Key things to evaluate:
- Safety package: Honda Sensing driving assistance technologies
- Infotainment: standard 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Fuel efficiency: 51 mpg city, 44 mpg highway, and 48 mpg combined
Which Honda Accord Hybrid trim should I buy?
The 2026 Honda Accord Hybrid offers these trims:
- Sport: The base trim starts at $35,090 with destination and gives you the standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument panel, Amazon Alexa connectivity, a wireless phone charger, HondaLink connected services, and the Accord Hybrid’s strong efficiency and upscale design. It suits you if you want the entry point into the lineup with the core hybrid experience.
- EX-L: This is the best-value trim because it adds more amenities while keeping the highest fuel-economy ratings, thanks to the smaller wheels and tires. It also brings the most appealing balance of comfort and efficiency for many shoppers.
- Sport-L: This trim adds leather seating and black exterior accents, giving the Accord Hybrid a more distinctive look and a more upscale cabin feel.
- Touring: The top trim adds a 12-speaker Bose stereo, Google built-in navigation on the digital display, a head-up display, HD radio, rear automatic emergency braking, and front and rear parking sensors. It suits you if you want the most features and the most premium experience.
What Honda Accord Hybrid do most buyers choose?
The Honda Accord Hybrid years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 3,341 | 35.6% |
| 2025 | 2,881 | 35.2% |
| 2023 | 2,672 | 35.9% |
| 2026 | 1,395 | 35% |
| 2022 | 1,325 | 36.6% |
| 2021 | 574 | 33.3% |
These higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you more inventory to compare and more chances to find the right price, mileage, and equipment mix. They also sit close to the newest generation, which helps them feel current while still offering used-car value.
What is the Honda Accord Hybrid's resale value?
| Model Year | Current Avg. Price | Year-Over-Year Change |
|---|---|---|
| 2020 | $21,129 | −4.62% |
| 2021 | $22,760 | −4.42% |
| 2025 | $31,201 | −3.95% |
| 2023 | $26,934 | −3.55% |
| 2024 | $28,394 | −2.95% |
| 2018 | $18,738 | −2.74% |

| 2017 | $16,053 | −1.07% |
| 2019 | $19,986 | +0.44% |

The 2019 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.
The 2019, 2017, and 2022 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Consider waiting if:

- Starting price: The Accord Hybrid starts at $35,090 with destination.

Great space. Quite. Smooth. Missing power outlets for back seats.

I bought the base and am happy I did. Simple analog entertainment system with no problems. Cloth seats wear well. Made in Japan this year and the quality and detail shows. Spacious mid size borders on full size . No folding back seat might be a deal breaker but I have second car for trips. Sold slowly at the time many buyers got 20-25% off very rare for Honda. Michelin that came with it got 35000 mi bought Conti's 5% drop in mpg but 70000mi + Max mpg in summer in hilly areas between 45- 65 mph with no ac but plenty of air flow. I like the safety sensing but wife turns it off. Test drove other hybrids but lack the refinement to be an apex commuter

Fuel economy is incredible! Vehicle is very quiet, but sounds like a space vehicle at low speeds. Honda really did a great job with new design and features of the car. Unsure how leather seats will weather yet, but my cars are all maintained well inside and out.

Why it stands out
The 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid stands out because it does not ask buyers to give up the usual strengths of a midsize sedan in exchange for better fuel economy. According to the test-drive summary, it is presented as a strong example of how a hybrid can deliver efficiency, practicality, style, and performance at an affordable price, and the blurb says no compromises are required when choosing it over its traditionally powered siblings or contemporary competitors.
Its appeal is reinforced by a straightforward set of strengths: it is fuel-efficient, comes with standard advanced safety features, and offers excellent value for money. The main drawback noted is fairly pedestrian performance, so it is best suited to shoppers who care more about efficiency and everyday usefulness than quick acceleration.
