean and pull the car to the front beforehand. They're right. I'm not coming back.

Inquired when advertised price was $10,765 and quickly found out that that was not including $5,000 of additional charges PRIOR to taxes. I see that the Car Guru’s price has been updated, but the misleading information just to introduce a nearly 50% markup was not appreciated.
