Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Honda Safety Sense
• Infotainment: 12.3-inch touchscreen display with Google Built-in and wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto
• Fuel efficiency: The 2026 Passport should return an EPA-estimated 19 mpg city, 25 highway, 21 combined in RTL trim and 18/23/20 in TrailSport and TrailSport Elite trims.

Which Honda Passport trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda Passport offers these trims:

• RTL: The entry trim brings the 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, a Wi-Fi hotspot, four USB-C charging ports, a 10.2-inch fully digital driver information display, standard all-wheel drive, seven drive modes, and a tow hitch available as an option. It suits you if you want the most accessible way into the redesigned Passport.
• TrailSport: This trim adds genuine off-road hardware, including skid plates, improved approach and departure angles, better ground clearance, and 18-inch wheels with more sidewall for ride comfort and traction. It also includes a tow hitch and is the best-value pick if you want the Passport’s rugged character.
• TrailSport Elite: This trim builds on TrailSport with a 12-speaker Bose stereo system, the TrailWatch camera system with a birds-eye view, and genuine-leather upholstery. It suits you if you want the most fully equipped Passport.

What Honda Passport do most buyers choose?

The Honda Passport years with the most listings are 2023, 2022, and 2024.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you a strong mix of availability, pricing, and deal opportunities. They also sit in the sweet spot where you can find newer features without moving all the way to the newest, highest-priced inventory.

What is the Honda Passport's resale value?

Most Passport model years are moving down in price year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used. The larger drops are concentrated in older and mid-cycle years, while the newest model year is changing the least. That pattern suggests you can find better value in recent used examples without paying the steepest new-vehicle premium.

The 2026, 2023, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Honda Passport safe?

• 2022: 4/10
