The Escape with the 3L v. 6 Duratec engine is a beast - with regular maintenance (oil changes, automatic transmission fluid changes, etc.) it will easily make it to 250K miles.
I loved everything about it! I loved it so much, I bought it. Great visibility, handles very well, feels tight, well-balanced and agile. Gas mileage ratings are also good. The roof racks and tow-ready package are a bonus. So is the intelligent 4x4. It also has plenty of room for storage all over the vehicle with attention to detail and ergonomic design. The only thing I had a problem with was connecting my phone. The display screen is far away and a bit difficult to read and I still havent figured out how to access the sub menu for adding Bluetooth devices. I guess I have to resort to reading the directions. Overall, its a very good value!
A reliable yet somewhat cramped compact SUV with efficient fuel economy and modern tech features.
This was loaded with features and it was a great value. It is only missing side steps. I am short and it is high for me.
