The low roof is great as I can stand up in it. Not to pleased with Ram Connect. They want to charge you for servicesthat should have been part of the service price. Also they took out the over head shelf that was useful for storage like maps, sun glasses, Wet Ones. as there is very little storage. Een the glove compartment is small.

Overview
About the RAM ProMaster
The RAM ProMaster is a front-wheel drive (FWD) full-size cargo van. Mainly used for commercial purposes, the ProMaster is known for its great visibility, standard features, cargo capacity, and flexible configuration options to meet various business and consumer needs.
What are the advantages of the RAM ProMaster?
- Maneuverability and turning radius
- User-friendly and configurable interior
- Impressive cargo volume
- High payload capacities
- Standard driver-assistance features
What is the best RAM ProMaster model year?
The 2021 ProMaster is the one to consider when shopping the used-car market. For 2021, a crosswind-assist feature became standard, while newly available advanced safety features included forward collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. A 9.2-inch digital rearview mirror was also added to the options list. Resembling a standard rearview motor, the digital version provided unobstructed views behind the vehicle.
What are the disadvantages of the RAM ProMaster?
- Front-wheel drive only
- Unrefined ride quality and handling
- Noisy cabin at highway speeds
- Less towing capacity than competitors
Comparison: Is the RAM ProMaster better than the Ford Transit?
With its selection of roof heights, body lengths, and even payload capacities, the ProMaster is a sizable competitor in the cargo van market. However, its lack of rear- or all-wheel-drive (AWD) options (like the Transit) hinders its capabilities in areas that experience seasonal weather. The Ford Transit also comes with a choice of V6, turbocharged V6, and diesel engines versus the ProMaster’s lone V6 offering. The Transit can tow more, too—up to 7,500 pounds—compared to the ProMaster’s 6,500 pounds. But the ProMaster steals the win from the Transit by offering more standard and optional features at a similar price point.
How much cargo space does the RAM ProMaster have?
The ProMaster is available in as many as 19 configurations with cargo lengths as long as 13.5 feet. With a cargo width of up to 75.6 inches, the RAM ProMaster offers more than 500 cubic feet of cargo space.
Is the RAM ProMaster a reliable car?
The RAM ProMaster does not get high marks in overall reliability, ranking near the bottom of the van segment. The ProMaster warranty isn’t particularly long, and customer complaints showcase a higher-than-average frequency of repairs, including brake replacement within a couple of years. The ProMaster also has been the subject of multiple recalls, including as many as 16 for the 2016 model year alone. Later model years have fared better, though.
