GMC ENVOY DENALI is a tremendous value. It is the next value up collectible like BRONCO, BLAZER, and Suburban. Easily customizable, tunable and standout. The Corvette of SUVs. I've owned and/built 16 of them. I currently have 2 2006 models that have upgraded in handling and power. Top speed has been increased to 138 mph. Bilsteins, Hotchkis and Wildfire make them handle. Wildfire exhaust makes them purr. Rust free Texas cars. Terrific value!!!!

Just got it used this summer and it is a great car especially with toledo winters. its is great for towing and for winter driveing. the performance is great. no complaints excepts for gas milege. its very comfortable to drive and is quiet in the highway even when i was towing a uhaul.

Ive taken my 2002 Envoy SLT on numerous trips for long distances. A very good ride and no problems .I really like it. Classy looking and very easy to drive.

GMC Envoys are great vehicles. I owned a 2006 which I bought used and it was a fantastic vehicle. It was caught in a flood and totaled so I found a 2004 and have had it for about 5 years. No issues. They are dependable and ride well. I will buy another if something happens to this one. I would recommend GMC Envoys to anyone.

The Envoy started as an offshoot of the 1998 GMC Jimmy and replaced the Jimmy by 2002. Unlike other GMC models, this SUV doesn't come in dozens of trims. For example, the '07 version offers 4 trims, 3 of which use a 4.2 L, 291 hp I6 engine and the Denali, which has a 5.3 L, 302 hp V8 powertrain. The first Envoys packed a 190 hp V6 before an upgrade in '02 to 270 hp and then to its current 291 hp starting in 2006.
You can generally count on the Envoy for 15 mpg in the city and 21 on the highway. With 4 doors and room for 5, you'll have enough room to take a small family wherever it needs to go. Pick up the Envoy XL if you plan to carry a couple more.
