- Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $32,067. The Genesis G70 offers a stylish, premium cabin with a sporty character that makes it feel more special than many rivals.
Consider waiting if:
- Powertrain/efficiency: For 2024 the base engine is improved from a 2.0-liter turbocharged powerplant to a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder turbo with 300 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can also upgrade to a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque if so desired.
- Tech: Every G70 gets a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Genesis’ digital key now works with both Android and iOS operating systems.

- Starting price: The 2024 Genesis G70 is one of the least-expensive cars in its class, starting at $41,500 for a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine in RWD in the Advanced trim.
If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.

This is the Sport Prestige package and my lord is it amazing. The interior is comfy, looks nice and the features suit my needs. The Siberian ice is stunning with its aftermarket wheels. I was considering this, a ct4v blackwing, is500 or the new scat pack and I just felt this car is of better value.

CarGurus recommends the 2024 Genesis G70
Summary
With 1,053 currently listed for sale and an average price of $32,068, 38.6% of 2024 Genesis G70 listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: CarGurus experts gave it an 8.7 / 10.
85.2% of 2024 Genesis G70 listings on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2024 Genesis G70 stands out as a compact sport-luxury sedan that pairs sharp styling with strong powertrain choices. It arrives for this model year with only a few styling tweaks and a brand-new engine option, and its appeal is reinforced by great handling, excellent build quality, and impressive safety tech. The result is a car that feels more compelling than its value-focused positioning might suggest.
It is also notable for offering multiple powertrain options, which gives buyers some flexibility in how they want the car to feel on the road. At the same time, the G70 is described as a bit more snug than a BMW 3 Series, particularly in the trunk, so it is not the roomiest choice in the segment. Limited interior storage and the lack of wireless smartphone mirroring are also drawbacks, but for shoppers who care more about driving enjoyment and standard safety features than maximum space, the 2024 Genesis G70 makes a strong case for itself.
