Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Highway Driving Assist on higher trim levels, including the XRT test car
• Infotainment: a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• Fuel efficiency: the Santa Fe Hybrid is rated at 34 mpg combined with AWD, while the standard turbocharged engine drops to 23 mpg combined for other AWD models and 21 mpg for the XRT

Which Hyundai Santa Fe trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe offers these trims:

• SE: The entry trim starts the lineup with the standard turbocharged engine and the Santa Fe’s practical, boxy family-SUV character.
• SEL: This trim adds more equipment while staying in the core of the lineup for shoppers who want a balanced mix of value and features.
• XRT: The XRT adds all-terrain tires, a raised suspension with 1.3 inches of extra ground clearance, greater approach, breakover, and departure angles, and off-road drive modes.
• Limited: This trim adds the larger 12.3-inch display and a Bose premium audio system, making it a strong choice if you want more upscale tech.
• Calligraphy: The top trim brings the most luxurious feel in the lineup and suits buyers who want the most premium Santa Fe experience.

What Hyundai Santa Fe do most buyers choose?

The Hyundai Santa Fe years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2022.

Those model years tend to draw the most attention because they combine broad availability with newer design and equipment. That gives you more choices at the same time the market is showing strong interest in them.

What is the Hyundai Santa Fe's resale value?

Most model years in the table are moving lower year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want more room to negotiate. The sharpest drops are concentrated in several older and newer years alike, while a few recent model years are much steadier.

The 2023 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2014, 2023, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
