The Lincoln MKZ has consistently impressed owners across its model years with its luxurious design, comfort, and strong performance. Many drivers appreciate the stylish interiors and high-quality features, making it a desirable choice for those seeking a blend of luxury and practicality. Reviewers often commend its smooth ride and good fuel economy, particularly in hybrid models, while the AWD option is favored for enhanced performance. However, some owners have voiced disappointment regarding power levels compared to previous models and noted a lack of advanced safety features in certain years. Overall, the MKZ is seen as a reliable and elegant option, though some drivers wished for more excitement in terms of performance and features.

Why it stands out
The 2017 Lincoln MKZ stands out as a redesigned take on Lincoln’s entry-level luxury sedan, with a new front end, a new engine, and a long list of standard equipment. It was also given an exclusive new 3.0-liter V6 with class-leading power, which helps explain why this model was positioned as a more serious performance and luxury contender than before. The available owner feedback lines up with that mission, pointing to a smooth ride, strong performance, and a generous feature set for the money.
What makes the 2017 Lincoln MKZ appealing is the way it tries to deliver more than many rivals without asking buyers to add as much equipment. The summary says its standards would cost more from the competition, and it also notes the new Sync 3 infotainment system as a major upgrade over the outgoing version. At the same time, the car’s appeal is not universal: owner comments suggest some shoppers may miss advanced driver-assistance features such as adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring.
