In order to understand my position on this car you have to realize it was the first manual transmission I ever drove, which makes it special. I have also driven/ridden in it for over 15,000 miles, which makes it a part of almost every antique vehicular (mental) comparison I make. That being said, with hydraulic brakes the car can stop on a dollar and give you change. It is a chore to steer at slow speeds (<10 mph). It has a pressurized block, as well as, a counterbalanced crankshaft which add to the original model a performance. It will maintain 65 mph easily, but any higher speed it is downright dangerous. It has the essence of 1920-30s classic lines. Also, it averages 20 mpg, a little less when we rally it. I will always love this car, it is the most reliable antique we own and I have spent so much time in it sentimental does not begin to describe its value.

This car has an Iroc engine, all leather interior, rumble seat and is a beautiful car inside and out. A pleasure to drive.

Black and chrome, doesn't get better than that! Handling and acceleration was excellent. Freeway driving was comfortable and reliable. Quick response can be a pro and con. Over-steer can lead to issues and uncontrollability. Exciting to drive and people are always pulling up next to you and stare. Thumbs up!
