My car buying experience at this dealership started off on a decent note with relatively smooth negotiations conducted by phone. The sales team seemed cooperative and willing to work on a deal that suited my needs, which initially gave me confidence in the process.
Unfortunately, things took a sharp turn for the worse once I arrived onsite.
The dealership’s showroom floor offices, and bathrooms were noticeably unclean and poorly maintained, which immediately raised concerns about their professionalism and attention to detail. It only got worse from there.
The management team was disorganized and appeared indifferent to customer service. Communication throughout the process was incredibly poor — I constantly had to follow up to get basic updates, and the answers I received were often vague or inconsistent. Several commitments made during the negotiation phase were either ignored or never fulfilled, despite repeated attempts to get them addressed. I left the lot on less than a quarter

they lied to me. they already sold the car before i got there. the guy i scheduled my appointment with wasn’t even at the dealership. they never informed me that the car was sold, and made me drive 3 hours to find out when i got there.

Disrespectful, condescending, and expects customer to sympathize with his need to make a solid profit. Sleezy and rude. Wanted proof of financing before test drive over the phone until I came and he saw I drive an expensive car, looked respectable and had solid finances, then the demeanor and conversation changed to much nicer. Car was not prepped to test drive when I arrived even though called in advance. First question when I came in was how are you paying. This dealer does not respect your time. Wanted to discuss the “deal” before you even get to test drive. This dealer is everything people dread about going to dealers.

They had me sign all the paperwork and then notified me the car still needed to be serviced. They called me back in the evening that the car was ready. When I told them I was not able to come back till day after they sold the car to someone else.

They were very attentive, polite and professional. We took the vehicle for a test drive & the brakes vibrated the front end which they said they would fix. We decided not to buy at this time but out of the many dealers we visited this one is tops. Cars are spotless & staff very nice.

follow up is as good as over. When you return the call, 99% of the respondents are unaware of
who would have probably called the prospective buyer from their office and for which car. As
simple as it is my experience with Thomas from AP Fairfax has been exceptional. Though we
were unable to strike a deal, at least we got to exchange some mails and with phone calls
subsequently. Writing an email or an sms to a prospective buyer if you are unable to get
through with phone calls, works. Interested buyers will surely get back with the right query.

Ppl came off as nice. The vehicle wasn't ready to be shown. The 2013 cls check engine light was on and had obvious mechanical problems. I wouldve liked it if they wouldve explained this to me prior to driving out my way there. Besides that the overall experience was ok at best.

Took 2 days to respond on price offer on a car. Took over a half a day to respond on each question. Had to call them back each time. In the end wouldn’t budge on price. Lost my business and I bought a very similar truck from a different dealer for $2000 less.

Dealer initially contacted me regarding the car. I went in to view the car, however, dealer refused to remove the car from stock while my deal was being negotiated unless I put down money on the car first and the car was sold to someone else in the process of my deal being negotiated. Dealer never contacted me regarding another car.

I felt right from the start that they were a dishonest car dealership. It was one lie after lie. I had a 2013 Infinity G37x clean and they knew it was clean. They told me one story after another one how they won't get know money from your car, Now mind you honestly my Infinity was the cleanest car on there lot with 44000 miles. They said we won't be able to sell that car for $13000. They're like a little gang. They all gang up on you telling you thing you know ain't true, $13000 right. They added fees for everything delivery fee? I just drove all the way down here from York Pennsylvania, really a delivery fee? Anyway they low balled me on my Infinity G37x amazing car gave me little to nothing for it. Then stuck a price tag in the window of my, now there Infinity for $20000. They said most of there business come buy way of people telling others about there dealership. Well they don't have to worry about that one. Folks these guys are not HONEST at all. They have no problem ripping you off, taking your hard earned money, will smile and laugh in your face like they known you for years. I wouldn't refer or recommend AP Fairfax to anyone. NOT A HONEST DEALERSHIP 1 OUT OF 10 DEF 0 folks Stick with your Bigger chain dealership. You will have a better piece of mind. RIPPING YOU OFF STRAIGHT FROM THE DOOR

Quick to get back to me. Took the time to verify options that weren't clearly noted in the listing. Financing process took a little longer than I would normally expect, but they did match my rate. Out of state registration (in MA) posed a real challenge for them but their team was diligent in helping to resolve. Would have given 5 starts if not for the fact it took 2 weeks for me to get my vehicle registered,

Dealer contacted me promptly, set up viewing the next day. Went to see the car, guy already had it running it seemed to be like it was about to be a smooth transaction. I brought a mechanic, and he noticed a few minor things but the dealer told me it was as is. I told him I wanted to buy the car out straight cash, just noticed a bad motor mount, and tire pressure light, minor issues. I asked if he was willing to fix these things before I buy seeing as tho it's as is, he made smart remarks and did not wanna help with these issues. I understood the car had passed va inspection, but that was just the issues I noticed in 3 minutes of viewing the car, so my only insurance was to at least have the minor issues fixed because it was my problem after the purchase. Guy was very passive aggressive about it, and lost on a sale by not being negotiable. Now after it all the car running seemed like a suspicious act. Bad businessman, but seems like a decent place to buy a car from. Just don't let it be over 100,000 miles because it's AS IS, and all the problems are yours.

The dealer was very prompt with their responses and both a salesman and a manager offered to take my call. However, I had several simple questions that I had asked in the contact information which they did not respond to ... I didn't want to waste anyone's time if these 3 simple things couldn't be answered. Event "I don't know" would have been an acceptable response, then I may have called them back. Since they didn't answer anything I asked, I did not bother to call them and listen to the sales pitch.

Finance manager, general manager and 'repair(?) manager are top notch,
very responsive, patient and not at all aggressive. Very transparent
transactions, everything unfolded as they described. No surprises. The only
negative was the salesperson who drove me to the car rental place 1/4 mile
away. Very rude and condescending. Had he been my sales guy, I wouldn't
have bought the car. Glad he was involved after all all of the paperwork was
completed.

Very quick to respond and seemed very interested to sell me the car and
earn my business but the moment i made a commitment to visiting the
dealership and seeing the car in person to make the purchase, all of a
sudden the car was sold. I had asked about making a deposit to hold the
vehicle for 2-3 days until i was able to get to the dealership but was told
they don't take deposits.

The dealer responded right away and was quite friendly. Only issue
was the car specs weren't exactly as noted, such as no back up
camera. There's also a 500 dollar fee but that's the case with most
dealers these day, The car was quite clean and in working order.

False/misleading pictures of the car. The car advertised looks flawless and clean. However, when going to view it was dented, scratched and gashed. The angles they used for the pictures are just to lure people in. The salesmen were also deceptive and kept calling me to sell a car that I never inquired about.
