The 2025 Toyota Tundra offers these trims:
- SR: The entry trim is the starting point for the lineup and suits buyers who want the Tundra’s core capability and standard tech in the most straightforward package.
- SR5: This is the best-value trim, adding more everyday comfort and convenience while staying close to the lineup’s practical sweet spot.
- Limited: This trim adds a more upscale feel and broader equipment for shoppers who want extra comfort and features.
- Platinum: This trim brings a more premium experience with available tech and comfort upgrades.
- 1794 Edition: This trim leans into a distinctive upscale personality with added style and comfort.
- TRD Pro: This off-road-focused trim adds 18-inch TRD off-road wheels, all-terrain tires, Bilstein shocks, skid plates, an electronically controlled locking rear differential, Toyota’s Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, and Downhill Assist Control.
- Capstone: This is the top luxury-oriented trim, aimed at buyers who want the most premium Tundra experience.

Customers say
The Toyota Tundra has consistently impressed owners over the years with its powerful engines, spacious interiors, and reputation for reliability. Drivers appreciate the smooth ride and capability of this truck, especially for towing and hauling. Many highlight its durability and strong performance across various conditions. However, some common complaints include less-than-ideal fuel economy and outdated technology compared to competitors. The Tundra's build quality and comfort remain strong selling points, but higher prices and certain features being lacking have caused some hesitation among buyers.

It's 2025 and across all makes new trucks have become incredibly expensive and surprisingly fragile. However, we found this preloved 2.5 gen Tundra and while even with a lot of miles already on it, we expect it to last and last. Plus it was way more affordable! This truck is a dream to drive, has very sure handling, capable stopping, and nice interior appointments. With plenty of room and the 4x4 at the twist of a knob, we can go anywhere! The longer bed holds enough and it can even tow the space shuttle whenever needed! We have found the 2014 Tundra to be a great value and a joy to own. It fulfills our truck requirements confidently and comfortably! Try it, you'll love it!

Why it stands out
The 2023 Toyota Tundra stands out as a full-size pickup that trades an older formula for a more advanced and efficient approach. Toyota’s own summary says the truck underwent a dramatic change between the 2021 and 2022 model years, gaining a brand-new look, a much more modern powertrain, and a full technological makeover. For 2023, Toyota keeps things largely the same, with the main addition being an SX appearance package for the SR5 trim level. That makes this model year appealing to buyers who want the benefits of the redesigned truck without a major rethink from one year to the next.
What helps the 2023 Toyota Tundra remain attractive is the combination of multiple powertrain options, impressive technology, and good value for money. Owners also praise its powerful engine, comfortable interior, smooth ride, stylish appearance, and fuel efficiency. At the same time, the truck is not without drawbacks: its design may be polarizing, and not all safety features are standard.
