The Honda Accord's current nationwide average price is $18,819, and its lowest point over the past year was $17,827. Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the Honda Accord is a strong used-car choice if you want a roomy, comfortable sedan with a long-running reputation for reliability and easy day-to-day livability. The all-generations owner rating is 4.4/5 across every model year in the data.

Expert reviews rate the 2021 and 2014 models among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs in the expert reviews center on front-seat comfort, technology that can feel behind the curve in some years, and the absence of all-wheel drive. Even so, the Accord’s broad appeal comes through clearly in the way it combines comfort, space, and driving enjoyment.

What should I look for when buying a used Honda Accord?

Older model years carry meaningfully higher accident rates, so always verify the vehicle history report on pre-2023 models.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Honda Sensing, including high-beam assist, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and lane-centering assist.
• Infotainment: a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: the turbo 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine supplies 192 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a satisfying swell of 192 pound-feet of torque between 1,700 and 5,000 rpm.

Which Honda Accord trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda Accord offers these trims:

• LX: The entry trim includes the Accord’s core cabin and tech setup, plus Honda Sensing, a 10.2-inch digital instrumentation panel, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display.
• SE: The best-value trim adds blind-spot monitors and rear cross-traffic alert, along with 19-inch wheels and a more upscale look and feel.

What Honda Accord do most buyers choose?

The Honda Accord years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to draw the most shoppers because they combine broad availability with newer features and strong value. They also give you more listings to compare, which can make it easier to find the right price, mileage, and condition mix.

What is the Honda Accord's resale value?

Most Accord model years are moving lower year over year, which is good news if you are shopping used and want more value for your money. The declines are strongest in several newer and mid-cycle years, while a few older examples are nearly flat or slightly higher. Overall, the pattern points to a market where buyers can still find meaningful price relief across much of the lineup.

The 2015 and 2016 model years are holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.
