The first true Scion (the xA and xB were originally Japanese rebadges), the 2-door Scion tC was a sporty hatchback that debuted in 2004. The Scion tC took the place of Toyota's Celica in the sports compact segment. Over its three-year existence, the Scion has created very limited edition Release Series tCs, one for each year, which basically offer different color choices.
