It's in perfect condition. It's my baby. :) I love this car. It's super fast, and it drives like a sports car. I never have to get it fixed. It's fun to drive, and it gets great gas mileage. The interior is so comfortable too.

Pros: Um, I suppose a pro is that it was free; it was my grandpa's car. V6, AC, Power Windows and Doors. 4 Wheel independent suspension with 4 wheel disc brakes (rare for the time). Soft suspension made a comfortable ride. Cons: Bouncy, land-yacht handling. Tons of body roll when cornering. 3-Speed automatic with no tachometer. Manual mirrors. Exhaust system liked to rust through and sound very loud. Not even a tape player.

Incredibly reliable, never had any problems with her. In 9 years, the only thing I have had to do for her was have her EKG valve checked out. That was it. Seats are incredibly comfortable. I have been able to take trips of 600+ miles without having to stop and stretch my back out. Also, the back seat is very comfortable for sleeping if you can't make it home. Enough power to get me where I need to go, while still returning 29-32 miles per gallon. I maxxed out at 537 miles on one tank of gas, but then I had to push it the last half mile to the gas station.

The Lumina was created in large part as a replacement for the sedan version of the Monte Carlo. Although intended as Chevrolet's entrant into NASCAR, the Lumina was largely remembered as being the “Mickey Mouse car,“ as its early advertisements featured Disney characters. After just over ten years, the Lumina would be replaced by the Impala as Chevy's sedan.
