What Toyota 4Runner do most buyers choose?

The Toyota 4Runner years with the most listings are 2024, 2022, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare and a wider spread of prices and conditions. That usually makes it easier to find a 4Runner that fits your budget and equipment needs.

What is the Toyota 4Runner's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used. One recent year is still moving upward, and another is nearly flat, so the 4Runner’s pricing picture is mixed rather than uniformly falling. The biggest drops are concentrated in the newer and mid-cycle years, while the smallest changes cluster closer to flat.

The 2023 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2024, 2023, and 2017 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
