My fav car ever, so sad they got discontinued

the car has about 13mpg city miles and about 16mpg highway miles to the gallon. However, the car is quite fun to drive. and is accessible anywhere. It can fit in those New York City garages that don't take SUVs and it comfortably seats five with a large trunk. The stereo system in my car has a six disc CD changer with 9 inch performance speakers and XM satellite radio standard.

Originally it was based on the Frontier platform, but now the Frontier, Xterra, and Titan all share the same platform. As a truck-based SUV, the Xterra handles accordingly. The Xterra has won a number of awards, including Motor Trend's SUV of the year in 2000 and 2006. The Xterra is also a notable part of Nissan's late '90s turnaround from near bankruptcy.
